The website has lots of good pics. They have several rigs and all appear to be very new. They setup our trailer in our site at Frandy and hooked everything up. They provided lots of good information that would be useful for novice RVers. They were constantly in contact to make sure everything was going well with our rental. Inside, the trailer was immaculately clean. It's well equipped with a full set of dishes and cooking utensils, pots, pans, etc. However they didn't just overcrowd it with a hodgepodge of random stuff - it's all well curated and exactly what you need with nothing extra that you don't. Let me first start off by saying this was my very first Rv experience for camping, I grew up tenting so for my first Rv experience it was phenomenal and to top of off the gentleman and his wife are absolutely amazing they have a pure heart of gold and I would 1000% recommend them to my family and friends also the Rv we stayed in was gorgeous and had everything you would need to be comfortable at a campsite from air conditioning to a comfty bed and also a beautiful fireplace a cute little kitchen and recliner seats, shower/restroom.... I did have a little trouble with the toilet flushing but they came right out and fixed it within minutes and were so sweet about it. They made us feel so comfortable from our first day all the way til our, last thank y'all for making our experience a great one. Just got home from camping in Kernville. My family and I have been camping at Frandy Park for years but this was the first time we rented an RV from Camping on the Kern. It was an awesome experience. We drove up on Thursday night and the RV was all set up and ready to enjoy. We purchased the outdoor package too so the chairs and firewood was a nice to have. They also provided a complimentary bag of coffee grinds from the local Kern Roasting Coffee Company. We will definitely be renting an RV from them again next year for Memorial Day weekend. read more

We had a large camp group in September "Trail Mixer" and I believe we rented about 10 RVs from Camping on the Kern. Will and his wife were amazing!!!! We decided last minute to up our camping experience and rent an RV. And we loved the experience! Having the unit waiting for us after a day being on the road with the AC already on inside was heaven on earth. It was an unexpected 90 degrees outside. We slept great each night. SPOILED !!! We were SPOILED !!!...From the moment we stepped in our trailer we felt at home on the Kern !!!....Melody had the rig all ready for us. It was spotless and in move-in condition !!... As you walk in....where do you go first...see how nice the bed is!!! The bed was heaven for 5 dayz and could have stayed another 5 or more !!! The refrigerator was large enough for everything I brought...the freezer held chicken, steaks, ribs, and ice cream no problem !!!...Our rig had an outside freezer/refrigerator as well..... that we used for liberations and appetizers. Did I mention the ice maker and great outside griddle ?!?!? We were set up at the KRS RV PARK .... We'd highly recommend this campground as well. Beautiful setting right on the river......Lotz a wildlife including a pair of ducks that came to visit every afternoon, a skunk, crows n' ravens, the birds took their daily baths in a little pool just steps away....and rumor has it a pair of bears may stroll through the campground....didn't see them but they did leave a fairly large package !!! Deer...the deer came through as well. Just a great time. We enjoyed a downfall of fall rain, lightning, and thunder in our rig. Very comfortable inside watching the sites of Mother Nature. Thank you for a wonderful vacation in a terrific setting ...... WE WILL BE BACK !!! Camping on the Kern was super amazing. Their level of communication was phenomenal. It was great before the trip and during the trip. Love camping at Rivernook with "Camping on the Kern." RV was in stellar condition. Kids loved the amenities on the RV. The RV was there when we arrived to the campground no need to move it ourselves. They drop off and pick up. Outdoor kitchen helped meal preparation. They provided courtesy toilet paper, soap, dishes etc. I paid $25 for my small puppies. We had issues with our burner on the stove and she arrived within two minutes to show me how to turn it on. Comfy matresses and really comfortable seating. Excellent family owned business. Will use again for sure. I thanked them for helping my children build family memories. Highly recommend! Glampling is so much fun! read more

My family of 5 and our dog, rented a 9 person trailer from Camping on the Kern. Prior to arrival our communication was great. Upon arrival the trailer was left with the heat on so that when we arrived it would be nice and warm (it was 30 degrees when we arrived). Later that evening the heater would not turn off and I had to call the company about the issue. I called and my call was answered. A live person answered my call and we resolved the issue. The next morning a floor heater was brought to us to use since the heater had malfunctioned. Every part of the trailer worked and my 3 kids enjoyed staying here. The fridge is a decent size and there is ample space to store your things. They even supply a coffee maker, toaster, forks, knives etc, along with plates and pans. The place is stocked with what you will need as if you were at home. There is a large TV on the wall that can be connected to the internet to watch a movie. There is also a speaker below the tv that will connect via blue tooth. There are speaker on the outside as well. All in all we enjoyed our stay with Camping on Kern trailer rentals. Their communication was a 10+++ and the trailer was clean when we got into it. Things that we could not control are the thickness of the mattresses. You need to bring your own linens here and rightfully so. If you like a thick mattress feel bring a mattress topper for extra comfort. Nothing is perfect I understand and I think this place does everything they can to make your trip a memorable one. I would recommend this company to others to rent a trailer from. We rented the "Wildwood" so I can't speak for the other units. We stayed at Rivernook campground space 433 which is right on the river. Lots of good places to go fishing within walking distance (5-15 min walk). If we went back to the Kern River and needed a place to stay I would rent a trailer from this place again. read more

My wife had more of the phone experience with them and she was very pleased with every conversation she had. When they arrived to drop off our trailer I had the pleasure of meeting them in person. They were very thorough when walking is through the amenities of the trailer. The trailer was dropped off clean and sanitized - it came equipped with more than we had planned. Paper towel, toilet paper, coffee maker, soap, disinfectant etc etc it was perfect and ready to go upon drop off. They even had fresh flowers, a bottle of wine, and chairs included. All you gotta do is make sure to provide your ETA once you leave, when you arrive in lake isabella, & after checking into your campsite. They leave the keys hidden for you so you don't have to wait for them to come explain everything to you. Staff is beyond friendly & is always there whenever you have a question. It was my first time ever using a trailer. I didn't have to worry about a thing. When I arrived there were two chairs and a camping rug outside. It truly made me feel at home. I went camping on the Kern with a group of about 70 peeps. This was my VERY 1st time camping with a camper b/c let's be real...I'm a GLAMPer not a camper. Will made this experience so easy and smooth that I will def be using his services if I ever come back camping up that way. He dropped off the camper, firewood and generator. Once there, he met with us and went over how to use it and gave us some tips. He also gave us 2 camping chairs and a mat that we did not pay for.
