After our first trip with our new Silverlake there were a few minor issues. Got an appointment right away and all the issues was repaired the same day. I forgot to show them the window blind but that was fixed as well by the technician. These folks are excellent, friendly and effective. Camping World has the worst service bar none! Had a simple oil change done on my Motorcoach generator and the stripped out the plug and the proceeded to ruin the oil. After 6 months still I'm still trying to get them to fix it. As for the Marcus Lemonis "if you aren't happy, I'm not happy" help line its a joke. You can't get any one of importance at Camping World to help! I would think twice before doing business with this company! My daughter's and I hadn't ever seen the inside of an RV. We stopped by Camping World because it was close to our hotel. I would've given more than 3 stars. But I didn't appreciate the judgements of one of the sales associates about us having a family Spring Break vacation in Ft. Worth. We reside in Allen. There are many things in Ft. Worth we hadn't experienced, so we thought it would be great to go to Ft. Worth and experience new things. Plus as an educator on a budget, I have to find family friendly affordable vacations. After going to Camping World my daughter's now want to try camping in an RV, so I'll look for camping site rentals. My kids enjoyed our trip to Ft. Worth. I noticed that Camping World came back and said please contact us. We strive to do better. I have a list as long as my arm for every single time I have contacted them with the problem and I always get the same results. NOTHING!!! They want to try to look at on yelp when they get a bad review the truth is stay away from that place. I'd rather have the plague than to EVER WALK INTO ANOTHER CAMPING WORLD! But if you're totally into abuse being lied to and ripped off, feel free to go to Camping World. If you want a decent RV for a good price and deal with honest people, they're not gonna lie their butt off and sandbag your loan which they did for the tune of $16,000 and purposely left out gap insurance. They do not care about the product once they have their money you become dead to them. They just do not care. Absolutely pathetic! We ordered roofing membrane for a camper restoration, paying quite a bit more than we would have from an online seller in order to get it faster. Apparently, when one person is out, the whole department is helpless. It's hard to believe in this day & age they have to rely on one person to place, track and then locate an order. We finally got it, much later than promised and paying substantially more than had we ordered online. We also discovered their markup is nearly 100%. Every time I've called, no one answers and i get transferred to a National call center, who then try to connect me to the store:department I called for. Then they still don't answer and don't return calls. We finally had to go to the store to see what was up. The person at the parts/service counter had no clue. When I expressed my frustration, the guy pretty much said it wasn't his problem. We finally had to track down someone in management, who, after telling us they didn't have our order went and looked. Recently bought used 29 foot RV for my sister. Sales rep. T.J. Weber did an outstanding job in showing us RVs. He was very knowledgeable ,professional, and personable. On top of this, he demonstrated extreme patience and sincere concern for my sister when she returned the day after sale to show her various units to make her feel confident in the trailer and deal we had already agreed upon. And it is a great trailer and good deal. I was the one who paid for it and so more appropriate for me to assess. so just all the more impressive that TJ took the time to put her mind at ease, fulling realizing he did not have to do that with her. Great experience! I don't have the need to go to Camping World much these day - not like I did the first few years of RVing. But I'm glad there are there. My RV refrigerator seems to freeze items on the top shelf and I fear it's because we have it stuffed with too much food. We've already fiddled with the cool control to no avail. So today, I bought a small battery powered fan that sets inside the refrigerator to circulate the air continuously. Hopeful that it's my fix. To whom it may concern, we just bought a nice RV 27 foot at Camping World in Lake Worth Texas of Quebec street. The day we bought we went on a trip to Florida for a week. Things fell apart apart in the camper like the bedroom door, USB ports didn't work, door to shower doesn't lock and a couple of little things. We bought it back on week 2 that we have had it. And now has been in one month and 2 days in the shop and ave left messages for the store manager and shop manager and no call back. The last time my wife called the shop manager he was very rude. First contact with your customers could be by phone which mine was. Based on my interaction with service I'd never bring my RV here. I didn't want to mess with installing my Reese M5 so called to get a quote. There are 4 pieces, there are 6 bolts, and 2 nuts with spring clips... they quoted me $750-$1000 to install. 4 hours for that? I'll take my business elsewhere. Customer service is awful. I was with a couple who wanted to buy two rv recliners. We looked at them for over 15 minutes and no one offered to assist us. The gentlemen I was with haD just had back surgery and was using a walker. We had to go look for someone to help us. It was a guy that could see us the whole time we wete looking. This is a follow up to the previous post I made about a faulty propane regulator that Camping World, Fort Worth gave me for a supposed warranty issue. Read the previous post for more details. I had a lot of problems with the exchanged regulator and tried to get a replacement covered under warranty, which it should have been. They told me my year warranty was up since I bought the trailer in August 2022. Little did they seem to not know, it was not until about the following March that I got this worthless regulator I have now. They want me to buy another regulator now. I didn't even want to exchange the original one that had NO problems. I'll buy it from them so I can make sure it's the correct one. However, this will be my last transaction with them because I'm done shopping with them! I don't feel any customer loyalty! I don't know them from Adam. Next time it won't be them getting my money! My first experience with a rv dealership, did not go well, looked at some campers at camping world, decided on 1, told them how much I can put down, got the paper work to sign ​, the down payment was higher then I had said I could put down, and the payments a mth were higher then they stated that I would paying a mth, they did not show me anything about the trailer that worked prior to the paper work. Worst RV store/shop/service center experiences ever. Jorge and the service/parts counter are useless and unresponsive - in the store and follow up. Repeated v/e-mails NEVER returned. Seems consistent from other reviewers. Starting in April, I enquired about a part with Jorge. After not getting any return calls or e-mails, I went to Camping World and ordered the part, from Jorge. After 6 weeks I called, left several messages (all un-returned) and then after once again going to the store, found the part was at the store, had been for 3 weeks, and they had no indication where I had paid for it. Young blond female in black shirt was as much help as Jorge, so I'm assuming your training program is working well. What I just described concluded yesterday with my initial review. I called 3-15-23 and I talked to Tessa and she made an appointment with us and she talked to GM and made an appointment to have our motorhome appraised for the auto registration to get tags. She told me that the GM told her it would be $150. We had our appointment at 2 PM on 3-16-23 and we arrive 10 minutes early and was waited on very promptly by Tessa. And we were immediately welcomed by Jeff I believe he said sales manager. All the salesman there were amazing. Also we had our three-year-old granddaughter with us. She was there for over three hours and they entertained her helped her and we were there during the hail storm, which was even more amazing but scary. Joey the tech in the shop was also very good and very nice to Ricky. He explained a lot of stuff to Ricky helped him. At the end when we were ready to pay Tessa came over and explained everything to us gave me the appraisal paperwork that was finished and told me that I needed to go to the service to pay my $150. I went over there and one gentleman which I'm sorry I did not get his name. He said that he couldn't fix the invoice because he tried to charge me $250 and said that we were missed quoted and there shop rate was $180 a hour and I said well I'm happy to pay what I was quoted which was $150 and he says well I can't change the paperwork and I can't give you a receipt for that and I said OK so nobody else here can fix it so he said well I'll be right back I will get there shop manager I said OK thank you! My husband was giving him his drivers license because he didn't have us in there even though we're Sam Goody customers and he said well you need to give us credit authorization for your credit card and I said well we don't want to do credit card we want to pay cash he says well I can't give you a receipt for that. I said well I've got to have this paperwork to give to the auto registration and Alex he's a service manager. He said well I would've just rip that paperwork up because I don't know what kind of stuff you're trying to pull here we wasn't trying to pull anything we were trying to pay what we were told. Alex also told me he was gonna call auto registration on me. I have never been talked to like that in a place of business ever. I would never use that service center as long as he's the shop manager. Bought an rv here went to trade in a year later they low balled me and when telling me things wrong with it they told me awning didn't roll out even... I have never had a problem with the awnings so told them I'd like to see that.. we went out and it worked fine but they refused to take it off the defective list that need fixed despite it working correctly when I was there to whiteness it. I hooked back up to the rv and left I would never do business here and strongly advise you not to either. read more

