The customer service team at checkout are so incredibly rude and unhelpful. I watched another interaction before mine and basically they are not empowered to make decisions by themselves and talk about the "difficult" customers to each other. It is enough to make me never shop at a camping world again. Kindness costs nothing. The young people I encountered need a lesson in kindness and empathy and to realize someone's day may be going just a little bit worse than theirs. bought a camper from them and an inspection was "done" top to bottom got the camper set up and within 24 hours washer and dryer was broke, outside sink leaked, 4 out of 6 auto leveling jacks seals were blown and lines were leaking, 1 week after set up both rear and front a/c quit working, had for one month found out seals were busted on top of camper and the back of camper WHOLE BACK OF CAMPER WALL IS ROTTED OUT. This is by far the worst establishment to buy even a simple part from. Customer service is the absolute worst you will ever encounter. If you are greeted by Abby, Destin (who openly admitted he doesn't like working there), or Mark Miller...RUN! Abby was especially unprofessional -- when I simply asked her job title, she snapped that it was "none of my business" and then mumbled under her breath. Destin admitted he didn't even like working there, which was no surprise based on his attitude, and Mark Miller was no better. All we were trying to do was exchange a defective part, but the entire experience turned into a headache. Communication was non-existent, staff were rude and dismissive, and there was zero accountability or effort to actually help. Instead of assisting customers, they seemed more interested in brushing us off and making excuses. If they treat customers this poorly over something as simple as a part, I can't imagine how badly they handle something as major as purchasing a camper. If you want your camper to work properly, never bring it here... 4 months of "repairs ". Take the camper out and set it up. water leaking everywhere. The water system was never in need of repairs. but during the 4 months of "repairs" someone took the wood panels out from under our bed(did not fasten the panel back after they did whatever, just left the screws on the floor... now i cannot use water and to top it off my furnace doesn't work... 2022 mallard pathfinder... absolutely trash just like this facility that sold and "repaired" it. stay as far away from here as possible!!!! read more

Buying our camper was WONDERFUL. We had it for a couple of weeks and went camping & the toilet started leaking water. One of the blinds fell . So Woodstock Camping World took it in to fix . Well they had our camper right at 3 months saying they were waiting on warranty parts . Finally we get a call ,, they fixed the toilet but ...sorry the guy broke the valance while putting the blinds up so they had to reorder everything. Well when we look inside it was dirty . The main toilet was dirty and the couch had 3 screws in it where they had been working above it . So I had them bring someone out to clean up . We also noticed that the refrigerator had a 3 inch crack on the bottom with some kind of weird plastic thing in the door. We brought that to their attention, we were told warranty will not pay for that . We told them it wasn't there when we dropped this off to you . He said "They would not pay for it " So still figuring out that one !!! Well we took the camper back home with us until they called us and today they got the parts in to fix the blind and valance. Johnathan P. told us he was getting a whole new valance and had given us the old one ( which we left at the house because we thought we were getting the whole valance.)but instead we got just the 2 pieces on the left side . We talked to the manager but he just didn't seem to care . His hands are tied . We told him that All the compartments on the camper were unlocked !!! We ask him why ?? He said " Did you ask JP? ". No . WELL NOONE SHOULD HAVE OPENED ANY COMPARTMENTS PERIOD !!! We did not give them keys and they have a Master key . That doesn't give them the right to open ANYTHING ELSE BUT THE DOOR . !!!!The reason we don't give them a key anymore is they lost ours once and had to search for it for over an hour before they found it . It was in a warranty box or something. They just don't seem to care at all . Sad . We bought a new couch that reclines to put in and they took the one that came in it out and put the new one in . Well that didn't even go right. The person gouged 3 spots on floor making it noticeable. Now they have to put new flooring just where the spots are they said . Praying on that . Full Disclosure, I bought a used "as is" RV back in September of 2023. While at the time, I liked the deal I got as well as the service. Although, I was NOT happy with the credit manager. Here's where it went sideways. Prior to purchase, I asked that the roof be resealed. I was assured it would be, and at time of purchase, I was assured it was. Well guess what boys and girls, it wasn't. Turns out I have a nasty water leak from the roof down to between the siding and the wall. It wasn't noticeable until I had some serious damage. I hired a non CW technician to repair it. What he found was that not only had the roof not been sealed, there were cuts!!! So he sealed it, and TA DA, no more leaks. In addition to this, there were a few things that Camping World deliberately hid. (I'm not absolving myself of any responsibility, however, I don't appreciate deceit) Let's revisit my experience with the credit manager. When I first saw the RV online, I wasn't sure how I was going to pay for it. I filled out the preliminary form that states quite clearly; this is a preliminary check and credit approval is not guaranteed until a full credit review. While I had that provisional approval, I contacted my bank and got approval. NEVER MET WITH THE, CREDIT MANAGER, NEVER FILLED OUT A CREDIT APPLICATION. I certainly didn't sign ANYTHING. A few weeks after the sale, I get a letter from Camping World stating that upon a full review of my credit, that my loan request was denied. Wait what? I thought to myself, I didn't fill out any loan applications. So there is a big sign in the lobby of CW stating that if you are not happy for any reason, to contact the owner of CW, So I did. about a week later, I get a call, it was from the credit manager. I missed it, so he left a message. Now one would think, the message would be somewhere along the lines of "This is so and so from CW, please call me at this phone number" Oh no, gentile readers, this "man" proceeded to leave me a nasty, very bullying voice mail about how I gave permission, and what he didn't appreciate me calling the owner, he the cm did nothing wrong. There was no way he could remove the hit from my credit report and so on. So in conclusion, I give CW minus 10 stars, do yourself a favor, do not buy from Camping World, Buford, GA. read more

