Stumbled upon this tiny little joint on my way home from dropping a friend off at the airport. Got on 12oz vanilla cappuccino and one 12oz latte. Both were really solid. The young lady behind the counter was really nice. This place was empty as hell...I think bc maybe the location? But it shouldn't be empty! Really solid joe. Plenty of parking. Good service... Now the one thing I didn't like is that they had a defected cup with a messed up lip...which made the top impossible to close. They should have thrown the cup out and not used it. I was driving home and about to drink my hot drink when I noticed a gap in the top. That would have SUCKED if I hadn't caught it. I used to be a barista ... Just throw the cup out ;) Not the comfiest vibe...plenty of seating...but it's a bit sparse, so while you could come in a write or work...it's not like...the vibiest place. First time trying this spot. Ambiance was good. The coffee options are streamlined and unique. I gave the experience a 4 out of 5 because their customer service could have been more welcoming. The coffee is quite good and so is the hot chocolate. This is what was purchased: Honey cinnamon latte: 10/10 Robust coffee. Not too strong. The cinnamon with the hint of honey marry well together. This was my second visit, and both times the place was pretty empty, which isn't a bad thing, because it would make for a good place to study or work. I do hope the owner sees this review and takes rearranging the current sitting into consideration. The cafe is quite big, but it's not cozy. This morning I had a great time working from Liberation Coffee. While I was there, I enjoyed a large breve, extra hot. Yum!! Their Asiago bagel and their cinnamon rolls are amazing. If you are going to work for a couple of hours like I did, come early as the seats fill up quickly and have a full charge as I didn't see any outlets. I loved this quiet little coffee shop. The surrounding area is an unlovely, car-dependent shopping area, rendering not-exciting views of the parking lot and nearby office park from the large picture glass windows. Still, the interior is nicely appointed with a few cozy chairs, brown leather loveseat, a good number of cafe tables and chairs as well as bar height seating. The overall look is clean and crisp with lots of natural light and Edison bulbs galore. Soft jazz playing in the background. I tried an oat milk chai latte - the barista presented me with an enormous cup and saucer... I loved the elegant feel and it was perfectly warm and spicy on a cold day! read more

Love the location in Grandscape but this one was really disappointing. Coffee was okay but wow, someone check on those baristas. The place was a bit bleak. Needed some pep in my step, so I decided to stop at Liberation Coffee Co. for some energy. I was promptly greeted by the barista who was incredibly friendly and answered all my questions. He was such a joy to chat with. Upon immediate entry I noticed lots of people quietly at work. My guess would be the internet is fast, and conveniently enough the music low. There's plenty of seating for any and all, including a small outdoor patio. I ended up ordering their signature Blackberry Cobbler Latte (medium is 3 shots?! score) and it was delightful. Pretty chill spot for coffee and I'm pretty impressed with consistency. Their baristas know how to make their drinks well from my couple visits here. I haven't had any complaints. Nice ambience and modern decor. Got the mocha lavender latte. Somehow was expecting more mocha flavor but the lavender was dominant. Initially it put me off but eventually grew on me. I probably won't order it again. The guy who looks like owner or manager was very patient as it took a bit long to get my latte. But, he may have been training someone. This review is for both locations, the one in The Grandscapes and the one in Coppell. I've been to each location a few time and I've been impressed with both. The location in The Colony Grandscapes is newer and more roomier on the inside than the one in Coppell, both have open patios with ample seating. The patio in The Colony is covered whereas the one in Coppell isn't. I received great customer service at both locations and the coffee was delicious! I have yet to try one of the pastries, but I can attest that the lattes and tea lattes are yummy especially since they use Eiland Coffee one of my favorite local roasters! The location in The Colony has two entrances which makes it easy to get in and out of during this pandemic. Overall, when I'm in the area this will be my go to spot for sure! read more

Asked them to add another shot, which they did sort of willingly, and I still couldn't drink it. If you like sweet specialty drinks, this might be your place. Loved the staff, Loved the coffee, but.. their prices were not much loved. I came here to study and a lot of the yelp reviews claimed it was a good spot to do some studying. As soon as I walked in, I noticed the freezing cold A/C blasting. I went back to my car to grab a jacket and a small blanket. I ordered an 8oz Iced Americano. It came out to be a little over $4. I believe that's a little more expensive than Starbucks. I was pretty disappointed on how expensive it was. The 8oz and 12oz both have 2 shots in it. But the 12oz cost a little more... so does that mean you're just paying extra for more water? 0_0 The taste of the Americano was good. That's why I give this place 4 stars. I came to a coffee shop to drink coffee so good thing the coffee didn't taste bad. I don't know if I'll be coming back but if I recommended to a friend, I would warn them about the prices. read more

I started coming here when my old walkable indie coffee house went out of business, and quite frankly I think the coffee here is much better than the old place. I pretty much always get an iced latte because it has such rich flavor without being rocket fuel, but I have tasted several of hubby's drinks too and they are always good. I like to come here to read and work because there is plenty of seating (both desk and some comfy) and good natural light. My only complaint would be the food selection isn't amazing and is mostly sweets; they are good sweets from a local bakery but I prefer more protein/egg based breakfasts so I usually need to eat before or after I come. Oh, and I wish it were walkable from my place but that obviously isn't their fault :) The coffee is the best I have found nearby though and luckily they seem to be doing a lot more business than my old place so hopefully will be here for awhile. read more

Was looking for a coffee house open after 6 p.m. on a Sunday and stumbled across this place on Yelp. Wasn't too busy when we got there and were able to walk right up and place our order. A small latte sweet and a medium chai latte. Both drinks were delicious and made us wish we would have gone with a large. The guys working the counter were friendly and quick to answer any questions we had. I do wish that our coffee was presented in actual cups as opposed to paper since we stated our order would be for here, not to go. Maybe because it was later in the evening? Not sure since they were still going to be open for another 3 hours. It's not a huge deal, but there's something about drinking out of glass versus paper. I love a good hot chocolate, and after visiting this place, I have a new found appreciation for a hot chocolate made with oat milk. That's right people..OAT MILK. You're welcome earth! I loved that their hot chocolate was not too sweet and the oat milk added a depth of flavor that has been missing in my hot chocolate this whole time. All I've got to say to Almond milk is "there's a new sheriff in town and his name is oat milk!". I also tried a slice of their coffee cake and it was yummy. A very good caramel frappe at the Liberation Coffee Company truck in Downtown Dallas. The caramel frappe was thick, but made with fine ice. The frappe was unique in comparison to other frappes at chain coffee houses. The flavors were a good balance of caramel and coffee flavors. I had not realized until today the fillers / facade of whipped cream. Without the whipped cream this frappe was a cup of pure ice deliciousness. This frappe is the real deal. It is an honest and authentic tasting frappe. My only complaint - it was a good drink, but $5, just feels like a lot! Yet, I would revisit. read more
