Do not take your Ducati here! I went for an oil leak and these guys claimed to have fixed the problem, which they didn't. I ended up going back and forth to there shop a good two more times and problem still not fixed. I lost patience at this point and ask for a refund they denied me and refused to work with me any further. This is probably why they don't have a Ducati license anymore. read more

WOW is such an amazing business. I have purchased two motorcycles from them. My experience could not have been better. To begin with, there is absolutely no pressure when walking around the store looking at bikes. No one attaches themselves to you like at a traditional dealership. If you have questions, however, there is always someone there to help. The staff is knowledgeable and extremely friendly. We worked with James Freeman. He is so nice and helpful. His knowledge of the inventory and bikes in general is amazing. He helped me find the perfect bike for me (a 2014 Yamaha V Star). I fell in love with the bike almost immediately. James was patient in trying to get me financed. He was not pushy at all. He also helped me with required information to get new insurance on the bike. Never rushing me and treating me with kindness and respect. The finance manager Sean Helmeczy was just as helpful as everyone else in the dealership. Review from my husband...Paul. I purchased a used 2018 Triumph Speedmaster from WOW Motorcycles last week and could not be more pleased with my purchase or buying experiance. Glen, one of the sales managers, was very helpful during my two visits. After doing extensive internet research, I decided on a Triumph Speedmaster for my second bike based on its styling, size, and power. WOW Motorcycles had a 2018 listed at a very competitive price. I called to confirm the bike's availability and spoke with Glen. We set up a time for me to see the bike later that day. Glen was very helpful in answering my questions and showing me other bikes that he thought were similar to the Speedster, just in case I had missed something in my research. Glen didn't attempt to "sell" me a bike, he really only provided information, which I appreciated. I'm a slow decision-maker and left without buying. After thinking long and hard, I called Glen about a week later to see if the bike had sold. Surprisingly, it had not. I set up a second appointment, quickly inspected the bike, and purchased it. The paperwork was painless, there was no pressure to purchase an extended warranty. Since I paid with a personal check, I had to wait a few days for the check to clear before taking delivery of the bike. Gabriel, aka Safari, delivered the bike to my house at the appointed time and did a quick inspection of the bike to confirm everything was in working order. He was very friendly and we had a quick chat about what bikes he rode. Overall, I could not have been more pleased with my buying experience and would highly recommend WOW Motorcycles to anyone in the market for a new bike. All THREE times I received a form email from James Freeman that reads : "Dear TODD, We appreciate your interest in the 1989 YAMAHA FJ1200. We will have someone contact you shortly to discuss further. Thanks, JAMES FREEMAN WOW Motorcycles" If you are not accepting outside customer bikes it would probably be a good idea to state that on your website or on your online SERVICE REQUEST form. And also advise your salespeople at the store not to tell persons to use the online request to set up an appt for service. I just bought a Roadliner from them, and I am a diligent dude when it comes to spending my money. Mr Watkins showed me around, patient. Sooo patient, because I am climbing on every and his knowledge was on point of everything I touched. He handed me off to Ricky and we quickly reached a price I liked. But, I'm a pain and had to be sure I was getting what I wanted and the price was competitive, way better. The next thing is even after we agreed they still went through the bike, made sure it was right, turned it around way quicker than I expected and surprised me by replacing the tire as part of it because...that's what they do. I have to admit to being wary of purchasing a bike from here based on previous reviews and the general "feeling" I had gotten on previous visits. Those visits were 10 years prior so I'm going to assume that some management work went to changing the employees attitude and my recent visit and subsequent motorcycle purchase was a very good experience. I did my research. I knew the bike I wanted and I knew what the market price for the right year / mileage combination was in both the Atlanta region and nationwide via cycletrader. Not having found the exact combo I wanted I saw that there were 3 of them (Triumph Thruxtons) for sale @ WoW and headed over there to check them out. I came in on a busy Saturday and Scott was very helpful in facilitating the sale. He was clear on which of the bikes had a negotiable price and which ones did not. They matched with the prices I found locally so I was satisfied with that. He went over with me, in detail, what their shop looks for before and after getting the bikes and made me feel comfortable with the process. After deciding on the bike the purchase process was painless. They needed time to get the bike ready and do a "out the door" bike check so I came back to pick it up on Tuesday. The bike was ready and I was gone within 30 minutes - perfect and just as it should be. I have to say - if you have concerns when you go there, ask for Scott - he seemed like a great salesperson to work with. read more

Bought the bike Mike Putney was my sales guy, deal was ok. I am neutral in recommending. I do not know the area or competitors for other buying options there. Sales was ok, but not terrible. Service was the same, ok, not terrible. I am neutral, could go either way for anyone else. The maintenance tech had to spend 8 hours getting the heated grips to work. I will call that a plus, but they could have told us they were going to take 8 hours, we would have come back before closing. Especially, since I did call and ask for the prep before we drove from Richmond, VA to Atlanta, GA. I also paid the non-refundable, holding deposit that he really pushed for over the phone, so that they can prep the bike, not wait until I arrive-. The left fork seals become unseated on the way home. Update-So the grips may or may not be working, we will not know until the ambient temp is low enough. (previously stated, Buuut, now the grips are not working again) The fluid was dirty so I am not sure if they changed them prior or not. The sale guy told me they did, because I asked on the phone before I drive the 500 plus miles. So I have emailed them (they are closed sun and Monday) we shall see how they handle this and I will update my review. Update: Mike the sales guy has returned my email and said he has forwarded my issue to the service manager. I am awaiting a decision/comment from service manager. Update as of 11Jul18: So I have received a check for the reimbursement of the fork seal replacement. It is a suitable resolution. I only wished there was better communication, the service manager never did communicate with me and I had to chase Mike the sales guy down. It was a week until Mike told me the resolution. A faster communication plan would have had significant weight on my decision as to when and where to take the bike. read more