My wife had been shopping for an RV trailer but decided on a Class A motorhome. Camping World of Woodstock was very helpful and I would like to brag on our salesperson, Mason Glenn, he went above and beyond our expectations showing us many models and even a test drive. Ultimately, we found our perfect RV, a small Class A, (2016 Thor Axis 25.2). Unfortunately, it was at the Chattanooga lot and on consignment so it couldn't be transferred to Woodstock. We would have loved to continue to work Mason Glenn. Our overall experience was very pleasant and I recommend Camping World and for Mason Glenn as your salesperson, he will work hard to get what you want. read more

I can't give them a zero, so the 1 rating is being generous! I would not do business with this location, other Camping World locations may provide better service. They are happy to take your money, however; that's where the service ends. 1. They didn't have my factory new 5th wheel ready on the date promised. They then told me it would be an additional 2 days to get it ready. I showed-up and had to wait 4 hours before the unit was ready. 2. There were several things remaining to be fixed even when we took delivery. The items to be fixed were identified by the Camping World staff, so it wasn't just me saying I didn't think something was working correctly. The biggest issue was the fridge didn't cool, somewhat necessary for camping, and it should have been working on an over $100K 5th wheel. For 4 months I attempted to get this resolved with the Woodstock store and they kept blowing me off. I finally contacted the Camping World CEO, and I had the items to be fixed resolved within a few days. I see others mention delays because of "warranty" items. If warranty work isn't the highest priority, they have a terrible business model. 3. Now I need assistance from the Finance office, and have called 3 times (1x week, so not excessive) each time being told someone will get back with me, but 3 weeks have gone by already. I suspect another call to the CEO is in order. You'll get great service right up to the point of completing your purchase, then they ghost you. If you decide to buy from them, maybe you will have a better experience! I set an appointment to have my oil changed in my 31ft class c and was quoted 149.99. After the work was completed I was charged 188.32. There is nothing worse than a dishonest service department !!! When I confronted them I was told I was being charged for miscellaneous shop supplies and parts, I may not be the smartest person in the world but the only parts involved were oil and a filter ( which I was charged for). Not sure how they can stay in business , they have certainly lost mine. read more

Stopped on the way east for a toilet repair. I was sold on a replacement instead, which is fine of course. They were able to get the install done and me on the road in the same day. For that, I was grateful. We get home In Atlanta, and winterize the rig. Fast forward to this season, pressurize the system and find a small drip from the inlet behind the toilet. No big deal, right? you would think that given the opportunity, they would honor the simple words of the salesperson "Any problems, just roll into any camping world, and we have you covered!" So, I contact them, they contact the closest one to me here in Woodstock and then they refuse to even have it looked at! They wanted to charge me to put eyes on their mistake! Now 8 days later I get a call to pick up unit. Appt was set at 1pm. At 205 I went to General Manager whose defense was "I don't know what to say". I said where is the Rv? He says they are putting fuel into. I said, not only did you have 8 days to put fuel in it, your service dept told me an hour ago they were putting fuel in it. So why did they lie? I bought a pre-owned travel trailer at the end of august '23. My experience overall was good. Hunter W was my sales person. He was very responsive-got me the information I needed in a timely manner and was over all easy to deal with. I drove from NC to pick up the trailer after a couple weeks waiting to get it. The trailer was not really clean when I picked it up. Cob webs, old sewage hose in the bumper, and roof was dirty. Most of everything else was clean. It seemed like they rushed through it. There were a couple of things broken that were not pictured. Overall though, it was a well kept trailer and that's what I was looking at. Again it was pre owned...just seems like they would have gotten the previous septic hose out before the next person... You can tell that it is a large corporation. Any money questions I had....had to go through the manager. So I'd be sitting there waiting instead of having quick responses. I felt like I knew more about the trailer than my salesman, but it' was a older model and I'm sure the newer ones aren't the same as what I have- so he wasn't used to mine...maybe. Overall, my experience was pleasant, they made sure I had water or knew where to get some, the had the trailer hooked up for me per request so I could inspect everything. They just made sure I was satisfied and confident in my purchase from them. Only downside was a few little things were missed. read more

