Best place for slices, but worst place for a whole pie. Go for lunch slices, but go to another place for full pies.

Without question, the most expensive pizza in town. Normally if someone sells a far superior product, I don't have a problem paying more. That's just not the case here. For $35+ I got what I'd consider to be a very average pizza. We order numerous toppings. Nothing special to distinguish it from any other pizza. Every other pizza business I've tried are much more generous with the cheese and toppings. I can't say it's a horrible pizza, but for what you pay the juice just isn't worth the squeeze. read more

Tastes the same as in high school when I discovered that blue cheese and xtra cheese plain pizza or black olives was FANTASTIC- who count calories at 16? And now well, sometimes ya just gotta! Stopped in on a Tuesday to take advantage of a buffalo wing special in our local Cam's in Oswego. Service was a bit slow but very friendly and worth the wait. My son and I split the order with different sauces per our individual tastes. I'd definitely return to sample other specials, otherwise the pricing is a bit high for a pizza shop. read more

Ordered the Tuesday special from a email I got . Offer 16" NY pizza, 5 pizza logs and 2 liter bottle of coke the picture shows all 3 of these things and lists them as the Tuesday $19.99 special then underneath they list the 16" pizza the pizza logs But no 2 liter underneath in much smaller font "2 liter bottle of soda $2.99 . when it was all said and done I ended up paying $33.00 for the $19.99 special Very misleading advertising if not outright fraud. dont list the soda as part of the deal if its not included . read more

Ordered a sub for pickup. Got it home, 20 minutes away. Burnt. Call and speak to GM at Oswego location and he said come in next day for refund due to my distance. Went in today to get the refund, the guy who I assume is the the store manager can't find the info and has to call GM. It is taking an obscene amount of time to refund a sandwich. I say "this is effing ridiculous", out loud, not at anyone, to which the store person says "Don't curse at me". I say "I am not cursing at you but at the situation".He says "get the eff out of my store". I say "when I get my refund. I want to speak to the GM." He cussed at me to get out a few more times. My husband apologizes and he gives him the refund for the whole order he says "out of the goodness of his heart" Right, why did he not just give the refund in the first place since he apparently had the authority to do so in the first place. But apparently I am a miserable person for asking for them to correct their mistake. read more

After three bad experiences, I have decided to write a review about this establishment. On one occasion, I accompanied 3 members of my family (not college students) and I was told I could NOT have a plastic cup for water because "I was not buying anything". That is outrageous. Secondly, I called Cam's and asked if there were slices left. I was told that they were sold out and to order my own pizza. When I arrived to the restaurant to pick up my order, there were nearly two dozen slices available. At that point, I paid nearly $25 for my small pizza and 10 chicken wings. TALK ABOUT EXPENSIVE. The staff was incredibly unfriendly and rude. Closed the doors and shut off the lights immediately at 2:00am and demanded that we leave. (Paying customers who all recently received their food). -There were numerous others who were eating as well [I also would like to add, this was during winter break so there weren't hundreds of drunken college students running around. These were ADULTS!] I have had pleasant, yet expensive experiences with other Cam's in the Syracuse area. However, this one needs an entire restructuring of management and training. Although more expensive than other pizza places in the area, Cam's was hands down the best slice around. It had great sauce that wasn't overly sweet and thin crust like the pizza in NYC, which is my favorite and hard to come by at other pizza shops in Oswego. The place gets absolutely packed late night on the weekends because it is in a prime location where all the bars are. If you are sober and looking for a late night slice, I wouldn't recommend coming here. It's a mad house. read more

Mom's Birthday, eleven people. I ordered two large pizzas, one pepperoni and one supreme, plus twenty medium wings and twenty BBQ wings. Pizza was decent but nothing to write home about, and same for the wings. I've had better. I've had worse. But this order was $93.86. Almost $100 to feed 11 people. It's not like this is artisan pie. Whenever I was crawling around the bars in Oz I'd go here for a slice or two of pizza. I think it was like $2.50 a pop for a slice of pepperoni and the prices didn't really go up. They have an ATM in front if you need cash for the bars or for your pie or for...whatever you might want/need to buy in Oz on a weekend (which is just about anything in reason). Mild, past-tense creeper alert: They used to have to buzz you into the bathroom. I don't know why. Amazingly, it didn't have anything to do with rowdy drunken college kids piling in from the bars to use the can. Anyway, they've since reversed that policy but still, it was kind of creepy. I felt like I was taking a leak in a police station. They're dine-in pizza is good, they're delivery is overpriced and terrible. Seventeen bucks for a two-topping pie and the delivery guys don't normally carry change so DEFINITELY don't pay with a 50 or Otto the delivery man will bring home a $30 tip. For some reason their pies seem like they're a little too big for the boxes they come in and they're really doughy and just not that good. Weird recommendation: If you're getting delivery go with the steak and chicken. No joke, it's delicious. It can be hit or miss and it's a little mediocre. Three stars. read more

