Let, me start by saying never purchase a camper from Camping World, in Greenville, NC. In September of 2025 we went there to purchase a brand new camper, our salesman was helpful and pleasant. after choosing the camper we wanted, that is when the trouble began. After the General Manager apologized and worked with us we purchased a brand new 2024 fifth wheel camper. When we got it home and hooked it up at our job sight we quickly realized that the fridge was not working. They sent out technicians 3 times to our location, but never could fix the problem. Side, note I purchased all the extra warranties. I asked why can't they just replace it, they gave me a thousand run around excuses. Fast forward to June, the fridge still not working and we want to take it to the beach, they tell us we have to bring it in and they will contact the warranty company to replace the fridge. I dropped it off on a Tues. I call on Friday and they tell me my slide isn't working, which we have had no problems with. They said they have to call the warranty company get it approved to order parts. 2 weeks later my husband goes up there, not happy, wants a replacement fridge and the camper we are taking it somewhere else. Then by some miracle they tell my husband, the slide is working again and they have a fridge on the floor that can be put in our camper, my husband sat there for 3.5 hours. So, they are a bunch of liars or warranty schemers, who didn't even look at our camper till we showed up in person or they were going to pocket the warranty money to fix something that wasn't even broken. A few months ago, my wife and I purchased an RV. We are both active-duty military, and while I am currently deployed, my wife uses the RV for her TDY assignments. Recently, we've encountered several issues with the RV, including a non-functioning water heater, an inoperative radio, and two TVs that are not working. In addition, the RV was due for an oil change and needed new windshield wipers. Given her upcoming TDY to Fort McCoy in September, I advised my wife to drop off the RV a month in advance to allow ample time for a full inspection and necessary repairs. Unfortunately, when she picked up the RV yesterday, the only services that had been completed were the oil change and wiper replacement. We find this level of service unacceptable, especially considering that we purchased a service plan with the dealership. At this point, we are seriously considering taking our RV to another RV World service department or canceling the service plan altogether and seeking support from a different company. read more

Unfortunately, the Camping World in Greenville has no respect for their customers after they make the sale. I tried to pick up the RV, drove 3 hours (1.5 each way) to come get it back in February just to get turned away and told it wasn't ready. Their "walkthrough" consisted of 5 minutes by a guy who rushed through it because "it was past his time to clock out." The saleswoman who sold us the RV was very sweet but unfortunately, once they make the sale, you no longer matter to them. When I did pick the RV up, the sway system still wasn't installed, but they let me drive it off the lot anyway. They then told us that they would be sending a service technician to come install the system. Surprise, surprise, that didn't happen and another excuse from CW. Their GM Jim Foskey even had the audacity to tell me they stored my RV on the lot for me as if they were doing me this huge favor when in reality, we tried to pick it up and were told to come back. And yet for some reason they still keep trying to put the blame on me when they repeatedly have made me feel unappreciated as a customer. It has been a huge nightmare working with them. Buying an RV should be a fun and exciting time not tears and a headache. read more

I'm a full time RVer X 2 years. While dealing with blatant dishonesty at the Garner, NC store about an RV, this location initially seemed more responsive, but the experience quickly fell apart. After finding a model in Garner, I found the same model in Greenville, but a 2025 instead of 2026. I was asked to place a deposit to hold a clearance RV, then spent days waiting for promised pricing details that never materialized. Sales staff were polite but unable to deliver clear, complete information. The process stalled entirely, and I ultimately walked away due to lack of follow-through. The Sales Manager did do a great job of reassuring me that Garner's Camping World sales tactics were bad service and that their management was fairly new to the RV industry. read more

