The latte, which includes orange blossom, cardamom, and honey, had a subtle floral sweetness and a comforting spice that made it especially enjoyable. They also offer a wide variety of signature drinks, which makes the menu fun to explore. I found a cozy spot to sit in the back of the café, which felt a bit more relaxed than the front area. And by chance if you get them on a slower day, ask them about that epic espresso machine. Standard counter service here. You order, then move out of the way to the pickup area. No issues here. 1 Star. Coffee - P&B is known for their Turkish coffee. I've only ordered it once (to take photos), because honestly the coffee is super strong. It is served the traditional way, on a plate with the coffee, more coffee, and a glass of water. It's a little too strong for my tastes, but luckily P&B also can craft traditional coffee drinks iced or hot. I'm an Iced Latte guy and P&B makes an excellent one. 1 1/2 Star. Will I Return? - Yes. While a lot more crowded with less comfortable seating than your favorite Seattle based coffee chain, P&B is unique, in a beautiful area, is great for your Instagram feed, and is independent. It does get busy with students, so finding a table can be a little tricky during peak hours. This time I tried the Matcha Coco Craze, and it was really light and refreshing. I also appreciate that they have a self-serve water station that's always filled, and the staff is always happy to give me a cup of ice when I ask. I'll definitely keep coming back.