I was calling to explain a total srew up of an order that I placed on-line and picked up at the store where I have been charged 3 times for the one item. If one good apple could save the bunch, I could easily recommend Camping World in Woodstock, Georgia. I worked with (Super) David McConnell on a long-distance sight-unseen purchase. In terms of financial agreement and arrangements, the man was true to his word and everything was flawless and smooth, from the start to the finish. A couple months later, McConnell stood behind the deal and us as customers. For the most part Camping World tried to make things right. But, there is a problem with Camping World that magnifies the issues of buying an RV. In no other industry I can think of is the term "buyer beware" more appropriate. You might expect that with used equipment, but the issue is most obvious with the sale of new equipment. Camping World is a giant in RV sales, dealing with many manufacturers across the country. They are in a position to elevate the industry by enforcing badly needed quality manufacturing control. They could hold manufacturers' feet to the fire and not sell or accept inferior products and production. Instead, they serve as a sleazy middleman in a pipeline to facilitate sales over quality and service. I've heard stories similar to mine elsewhere. Instead of meticulously inspecting equipment when it arrives on their lot, or before a customer would arrive for pickup, the dealer waits until the "walkthrough." This is where a customer walks through the equipment with a relatively inexperienced employee with a checklist to determine what needs to be repaired before driving off the lot. If the customer doesn't find it, it doesn't get repaired. On our "new" RV this included: Loose trim, a badly corroded battery compartment, a potentially dead house battery, and a failed navigation system (including no functioning back-up camera). Luckily we had already booked a room for the night, because it took until after noon the next day for all of the repairs. However, we learned on our first major trip, that the battery was cleaned, but not replaced as promised. Camping World in Roanoke, VA did replace the dead battery for a price because they didn't have the same brand warrantied battery (parts, labor, and a mystery add-on charge). To their credit they had us on our way in a few hours. Back to Dave in Camping World, Woodstock... upon learning of the battery cost to us, he worked to get us a refund for the associated parts and labor. We received the check today. So in summary, there are some good people at Camping World; however, some of the policies and practices of the company makes them more a part of the problem than the solution to buying an RV. read more

It has been extremely difficult trying to purchase an RV. We put in an application then we had to call a week after because we never heard anything. Come to find out the application wasn't even processed it was still sitting on their desk. Once it was processed we were approved. Once we selected the RV we then had to call back because no one reached back out to us about making a down payment or finishing the application. Because of their service we have decided to purchase elsewhere. You would think they want your business but that is not the case here! Service center is dishonest and unresponsive. Made an appointment, dropped off my camper for repairs, 7 weeks later no repairs completed, lied that warranty repairs were placed, covered, and parts were on order. Filed a corporate complaint this morning to find out the dealership lied and closed a work order stating they completed work. They also failed to put in a claim for the bathroom vent and instead melted and coated the vent in the bathroom ceiling after cutting the ceiling, left wood chips everywhere, and still left the vent hanging. After calling Coleman directly I found out they never put claims in for the multiple other issues that they claimed they'd not only address, but had supposedly filed warranty repairs for. Coleman stated many of the repairs would be covered had a claim actually had been filed. Do not do business with this service center! Additionally, due to the multitude of repairs and condition of the brand new camper we asked a salesperson to value it for sale. Called for an update three times, was given the run around, and calls were never returned. So you may want to stay away from the sales department as well. Poor service all around. When you call for service no service center worker is at their desk. When they call back one will tell you something and another will call back (sometimes the manager) and claim something else not knowing you've already spoken to someone. What should have taken a few weeks to complete will now take roughly 3 months between the time the camper was there and will have to be at a service center that can actually complete the work. read more

My husband and I recently stopped in at this location just to look at either a 5 wheel toy hauler or a 30'+ tow behind toy hauler. We currently have a Heartland Pioneer RG22 toy hauler and have had it just a little over a year. We LOVE our trailer but were only curious about one just a little bigger. We were seated in the sales department with Nate. He was AMAZING. I felt bad that we didn't give him a sale since he took a lot of time with us even showing us 3 different models.