Drove 1 1/2 hours to Shop for a travel trailer. We parked a long way from the entrance because we didn't know where it was. We got to the check in desk and didn't have our ID it was in the truck, they would not check us in without it. I guess they don't need to sale any campers. I drove an hour and half for a 10 o'clock appt. to have Sealtech leak testing performed as I had a leak at the front left and no one has been able to find it. I was told it would take a couple of hours. At 1 o'clock I checked with the service guy and he told me they had just started working on it. Later I was told I had leaks around the door and windows but the windshield was okay. I told them to go ahead and take care of the door and window. It was after 4:30 when I checked out. Upon walking into the RV I realized the leak could not have been from the door or window since they were BELOW where the water was coming in from the outside. I've never known water to flow up. So I still do not have an answer for my problem. I was there from 9:30 to 4:45. I make it a point to not drive at night but I had to drive for an hour in the dark on a two lane road. I still call manager periodically about the dents in my refrigerator made when THEY put the slide out I. And the refrigerator hit a container on the floor & put 2 dents in my refrigerator. Camping World has no intention of making this right. They SAY they do, but NOTHING is ever done. So, I bought a NEW Montana 5th wheel with 2 dents I. My new residential refrigerator. This wa my 4th and LAST item I'll ever buy from this place. The PROMISED to make it right, but their promises obviously mean NOTHING. My recommendation? NEVER BUY FROM CAMPING WORLD. we had a very pleasant experience here. We made an appt to have some maintenance done on our 5th Wheel. David in service was very helpful and thorough, he reviewed the items we wanted looked at, gave us realistic estimates on labor costs and delivery times. While we waited for the intake to be complete Kahlil from Sales walked us around to show us some possible options for our future planning. Both were very knowledgeable and helpful. The entire staff from the time we walked in, to the time we left were pleasant and friendly. In today's day and age ordering parts just takes a while, this goes for every industry. read more

My wife and I purchased our hideaway camper in November of 23. The brake controller has not worked since we left the store. After several times trying to get it fixed its broke again. I have missed Three days of work and driven to Greenville Many times to get this fixed. If I could give zero stars I would. My camper was in an accident while it was being transported to us after our move across the country. We purchased it from a Camping World in CO and figured that is where we should take it to have the necessary repairs made. That was a HUGE mistake. Our camper has been at Camping World of Greenville for 3 months while I am waiting on a service advisor to write a supplemental damage report to cover a protective paint coating that needs to be reapplied after the repairs are completed. The initial repairs were completed in a timely manner but I have now been waiting 6 weeks for this one document to submit to insurance so that it can be approved and applied. I have called at least once a week to speak to the service manager, Meisha, with ZERO returned phone calls. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAMPER HERE FOR SERVICE. Called a couple months ago to see if they fill permanently mounted RV propane tanks, some kid tried to tell me they have to replace them to fill them, I figured he was just new and didn't have a clue and went to a different camping work on Hwy 64 and had them filled. Even that store said GV was a joke. Fast forward 2 months and I am back in Greenville and hadn't run across a place to have it refilled so I decided to go in to the store. I pull in off Evans street into their lot and there are 2 campers parked blocking the driveway, I am assuming for repair as they were not hooked to a vehicle. So I stop, get out and talk to one of they guys about getting the tank filled and mentioned that I would probably have to BACK OUT onto an extremely busy city st. He tells me you can fit. I fit, with 3 inches to spare on either side! Had I been any longer 30ft(class c) there is no way I would have made it. That's just not right! On top of that once I confirmed they could fill the tank he said pull up to the door and I will have someone come get your camper! Um, I have seen the people that work at this store, I have talked to an incompetent employee(the telling me I had to replace the tank to fill it) have seen how they treat campers on the lot(no leveling what so ever) and even tried to purchase one from them at one point and walked out because the lady couldn't get the master keys to work properly and would turn the lock partially and them yank them as hard as she could to get it to open and they were just COMPLETELY unprofessional and now you want me to let them not only in but drive MY HOME, heck no!!! Do yourself a favor if you need propane just go to Tractor Supply, they will let you back in and even guide you if need be and be happy to do so even for just a $26 sale. I spent $275 on parts(new power cord, an adapter, some drawer latches and a few other misc items), that I would have spent at Camping world and also booked an appointment to have my Bigfoot system bled at their competitor today and they could have charged me triple and I would have paid it just to not have to deal with camping world ever again!!! read more

