I am reviewing this today after myself and my daughter both came in to have our hair done by Alison. I Made the appointment and was accommodated to my preferred time and day. Once I got there I met her and showed her what I wanted & she said, "no problem" I got nothing like the picture I showed her. I wanted to be blonde again, but I'm darker than ever with a few redish highlights... exactly what I was trying to avoid. Same thing happened with my daughters hair. Only difference was my daughters hair color looks the same as it did when she got there? So weird. I gave her 2 stars because she is very nice! Makes you feel super comfortable and welcomed & my haircut is nice. But If you're going in for anything other than a subtle change. I'd go somewhere else. First time here and it was awesome, I havent gotten a cut in a year and cut my own bangs which botched them completely and fritz helped me figure it all out and made a plan of action to get my hair back on point. Also that shit was only $20 AND HE TOOK ME LAST MINUTE. Bless this small business. Im so happy I chose to come here, this will for sure be my new go to hair stylist. I have been a client of fritzs at campus kuts for 42 years. I used to go to chain hair cut shops. Who ever I got to do my hair most of the time they would tell me your hair would look good short or this style. I would say no thank you just trim ends. Fritz from the second time I went there would say the usual. I always got what I wanted . All I wanted was a simple trim for dry ends. I started to dye my hair when it got to gray. I have rude relatives related by marriage. When Fritz was so busy (what do you expect from the best in the west) my relatives would say what happened to your hair. Can't you afford to dye it. Does your hair dresser charge to much? This hairapists work is truely a work of art. A masterpiece to be hung up and framed. Whenever he is behind before my appointment he always apologizes. Let me start by saying I have extreme anxiety about getting my hair cut. I've never been able to find someone who's made me feel comfortable enough to be a return customer. After a very pleasant phone call I was able to come in to see Nancy for a wash, trim, and blow dry. I have very long and thick hair and they were very accommodating price-wise whereas most places will up the prices for me by at least $30. Nancy was very sweet, listened, and double checked to make sure I was comfortable with the amounts she was trimming. I left with beautiful curls (which my boyfriend said looked stunning) and not an ounce of anxiety. I will definitely be returning to and recommending Campus Kuts! read more

Campus Kuts is the best place to go if you are looking for a hair salon! And, of course Fritz is the reason why everyone flocks to his shop! My son has been going to Fritz for more than 25 years, but when you're young, it was so important to know what kind of cut was in style! Then, when he finally grew up, my son continued to go to see Fritz for great cuts and a wonderful friendship. Recently I brought a 14 year old who had never had his hair "styled" due to lack of money to Fritz. It was heart-warming to watch Fritz work his magic on building this young man's self esteem. When the haircut was complete, Fritz put the pomade in the boy's hair and showed him how to fix (style) it. The young man didn't really understand that now he is in high school, he needs to start taking care of his appearance. With once sentence from Fritz, "Here's how you will do it", the message was received! And... Fritz added as I went to pay "I'm on your team", meaning that he wasn't going to charge this young man (or me.) Whether he knew it or not, Fritz was there as this young man's advisor and support...