We took our RV to Camping World Fort Worth to have the slide awning material replaced. We were told the parts needed would cost $1,100 and it would take 6 months wait time for the parts to arrive. We were able to locate exactly what was needed to make the repair for a little over $100, via a major online retail outlet, and it was delivered the next day. That is a 1000% markup by Camping World for parts alone! We were told it would be an additional 6-8 weeks for the repair to be done once parts came in, plus we would also have to pay for labor to have it fixed. We were able to replace the awning material ourselves in about an hour. We would not have been able to use our RV for 8 months if we had used Camping World for the repair. Also, while they had our RV, it sat in the FIRE LANE just outside the gate of Camping World for 3 weeks while we were waiting for them to evaluate our repair. That's right, Camping World illegally parked our rig in a fire lane for 3 weeks! Irresponsible, overpriced and poor service. We have since been using a very reputable mobile RV service. Do your research and find a better alternative than Camping World! read more

I bought a 5th wheel and was happy with the deal. I found somethings wrong with the unit and I reported it to the service department. Katelyn my service representative had the unit checked and requested repair authorization from Keystone the parent company of Dutchmen RV. Keystone denied the repairs saying the unit was delivered in November and they didn't report anything. Katelyn advised me and referred me to Alex the service manager. I advised Alex of the problem and he contacted the Sales Manager who authorized the repairs. Alex and Katelyn went out of their way to get me taken care of. I'm happy with Camping World but disappointed with the quality of the unit from Dutchman. read more

I would never recommend anyone go to Camping World to buy a camper. The salesman either didn't know what he was talking about or lied to get me to drive to their store when he told me my ATV would fit in their Toy Hauler. Then after settling on a price they were going to force me to pay an additional $1,000 just for propane tanks and a battery (couldn't remove it). I decided to sleep on it and put down a refundable $1,000 check deposit. The next day I decided I didn't like how I was treated and let them know I didn't want the camper and they couldn't tell me what was going to happen to my check. Multiple emails to the sales manager and corporate office with zero response after multiple weeks. Have since talked to others that say they have had similar experiences.