Worse experience ever...bought a NEW heartland Mallard July 23' and have had nothing but problems...been in for repairs 5 times and they have it there now for 5 wks...I purchased extended warranty and go in this time bc roof id leaking...only to be told warranty doesn't cover water leakage. WHAT???!!!??? What the hell...so my saleswoman tells me to write everything down that has been wrong...she then says "I got you" she ask my wife and I about floor plans we are looking for...takes us out on the lot and we find one perfect that we like...this camper was new and we stated it didn't have to be new just some like it and that works when we take it camping..I explained we were not putting anymore money down or paying more in payments...we already have over $8000 in the Mallard..."I understand" the next day Mr arrogant ass Ron the manager calls and ask if im willing to pay $50-$60 more a month in payment...NO!!! I already told J no...they offered a 2011 which is ridiculous when our Mallard is a 22'...all and all they haven't done a damn thing and they still have it now...just got a "text" a couple days ago that said he's going on vacation "the service guy" and wouldn't be back til the 14th. Freaking unbelievable !!!! Stay away from this big name Camping World !! Once u buy a camper ur nothing to them...its not just this location either...ive spoken with another location that I told the whole story and was promised a call back the next day and acwk and a half later...nothing !!! if I could rate this place a zero star I would. nothing but a bunch of crooks. upper management on the "front end" don't give a rip about their customers...just their money. we bought a fifth wheel on a monday. as we are doing paperwork, I asked for like the 3rd time when I should let them see our trade in. he told me to go get it and bring it there (as we are signing paperwork for our new fifth wheel). I drop it off and my wife finishes signing the documents she needed to sign. They say they'll have someone take it back and verify it. We scheduled to pick our new one up 3 days later on Thursday afternoon. I called the next day (Tuesday) to verify my trade had been looked at because I have bought a lot of vehicles and equipment and never not had my trade looked at and I had heard horror stories of camping world pulling BS in the past. I was called back 2 minutes later and told everything was good to go and they'd see me Thursday. I pulled in at 3 on thursday thinking I was picking up our new fifth wheel and doing a walk through and instead they then decided to tell me something was wrong with my trade in. Proceeded to tell me they werent gonna give me the $16k for trade in and instead MAY give me $8k and it was up to me for the rest. Needless to say I lost my mind in the store. they pretty much blamed me. Then asked how I wanted to make up the difference. I asked to talk to the GM. He was cool at first. We ended up getting screwed by them taking $2k more dollars from us and then adding the $6k to our principle but giving us 3/4% off our interest rate. Which was now over 1 point lower than the first set of numbers they gave us. We finally just decided we wanted it and dealt with it. then when I went to hook up, the hitch they told me to install on Monday wasn't going to work on it. Pissed me off even more. So the next day I didn't like how it was pulling to our camp site and order the right hitch pin so I could use my slider hitch I installed. Cost me $584. Then another $500 to install. We found things wrong with the camper like AC filters completely clogged, loose screws in the stairs...docking lights half working on the front. Then when I went to dump our sewer...nothing but brown water and clumps came out both pipes and we don't poop in our camper when we go to this camp ground. So they didn't even empty or clean it out. After our trip I called the GM and informed him of all this and he told me he would reimburse me for the hitch pin I bought and pay for the install, and get the lights and stuff that weren't working replaced. Well before I talked to him finally 2 days later I had made some tiktok videos about our experience and they blew up. Millions of views...hundreds of thousands of likes and comments. 