It is a great place to work/hang out, they have great seating and a nice outdoor section. Very comfy/airy. They have fun and unique drinks, I have enjoyed each one I've tried. I recommend the raspberry cappuccino. I prefer their coffee to matcha, but I am pretty picky with matcha. I say try it!

They also serve Paru matcha, which I love. The space is big, with plenty of shaded outdoor seating and some indoor seating as well. It's located on the corner under a new luxury apartment complex with the leasing office next door. The whole area seems to be developing quickly, with trendy new spots popping up. The staff was friendly, and I love that they give out dog treats and allow dogs on the outdoor patio. It's a calm, relaxing location -- a great little find in San Marcos.

I tried one of their summer specials, an Iced Banana Maple Latte with soy milk. I loved how bold and intense the flavor of the coffee was without it being overwhelming; however, I did not taste the banana or maple flavors at all. It just tasted like a straight up sweetened iced latte. Don't get me wrong, it's a great latte. But I guess I was just expecting to get more of the banana and maple flavors, especially since I was pretty excited about that flavor combination. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the ambiance was great. I love that they have their roasting machine right where people can observe and watch the process if they wanted to. They have ample tables and chairs indoor, and a few outdoor as well. I'm pretty sure I'll be coming back here. I'll probably try the Caramel Cream Latte next time.

I personally like Jazzman's Cafe and Bakery much better than the Starbucks on campus. The coffee here is solid and keeps me running on those days you just need motivation and a boost. When it comes to coffee selection, there isn't a whole lot to choose from, and I am sure their menu will expand thru the years, although what they have now is already sufficient. They carry your regular espressos and iced coffees and even blends. Their white mocha and tuxedo iced coffee is what draws me in! If you need a snack or two they also have a small fridge section with naked juice and various snacks. Come thru, grab a cup of coffee and study in the lobby area or have a grand conversation. This spot has definitely won me over for the best coffee on CSUSM campus.