the medium pizza is a personal pizza size and is $18???? Honestly they can eat rap for that stunt. If I was the person who got the pizza I would have just told them to keep it at that price. This is fat-person pizza, make no mistake about it. And, chain or not, it is good. If you're ready to give up and live in sweatpants, there are worse ways to start than with an acre-wide cheese and pepperoni triangle you have to fold to hoist to your pie-hole. Just look at it, begging to be dusted with the parmesan shaker and flaked with crushed red pepper out of a solo cup, dripping deadly but delicious orange grease down the front of your XXL shirt. Or, If, like me, you want to wear shoes with laces a little longer, skip the pepperoni, pat that bastard with a napkin, fill up your rain barrel-sized cup with diet soda and we'll die slower, but still pretty happy. read more

Is this a NYC pizza? No, but it's about as good a reproduction of one as I've found outside of NYC, so I have little to complain about. Is it five-star pizza? Nope. ok, the food was GOOD. Very tasty and the basic tomato marinara sauce was delicious. We had ordered a caesar salad, manicotti with meatballs, and mozzerella sticks - to STAY. almost 15 minutes later - still no food delivered to our table. It is a mostly take out business from what I saw, and slices to stay at tables, but one table of eaters should not have thrown off the staff that much. Not one smile, and the counter girl didnt even lift her head to look at me when speaking. I asked for our salad at least and was told it had to me made fresh and it would come soon. Then we saw the 'chef' stomp through and slap down a plastic box of lettuce with grated cheese and storm off. The girl reached over to hand it to me but I had to ask for the dressing and get my own plastic ware (which she had to reach OVER by the way) By the time our manicotti was delivered we had to leave to catch a movie and the mozz sticks still hadn't come. We asked for it all to be wrapped and it was done - grudgingly. The dipping sauce for the mozz was COLD. We ate the dinner later in a hotel room, with no way to re-heat, and it was tasty - no complaints about food quality. read more

The pizza is fantastic, IF you eat in or get takeout. For some reason, when I've gotten delivery it's just never been anywhere near as good. It's a great place to eat before or after a movie since it's so close to the theatre. read more

One of the worst pizzerias in town. If the other places stayed open later I'd go there instead. The food is really expensive. Only tasted good when I was drunk. The staff is very unfriendly and when I ordered a Stromboli the girl complained about having to make it in front of my face. She continued to finish her tasks she was doing before the order and then started the Stromboli after finishing whatever she was doing. Took 30 minutes to get it and had to bring it back and ask for my money back because the oven gave it charred remnants of other pizzas on the bottom, was covered in flour and when we moved it the flour fell off in waves. It was burnt and the inside was slimy and tasted horrible. I also ordered 10 wings and it took 40 minutes to get the wings. They're the only item I've liked on the menu, although one time I waited half an hour for wings and they came out half raw. I'd suggest going to any other pizza place in the area. read more

Great place to have really good pizza by the slice, as well as good canolis. Overall menu is quite diverse. The place is a little on the small side so big crowds aren't too welcome. Staff isn't the friendliest, though they are capable. Can't take a trip to Bridge street without stopping by here for a slice. read more

We visited our son at College and were looking for a "Family" Style pizza place. Since "Family Style" is on their sign we chose them. What a mistake! The inside is so narrow and all the tables only accommodate four people. The five of us had to squeeze into a booth. We ordered a sheet pizza that tasted no better than a pizza made in a high school cafeteria. The crust was over proofed and tasted of mildew. The sauce was plain and free of any spices or flavor. We also ordered two personal Caesar salads for $3.99 each. The salads never came out. When we went to the counter to inquire why we never received them they seemed to have forgotten. After waiting longer we were given two small containers of rotten lettuce with parmesan cheese shaken on it. The lettuce looked like it belonged in the dumpster and should never have been served to a customer. We asked for our money back on the salads and they happily did so. What a big disappointment this place was. Will never go back. read more

Since coming up here from TX I have been telling everyone back home how great the pizza is up here, but today Cams has changed all that for me, Today I ordered a large pizza for pickup, I waited the 20 min. I was told it would take, when I arrived the girl behind the counter was happy to take my money and then told me it would be another 10 min. or so which was ok, but after 20 min. I began to wonder how much longer when I saw girl from the back taking out pizzas and there was mine and when I said something to her she just ignored me and threw my pizza on the bottom shelf and of their stainless table and walked away, after another 20 min. of standing and waiting, I watched others behind me get their pizzas eat and leave when I asked the girl behind the register about my pizza she looked on the stainless table and found mine at the bottom of the stack of pizzas, I checked my pizza and it was cold and then the girl offered to stick it back in the oven to warm it up, no thanks I said and left with my pizza and when I got home we all understood way the girl in the back did not wont me to see it, the pizza was almost all dough very little sauce, hardly any mushrooms or meat on the pizza, so I would have to say if you wont good pizza and good service STAY AWAY FROM CAMS IN OSWEGO!!!!