90+% of the people had bad experiences with camping world that commented. Fast forward 2 weeks and I hadnt heard back from the GM. I tried calling but he never called back. Then the service department called and said the part was in and I told him the GM told me he would reimburse me and pay to have it put on and was suppose to get lights. service guy said he would have him call me to set it up. Never called. A week later I just came into the store after calling almost every day and him not calling me back. He finally brought me in to talk and proceeded to tell me how my TikTok videos were bull crap and I..not them..but I was affecting peoples jobs who work there. He said he didn't want to help me anymore and why would he? As if I was the one who did something wrong. That he had 51 employees and I was going after them too. I said..no..I'm not the one doing that..yall are by treating your customers this way. Dude never once took responsibility for anything. I said we were the ones who got screwed. You Got every freaking thing you wanted. At the ended he told me to give him to Monday (2 days) and he would let me know. Well he didn't...haven't heard from him since. They're trash. Corporate and franchise failures!Staff associates (Jordan and his partner) were doing best they could. 20 other associates walking around seemed to care less that a client sat in the waiting area for hours on end. So long I had to have food delivered! Another $50! Refrigerator replacement turned into complete cluster buck! They sold me an apparently compatible domestic RV refrigerator and said 3 to 4 hour job. I was there 8 hours. At three hours they said they need to remove the entry door frame to get old on out. Two hours extra labor fee at $185/hour! Then at 4 hours they said they have to remove a window to get the new one in. It's the second refrigerator remand BBEdit of thus needed to occur before. Then at 6 hours they tell me they think they have it figured out! The replacement is too big so they are installing something else without asking me. They didn't come ask just doing it. I have no idea the quality or comparability of what they are installing. I know the two guys working my RV we're doing the best they could but the franchise and corporate failed them in how to deal with a deteriorating, one bad thing leading to another; situation. The customer ( ne( was suffering badly with my elderly dog in a desk chair going on 8 hours with communication only every two hours at best. After the expected 4 hours customers need far more to understand what is going on. I had little idea what the solution was except I was getting a refrigerator I knew nothing about. At the end of 7 hours I got a small refund as the newly installed refrigerator was less expensive. I was told go outside the RV would be out front. After about 45 minutes later in the sun and two inquiries inside the RV finally showed up. Ugh. Another communication failure. By this point I just wanted to get on my 2+ hour ride home before dark. I was so cross-eyed mad and exhausted that I couldn't have even made a decision after looking at the installations d trying to inspect the removed door frame and window. This is a corporate communication training of their associates and customers failure. I'm sure all the folks coming in to buy RV's that sat with me we're not impressed. read more

March 2023, I traded my 2021 Passport for a 2021 Keystone Unlimited Sprinter 40ft 5th wheel. I later learned I had purchased a 2020 Keystone Sprinter from the manufacturer. If I had known it was a 2020 I would have NOT traded my Passport in. Once it was discovered the year was wrong it cost extra money on the insurance as well as the warranty. I can not blame the Salesman that I was dealing with, he also was shocked to find out that the year was wrong. I blame Ron, ( I think he is the sales manager at the Camping World in Greenville, NC.) I recently wrote to Marcus Lemonis, CEO of Camping World. I have not heard back from him. All I want is for them to VOID the deal & give me back the value they gave me on my trade in since they have sold it. BEWARE! BUY YOUR RV ANYWHERE BUT HERE! ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY BEWARE!! If I could leave 0 stars I would. We went in this past Saturday and purchased a 2021 Hideout. We were first time buyers and did not know too much about pricing on campers. The price that they sold the camper to us for was about 10k more expensive than ANY OTHER PLACE as you can see in the pictures below! We could have purchased a camper literally from FL and had it shipped in for cheaper!!. When we found this out we called the store to see if they would make it right with us as we put TWELVE THOUSAND DOLLARS DOWN and the manager said " a deal is a deal there is nothing we are going to do now" Needless to say my husband is sick over this and will be having a meeting with his Commander to get this location black listed! The commander wants to let all military members know that this location will take you for a ride on their prices and claim they have "no wiggle room" and lie about other places not having "the same one" "on the lot" etc. what a mess! We were so excited about this and it was supposed to be a joyous time in our lives