Yesterday, my family and I visited Camping World in Colton CA. During the tour of the RV's, our salesman, Alex, left us in the middle to get information on a particular model. While we were in a Jayco model with stairs, my 74 yr old mother fell HARD to the ground. We informed the associates who were told of the fall, but our salesman, Alex, blew it off and didn't even inquire about her state. Another specialist was told and his response was, "thank God she's not bleeding". The personal mistreatment of my mother was unacceptable and we hope that this incident will be addressed by the management of Camping World. By the time we got home my Mother was in so much pain she will be seeking medical care. I called to let the manager know the situation. He of course wants to blame us for not reporting it. As I repeated several times in our conversation it was reported but your salesmen blew it off and made a mockery instead. read more

My husband and I own a motorhome and do most of our shopping at Camping World. So we recommended Campjng World (Colton) for my brothers first new trailer purchase. Made an appointment with sales rep Ezekiel. Ezekiel was wonderful, took the time and explained every step of the way. However, the finance department was the WORST! Once my brother was ready to sign away, we were told the trailer did not come with batteries and propane, which was okay since we could buy those elsewhere. The finance department would not make a deal if my brother didn't purchase the batteries, propane and inspection from Camping World for the ridiculous amount of $1,999.00.!!! Originally tjat was an option to purchase,we opt out. Why would your finance dept force that on? My brother his wife and kids were excited to purchase their dream travel trailer. Unfortunately the greediness of your finance department made us walk away. Poor customer service on behalf of your finance department. read more

We had our first experience ever at camping world this past week, and we are very pleased with the RV we purchased and the service we received. The first day we visited, we were browsing and didn't know we needed an appointment. But the front desk receptionist so graciously made us a walk-in and we were shown the lot of RVs by Ernie. On this first day we didn't find anything in our budget. Ezekiel also helped us toward the end of our visit and he said what we were looking for was a "unicorn". He informed us he'd let us know when an RV of our interest comes in. Well, my husband that night searched their online website for a used RV more so in our price range and he found one! Actually my husband saw it on the lot that day, and what we came to find out is that it was so new on the lot that it hadn't been finished being received. Talk about a "unicorn"!! We called the next morning & made an appointment. Again, Ernie shows us the RV, and Ezekiel is right there as well enthusiastic that although we missed it the day before it must have been meant to be. Fast forward a bit, and we purchased the RV. Ezekiel was very patient (as we were making the purchase while caring for our twin babies) friendly, accommodating, and has a great attitude of positivity. The service tech who gave us our walk-through of the RV was very professional, kind, and knowledgeable. The financial manager, Ray, was also awesome to work with! He was knowledgeable, kind, patient, and personable. Overall, we enjoyed our experience making our first ever RV purchase. Not only are we happy with the rv, but also because of the customer service from all the employees we worked with. My husband and I had no idea it was a new location given the quality of the experience, and we would def recommend to our friends and family. read more

I was extremely let down when visiting the Colton location. I was in the market for a new couch, a washer/drier combo, kitchen and bathroom fixtures and a toilet. I drove 2.5 hours to get there. When I walked in no one seemed interested in helping me . I was asking questions and telling them what I was looking for . Kept getting told go to the back they will help you . Yeah right no one whated to help I seem more like an inconvenience. Even in the back. They no knowledge of the items they were selling . And was just pointing me in directions to fend for myself . I left with a lot less then I came for because no one would help me , which was a disappointment. I did find a toilet I like asked for the white one and received a color called bone , I was very clear I didn't like the beigh color I wanted white . Now I have to drive another 2.5 hours one way to return this toilet . Waste of my day and another one to come . Just the worse on customer service . Oh by the way I found out they also receive commission . You would think that the employees would be more eager to help you . I will never go here again after my return. One of the most unpleasant experiences I have ever had. The manager and sales representatives only want to make money and do not care about customers. They want to sell and kick you out the door as soon as you sign the dotted line. Was given more stress with Camping World than I could possible imagine. If you are going to buy a RV do NOT use Camping World in general and DO NOT stop at this location. read more

