We were very disappointed. My wife, masculine looking, walked in to Cam's Cuts to set an appointment. She showed up for her appointment, and showed the Barber, Jesse, the cut she would like. My wife walked out with a disappointing cut. It was not how it looked and the front and top portion of her hair was not touched. I've heard so many great things but it was disappointing that we drove from Tacoma, WA and the barber was in a rush and did not follow through with the requested cut. I have had my hair cut here for over four years now. My favorite barber is Josh as he is very talented and consistent. He Knows what I like and could cut my hair with his eyes closed. If he is away or I have to get a cut immediately I have used Mustafa, Donny, or Jesse. The whole shop knows how to give a great cut and the feel of the place is great. Been getting cut at Cams for nearly 10 years now and Matt and the rest of the barbers there are some of the most skilled at what they do! Any type of hair and hair style they get it done. Higher end cut means higher cost but please don't let that scare you away, well worth the price and highly recommend. You will always leave happy and looking good for the day. Won't go to any other barber shop in the city. Make sure to schedule way in advance but great traditional shop and of course kid friendly can't go wrong. read more

Post-COVID update: still a great place to get haircuts! All the barbers wear masks, and visitors do too. If you're getting beard service, you'll remove your mask while that happens. First off, if we're going off talent and skill alone, then It's a 5 star all around. Never have had a bad cut. Everyone is friendly and the environment is nice. However, the wait times are sometimes ridiculous. Like over 2 hours on a busy day. Doesn't even matter if you get there first or not because they then offer a VIP cut where you can just pay an additional $20 to cut the line. Now this is nice for the people wiling to fork out an additional $20 but sucks for the ones waiting. So, if you don't mind a really long wait, or paying extra then this is the place for you. Top notch customer service and an even better cut. True Men's Barbershop tucked away in Vancouver. Scheduled an appointment that, by my mistake, was for the following day. My barber was off and instead of sending me off (mind you I drove up from Portland) Cam asked J.D. if he could quickly clean me up to buy some time. Good cuts but terrible customer service.The first time I arrive to cams cut they said that I have to come at 2:00 to be the first person In line.God I got there at 2:10 and every single person there were full so i listed my name on the whiteboard and waited till my name was called up.An hour later the person I put my name up only finish two people and there were four more people to go.So I waited and waited then at around 4:40 the person goes and said they can't attend me anymore. I was so mad I waited like 2 hrs and a half for my cut and they didn't gave me it. Never go there unless you make an appointment or if you want wait 2 hrs for your cut. read more

DO NOT BOOK WITH MUFASA. I told him not to cut any length off on the back of my head (Had a years growth almost 8 inches ) and he completely ignored my request and shaved it down to 3 inches. Ruined my day and my hair, now I look like I have a dike spike. I feel completely disrespected. I still can't believe what he did , I tipped him but I wanted to kick his ass. Waited over two hours for a 'walk-in' haircut; arrived at 2:45, then told at 4:30 by some guy named Dj that he could not take my son because 'walk-ins' ended at 5:00 pm and he did not have time. Meanwhile he goes outside for a smoke which he had been doing consistently since we arrived. If you do not want to take 'walk-is' just say so and save people two hours! Terrible customer service. Employees straight up ignore you. Very unfriendly atmosphere. Can't speak of the quality of the cuts as I wasn't able to get one even. I signed up and waited for over an hour and watched people who came in after me get called before me; some kind of preferential treatment? Great hair cuts, but overpriced and horrible customer service if you aren't literally "in the chair". We have waited for hours (seriously), because they won't offer appointments. If you pay an EXTRA $20 you can get in faster because you get to go ahead of the other customers there waiting. You have to put your name on a list under the barber you want, and if they don't get to you before they leave, they just leave and you get to start over under someone else's "list". And if they take to long on other's haircuts, and you don't literally get to get into a chair before it is their closing time, then you get to pay extra for that, too. I have brought my twins in many times only to realize it will be hours and so we leave, or to wait for several hours and leave without a haircut. Bad business. read more

I live in Vancouver and used to drive out to Portland to get my hair cut, and pay twice as much. Since going to Cam's I don't go anywhere else. They have excellent service and a great selection of Layrite products. Their haircuts take a little longer but they've been consistently fresh. read more