that has now been completely ruined by Camping World of Greenville. We are disgusted and absolutely shocked that they would take advantage of a young military couple this way and ANYONE for that matter! Take your business elsewhere this place is full of crooks. What a miserable place to shop as a customer this evening. Walk in, maybe 3 customers there. Lots of staff standing/walking around but no one greets you or asks if they can help. The absolute worst part was the unprofessional nasty employee Tabitha P. She saw me standing at checkout waiting to make a purchase but continued to have a conversation with a customer. After literally 5 minutes standing at the register with absolutely no one saying anything to us I turned to the employee at the "welcome desk" (what a joke) and asked her was there anyone who could check us out. That's when Tabitha who ignored us at checkout yells over she could check us out after she finishes having her conversation with her customer. Horrible Customer Service!!!! She actually said to us she did not want to be rude to her customer and stop their conversation to check us out. I couldn't believe my ears! So no one is in the business of running the register at this place???Then as she eventually checks us out she looks at me and says "Tabitha Powers". I never even asked her name!! She was so snarky like egging me on to report her. So here I am. I can even remember the last time I had to leave a negative review on a business. Once they sell u a camper they don't care about your service anymore. they sold me a camper with numerous things broken and faulted and it's been weeks without any real update in when they are gonna fix any of my issues. they call you and text you repeatedly to sell you a camper but once you need issues and repairs resolved it's obviously not that important to them. read more

When my son came home so excited to tell me about his new purchase of a camper I was excited for him. However, what his experience was with this dealership was anything but perfect. Taking advantage of his inexperience in large purchases (he's 22) they didn't do as they had said they would do and he had driven 4 hours to pick it up. It wasn't cleaned as promised and was filthy with dog hair. One of the reasons he bought it was that it was promised that cleaning would have been done thoroughly. It wasn't. Then they wanted to try to sell him extra bogus parts that he didn't even need or require for the operation of this. I just think if that's the only way you can make money is to bamboozle innocent young people and take advantage then shame on you. I can only hope that someone does the same or worse to you and your families. It's inexcusable. Bad business and most of all you take a kids dream and turn it into a nightmare. After reading the other online reviews I'm not surprised and to think that people still allowed to operate business in such an unethical manner is beyond me. I had them install my fifth wheel hitch during delivery of my new unit. During the install they were required to install the fifth wheel rails since my truck did not have the puck system from the manufacturer. Fast forward to the next day, I am 4 hours from home and my hitch doesn't seem right. I hop under my truck and every single bolt was loose to the touch. It's amazing my family and I are still alive after driving 4 hours with a 13k pound camper. Total negligence on the dealer. Now we are 4 days later and I'm still waiting for a call from the GM. While our new to us 2021 3761fl Montana was delivered today. Have to say something good about camping world. We purchased our last camper from camping world in Raleigh, Nc. When we started looking for another one we were not even considering camping world because of the issues we had with them. While couldn't find what we wanted anyplace other then camping world. This time in Greenville, Nc. So off to camping world again we went. Expecting the same treatment as Raleigh. What a surprise it was. From the fist visit with salesman Andrew and manager Ron. End result working with them found what we wanted. It was transferred to their store. Once it arrived I told them what I wanted done before I came to do the PDI told them make sure their people went over it with a fine tooth comb. Because that's what I would do when I did the PDI. Told them prior to pdi i wanted bearings repacked, brake pads checked, tires inspected, roof washed and uv protected applied and check batteries. To my surprise when I arrived to do PDI all was done. Not only checked bearings but installed new ones. Also installed 2 new batteries. Roof taken care of. Tanks flushed, water system sanitized. Me and two techs sorry don't have their names went through the unit took 2 1/2 hrs for pdi. Surprised only very minor items found and taken care of. Old unit picked up great guy. New unit delivered great guy. He delivered made sure unit was level and everything connected. Camping world Greenville, Nc great experience so far. read more

