80+ dollars for a beard trim and haircut. wildly overpriced. Including the fact that the left side of my mustache is uneven as hell.

I just had the worst beard trim I've ever had. I looked better before I walked in this place. Edit: I also got a head shave, when the guy was doing it, I could have sworn he was just gently rubbing a dull blade on my head. I just got home and can see long hairs still sticking up. And my entire head is rough. Don't take on jobs you can't do. I told the dude I wanted the length taken down so I can get a good shape. Lol never again. read more

I wanted to take some time to give a 5 star to Chris Pin! My 10 year old son has been a client of Chris' for over a year now and he's a lucky kid to have the coolest barber in town. My son is very particular about the way he presents himself and Chris makes him look and feel pretty darn rad. Chris usually spends an hour giving him a pristine undercut fade, finished off with a straight razor neck trim and a spritz of bay rum aftershave. He and Chris chit chat during the entire process like 2 dudes having a good time. I really appreciate the time and consideration Chris Pin makes for my son. Really nice and clean place, and at least for today, a very chill interior (both peaceful, and had a cool look to it - I kept looking at some of the nautical-framed mirrors in their waiting area), and both employees that I interacted with were very nice; I think I might have been the biggest chatterbox there, and hope I didn't annoy their other customers, come to think of it, haha. My brain is regretfully really frazzled after driving home in a storm, so I don't recall their specific names. It was also my first time getting my hair done in a barbershop (not a "salon", after the my old options disappeared during 2020), and having part of my head shaved with a straight-razor; I was a little nervous due to a mole I have, but in addition to them being very reassuring, they were obviously VERY steady-handed, with no nicks or issues. Even scheduling the appointment was way more straight-forward and available than other experiences I have had in the past, and I am hoping I found my new go-to location for as long as I'm in the area. read more

This is a neat spot in a growing downtown part of vancouver. Lots of barber shops are appearing and it's nice to see other business thriving. This spot is similar to most barber shops in the area except it has walk ins welcome which is nice. The place is still looking for traffic but I'm sure it will appear. I asked for a high skin fade with a clean up on the top. The cut was ok but the fade was honestly pretty mediocre. It was uneven and it seemed like the barber had not done many fades or was still learning so the cut for the price I paid was not worth it but the spot is honestly go to and try other barbers. A highlight is this place closes late so if you get off work late come through and get your cut here. They offer beer and drinks like most other barbers. read more

I went in at 7pm yesterday and had the privilege to receive a haircut from Moises visiting from LA; if you're like me, I like watching Youtube videos of ppl getting sick cuts and LA has a very good reputation when it comes everything hair. Moises took the time to listen to what I was going after and clarified what I wanted to make sure we were on the same page. He was very meticulous especially when it was straight razor time. After going to barbers for decades, you can tell when a barber takes care of their tools; properly taken care of tools = great cuts. When he used his scissors, the blades were so sharp that all you could hear was the friction between the screw and the pivot point. Great conversation and an awesome cut. Barber should say they don't accept kids if they aren't accommodating. My son kept saying ow that the barber was going too fast and pulling his hair. Christopher started arguing with him. Got an attitude. Just not a great experience. Do not recommend. read more

I brought my son in, after reading reviews about the shop. He ended up having Isaac, as his barber. I saw the guy's hair who was in the chair before my son, and Isaac was doing a great job, so I felt comfortable and so did my son. I told Isaac, my son wanted a one faded up into a two and the at least an inch off the top. 1st. He started without closing the cape, and hair went all down my son's back, so needless to say he is now itchy. 2nd. He doesn't talk to my son besides murmuring directions to him. 3rd. He started off strong, and my son was liking it, but by the time we were done, I swear, it only took, maybe 10 to 15 minutes. 4th. My son runs to bathroom and comes out devastated. I had already paid at this point, $35 for hair $5 for tip, we head to car, he looks at me and says I hate it mom, what did he do to my hair? School starts this week!! At closer look, it looks like I cut his hair blind folded. It was so messed up. I had to take him to Great Clips to fix, what the barber couldn't do! So now I'm down $19 more dollars. Horrible experience. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! read more