6/14/23 Update: Per advice from Camping World, we contacted customer service within a few days of posting our review. My husband spoke with a representative, and explained the details of our situation and dissatisfaction. He was assured the representative would open a case for us, and begin investigating what had happened. Well...what a surprise, the customer service department has dropped us like a hot potato. After 2 months, there have been no contact attempts of any kind from customer service. We have tried calling them multiple times, and cannot get through to a live person. No one answers the call, so we left multiple voice messages. No one calls back. We tried emailing...no response. So basically don't waste your time with customer service, they're not interested in resolving issues or helping you. Once Camping World has your money...you're on your own. read more

My husband and myself and 2 young grandsons took a visit to Camping World to view the store and view some trailers and motor homes. We were with a very nice and knowalaged salesman. He gave us alot of help and information. We didn't buy anything from him but when we do we will for sure look him up again and make him our salesman. it was a nice outing at Camping World in San Bernardino,Ca. I have been trying for months to get a call back about the faulty control pad Jayco puts in all their trailers. They said they were ordering a new one it's a warranty thing and the pads go bad all the time but at least someone should have called from the Colton Camping World. I also have other warranty issues I have been trying to get the trailer in to have fixed before the warranty expires. You would think a trailer that costs more than my first house would have better service associated with it. read more

We walked in just wanting to look around and Nathan E. gave us a tour and pointed out the RV's in our budget. He was no pressure chill and informative. We left there feeling like we were shown a nice selection of RV's that could be in our budget, even shown a sheet with a rough estimate. We felt no pressure to buy anything and we left appreciating the effort and time Nathan E. took with us. We did some research on our own and were NOT relentlessly left texts, emails and/or vm messages asking us when we were coming back in (which was a past experience with a neighboring dealership, very off putting). We came back a week later ready to see what the dealership could do for us and we made a deal. We picked up our new RV today and Nathan E. was there to greet us and make sure we were taken care of. Jeff Brown gave us an expert walk through tour of our RV, answering all of our questions, giving us helpful tips and finding the sweet spot for our brake controller. Jeff was very professional and made us confident first time RV'ers. Buying an RV can be a stressful experience, but the guys at Camping World made it a no stress experience, no pressure experience. We are excited to take our new RV out for weekend trips. read more

Decent selection of rvs to look at. Had a great sales guy who was new and down to earth, then the "seasoned" staff came in and turned the experience into a used car sales experience. Dissapointing. Would have purchased if not for the condescending attitude and approach. read more

I've been going to Shawn in service for over 5 years now. He is always friendly and gives great advice. Recently I found out my RV had a defective propane tank. Shawn took care of everything and fixed my RV faster than promised. It is nice to have a reliable place to take your RV for repairs. read more

This rotten company keeps calling me for 6 weeks now twice a week trying to sell me their garbage. I have called the corporate office twice and they say I have been placed on their do not call list. Since Marcus Lemonis took over the company it has gone hill drastically. Hopefully I will sit next to him on a plane one day and give him a piece of my mind. They are more of a marketing company trying to sell garbage extended warranties. Look at their average one star reviews for that service. They also try to sell low quality towing service. Look at all the complaints people have about using that service and being stranded for many hours to days. Look up Coach Net. The best deal out there. After the first year Coach Nets price drops $40 and then another $40 the following year. You can even use it if you are a passenger in another persons vehicle. Great reviews. If you look at the positive reviews they come on the purchase. OF COURSE THAT IS GOING TO GO SMOOTH. THE REAL QUALITY OF A COMPANY COMES AFTER YOU HAVE YOUR RIG FOR A WHILE AND DEAL WITH THE WARRANTY. read more

I live in Oregon, but bought a travel trailer here because they had exactly the one I wanted, at a really good price. The whole process of the out-of-state purchase got pretty complicated and was slow, with new rules popping up around every corner. (One star deducted for that; it would've been nice to just get all the facts up front from the manager or whomever handles that aspect of things. That would've reduced frustration, and also enabled me to make a quicker, more informed decision from among the various options.) However, I have to give a five-star shout out to the salesperson who was helping me--Ezequiel Rodriguez. He has the patience of a saint, and also uncomplainingly put in a ton of effort--including even on his day off. Also, whenever a new challenge would come up, he say "Hey, no problem--I'm getting to learn something new!" which I thought was a really great attitude, and made him a pleasure to work with. read more