Most dishonest sales/finance team I've ever had to deal with. Telling me over and over that the dry weight is what you go by when buying a camper -- not the GVWR which your is your car's towing capacity. I kept insisting that I 'thought' adding all the items inside the camper and car would add up fast, but they said, Oh no, you won't add that much. (The camper was 2919 dry weight and my car tows 3500 tops.) But that's on me. On top of this, they were 'fighting' with the Raleigh location to get the camper transferred to Greenville for over an hour, and asked me to call Good Sam's RV Insurance while I wait -- the guy on the phone even said, Want to give me a payment? Why would I do that if I don't even the camper yet?? While waiting outside, this couple in the parking lot says, Please don't buy from here -- they aren't honest and tried to rip us off. Go read the reviews. So I ended up backing out. I blame myself for even going knowing the GVWR of my car, but my gosh, the out and out dishonesty floored me. We ordered 3-year-warranteed TaylorMade pontoon boat seats which arrived damaged, due to sloppy packing and shipping. So where do I even start on this crap show of a place imagine you put $20000 down on a 80k 5th wheel camper and they had 2-3 weeks after our first walk though to get it together or at least clean the thing and they did none of the above so they deliver it and the first night I have to dump the tanks and find out one of the valves leak so I get covered in grey tank water and they never cleaned it out and so they pick it up again and clean it out and they do a crappy job of that and maybe fixed 2 things so now we've had it 2 months and no idea on when our parts are gonna be here and they're dodging me asking them I have no idea that's how this place does business but I'd stay away from here you'd have better luck buying a camper from some dude off Craigslist then this place read more

I have never had an experience such as this!!! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE!!! Items in the store are doubled in price. You will get the runaround, you will not get any phone calls on the status of anything unless you initiate it. Salesman sucked! Never even said thank you for your business, no follow up phone calls. Bought a brand new 2021 Travel Trailer. During the walk thru the slide seal came out. That ended the walk thru. They agreed to fix it and deliver. Weeks went by. Had to call twice to get the status. Talked to Gen manager twice, nothing but excuses. He agreed to make sure camper was fixed and in good shape before it was delivered. Well, that was a lie! Camper was delivered with trash inside along with nail gun nails everywhere!! Called GM again, he agreed to send someone the next day to clean up. then got a call from Matt (Service manager) He sent someone within the hour. He was the only one that was willing to help! He asked me to check everything to make sure everything worked. So I did, speakers didn't work, bathroom vent cover was cracked, hot water heater plug was corroded to the point, there were holes all in it, screen door wouldn't latch. I sent pics to Matt so he could submit for warranty coverage. Camper bought the week after Thanksgiving 2021. It is now Feb 1, 2022 and nothing has been fixed. Status as of today, all replacement parts are in the store except for the speakers which they haven't gotten yet???? and I communicated the middle of Dec that the speakers didn't work. I urge anyone looking for an RV to look elsewhere. We have had nothing but a bad experience since day one. First, the sales portion was a nightmare. Between the sales person who gave us a quote and then said he was wrong on the quote to the next person who gave us a quote of almost 20,000.00 dollars more to the sales manager then coming with another 1,500.00 higher than the 20,000.00!!! We left. The next day a finance manager (Luke) called us. We had not dealt with him previously. He talked to us and told us if we only dealt with him would we still be interested in buying the RV? We were hesitant but decided to. Let me say Luke should run the dealership! The rest of them are horrible. We bought our very expensive RV. We had it delivered to our location. When we got there the AC did not work. A brand new RV. They sent someone to fix it. After a couple more months the door lock would automatically lock me out. Literally I was locked out twice. Went and had a key made and have had to use it many times. Not that big of a deal right? Well, try being locked in your camper!!! I couldn't get out. I literally had to go out the emergency window. Unacceptable. I have called them many times trying to get this fixed. Then our back wash area was leaking. We called them. They asked us to bring our rv in. We can't bring it in as we live in it right now while building a house. They