A one star is one to many. After three days of signing paperwork and discussing the terms for both parties. The sales man took my deposit and told me the bike and paper were completed and ready to go. I bring the check and I'll receive bike and title. I drove eight hours with a check in my hand to pick up a motorcycle. Once there, terms changed on Wows end. We will mail title to DMV then No we will mail title to your bank, then no we will mail to DMV and you have to pay Va tax and we will send it to them. You pay tax in Va when you title tax and tag in one appointment. They never did show me any proof of a title when I asked for a copy since I clearly was not getting the actual title. This is the worst buying experience of anything much less a motorcycle or car. I did not purchase and I suggest you believe nothing they say!! They are absolutely the worst!!!! read more

Recently purchased a Boulevard M50 from WOW and the total experience was impressive. When you walk in you amazed by the sheer number of used motorcycles. All different types and styles. Triumph's to Harley's to Basa's to Honda's. They even have Moto Guzzi and electric bikes, helmets, ect. Be sure to pick up a price sheet and a pencil at the start of your journey. Hundreds of bikes. When you have had your full, remember to pass thru the double doors to access the "back" where there another 100 or so bikes!!! Everyone is nice and ready to answer the questions you may have. AVOID or be ready to walk back out the front door to protect yourself from being exploited or ripped off. You risk an after-the-sale experience that involves evidence of bait/switch. Beware of point of sale language involving vague, non-specific and non-enforceable claims by salesmen. You will be told about how the bike you buy will be "inspected" and how they repair department will make repairs "AFTER THE SALE" to bring bikes up to a "serviceable" level. "Serviceable" by what definition and whose standard? Inspect and Repair AFTER the sale? HOGWASH. FIx it THEN sell it. Also, beware of "document fees" that will only be mentioned in final moments of the sale and tack on another ~10% to your out-of-pocket. The Manager, Mike is a hard-nosed character with eyes ONLY on the money he can make off customers and a no-flex attitude in negotiation. The salesman FULLY agreed that the tires on the bike HAD to be replaced - they had about 2/32" tread remaining and were 12-13 years OLD! Nobody who wants to stay alive rides on old rubber. We agreed neither of us would ride the bike as is and my purchase offer reflected its condition. Amazingly, Mike the Manager countered with, "I'd ride those tires anytime." There was NO GIVE AND TAKE in this guy's attitude and it left me feeling the deal was not fair and square. I walked. You be the judge, but some friends warned me about Mike, and I found out firsthand they are 100% correct. I was treated with callous disregard throughout the experience. My money doesn't get spent with people like that. read more

A little pressure from sales people, even the "someone just qualified to purchase this bike" when trying to sell you one. I've never really appreciated that tactic but no harm, no foul. I did notice that the prices on the bikes we were there to look at were considerably lower than the same bikes at other stores (we spent the entire day bike shopping). We did leave empty-handed though, when their assorted fees, tax, tag and title wound up making the bike almost two thousand more than sticker and they do not negotiate price. After visiting so many places this one's not too shabby, we may return. read more

Final Update 13 May 2017 I have not received my motorcycle yet, but the service rep at WOW has keep in contact with giving me a status on the repairs at HourGlass. Finally, MV Agusta acknowledged that the starter clutch was bad after going through their flow chart and parts were ordered last week. WOW is covering the repairs. Worst case scenario, Ill have my bike back in 2wks.....I hope. I would like to thank WOW for owning up to their mistakes and taking the necessary steps to correct them. read more

I have dealt with WOW Motorcylces on several occasions and all instances have been professional and fair. I have been riding motorcycles since the mid 90's and have dealt with many shops and shade tree mechanics to fix my bikes. They have been the best out of my personal experience. For service, WOW replaced my used tires at a fair price and did it while I waited. The service department seemed to be well staffed and stocked. I already had my riding gear, so I did not purchase anything like that there, but they have a large selection of helmets, gloves, jackets pants and rinding apparel. Definitely go and try on the gear to make sure it fits and don't be afraid to ask for help on fitting a helmet or jacket... it could save your life or limbs if a mishap occurs. If you want a new bike, consider a used one first... you'll save big money. WOW has the biggest selection of used bikes by every major manufacturer under one roof. I have taken many friends there to sit on bikes to help them decide which kind they want. Often times, they are surprised to find that the one they thought they wanted is not the one they ended up with. When a bike fits, you will know it. Over the years, I have sold 2 motorcycles to WOW and that is really what I want to comment on. At first I tried to sell my 2 sport bikes through CycleTrader and that was not a good experience for me. I had buyers lowballing me over the phone without even seeing the bike. I had liars and shady people come by my house which made me feel uncomfortable. I finally called WOW to have them come look at my bikes. The buyer, Justinas, was a very nice and professional buyer. He pointed out a few mechanical things about the bike that I did not even know about it and we settled on a fair market price. He paid in cash and it was done in less than an hour. And, I did not have to deal with kids coming by for joyrides which is an insurance nightmare. You can probably drive your bike to WOW and have them do the same thing there.