sent a tech. He accessed the problem. Called th shop and told them what he needed. They were suppose to set a time to come within the next week. This is August. We never hear from them. We call again. They have no record that a tech came out or anything saying they ordered anything. We keep trying for weeks to get them to get what is needed to fix the door and the leak. We hear nothing. We call. They still have no idea what we are calling for! They ask us to send pictures. We do. In the meantime where it leaked it also sagged the underneath covering. It's now October. After much demanding, yelling and so forth they said they ordered the parts. They said a tech would to fix it on Thursday October 29. I asked for a time they said they couldn't give me a time I told them how very important it is for me to a e a time as I will be in a closing that day. They said the best they could do is give me a 2 hour notice. Of course they didn't. Of course they showed up while I was at the attorneys office. Left a message while I was In there. He left. We are still stuck with nothing fixed. When asked when they could come back the service rep Tyler said that was above his pay grade. Tanner the Service manager would have to call us. Yeah right. They literally are useless. Don't return phone calls and don't do one thing they say they will. I am here to give you the heads up. There are so many other places with integrity. Go there. At first, my opinion of the camping world in Greenville was positive. The sales guy was super helpful and nice. The finance guy was awesome too. But now 2 months later, my opinion has completely changed. And I'm so frustrated and angry. We bought a brand new 2022 aspen trail Dutchmen from them. And over the last 2 months several issues have come to light. We've only used the camper two weekends and other than that it's been in storage. There were two small issues before we even drove it off their lot which they said they documented. Some of the wall paneling was bowing near the door, which was fine. They "fixed" it on the spot. Before we even got home, the nails had popped again. And the stove. Which the woman who works there mentioned the lights weren't working right on the stove handles and she would order a new stove to be put it at the 60 day mark. No biggie, we figured we would get it all taken care of at our 60 day evaluation/check in. Then the board above one of the windows fell off when traveling, and the fridge lock won't work and a drawer flew out when moving and broke. And finally, one day it was raining and all of a sudden water comes gushing in from behind the microwave and window. The vent on the outside wasn't sealed properly. I have videos of those leaks. My husband could have fixed all these things but the guy at camping world told us NOT to do any repairs ourselves or it could potentially void the warranty. So we called about the active leak. The woman on the phone (who turned out to be a manager) was extremely rude! We asked if we could bring it in (which they had told us to do if there were any major problems), she said they didn't have an opening for another month. Meanwhile water is flooding in our camper. So my husband insisted that there would be a lot more damage from the rain, and she finally said ok bring it in. But she blatantly said to my husband "we're busy and this is a huge inconvenience". Like our camper flooding wasn't?! Greenville is almost 2 hours from us. Talk about an inconvenience! That woman needs some more training on how to talk to customers. She was just rude and hateful honestly. So we take it in that day. They keep the camper and we were scheduled to pick it back up today. Well come to find out they are charging us $170 because they ran a "diagnostic" and the stove works and the microwave works. We had mentioned the microwave because after the water was flooding in behind it, it wouldn't work. She literally told my husband they hit the button and the microwave worked. Well it didn't right after the leak, maybe it dried up? I don't know, and I don't care. That's not our fault and who charges 80 bucks to hit a button?!? Then they said it was another 80 bucks because the stove was fine. Dude, camping world is the one who said it would be replaced, not us!! And the stuff that was fixed was messy/looked like crap and there was nails and stuff left in the camper. This is what their "warranty" is about. They boast the best 3 year warranty around, but it's crap. I shouldn't be dealing with issues on a brand new camper. I'm ok that issues arose, but they won't fix them or they are charging us to have them fixed. Honestly, the customer service at this place has been a nightmare, especially in the services department. Not only do I not recommend them, I would tell you to run! Go somewhere else. They lack professional courtesy. This is a large purchase, and they obviously don't take it seriously. read more
