Not the best Pizza in my opinion. I came in around 6PM, there wasn't many pizza slices left which is understandable. I got 2 slices, chicken wings and garlic knots. Pizza was dry. The young lady who helped us order also made our food and she was very helpful! She was clear when communicating our order wait time and was accommodating when I was using a coupon. When waiting for my order I noticed that the tables and seating weren't completely wiped down which was slightly off-putting. But the space was a good size for what it was and parking was no problem due to the pizza shop being apart of the collection of businesses here. The pricing is also not bad in comparison to some of the other local pizza places. Overall the experience wasn't bad. But, the pizza and wings were kind of chewy. read more

I know Vinnie and Mozzi, i worked at a Gino and Joe's. I ordered from the Oswego location, food was half an hour late. Fried mushrooms were mush inside, and discolored from bad oil. In town for baseball tourney, this place was recommended by locals at grocery store. The dill pickle pizza was pretty good. Kids loved the sheet pizza but it was heavy on cheese and soggy. Wings were greasy too. Some people in the group loved both the wings and pizza? To each their own. read more

So, it took 20-25 minutes and I ran to the local grocery store for a 6 pack. Came back and pizza and wings were ready. Everything was piping hot. Went back to the hotel and enjoyed a cold beer and some wings. Wings weren't as hot, flavor wise, as I expected, but they were definitely good. Wings included ranch dressing. Normally when I think of GJP I think pizza, but their diverse menu makes it much more than that. There are many different pasta dishes all of which are quite good. I won't try to mislead anyone by suggesting this is a 5 star fine dining Italian restaurant but they don't represent themselves as that. This is my go to place for ordering out. This food is fresh, tasty and plentiful. I ordered at the last minute food for a family that had a sudden loss. GJP didn't just 'whip up' some food they prepared some delicious family favorites for 15 at a moments notice and it wasn't sheet pizza. I was able to pick it up in 30 minutes and the family asked me how I cooked such good food so fast. My comment was. I called GJP. We've eaten in and ordered take out, and never been disappointed. However, I do wish the garbage plate came with authentic Texas hot meat sauce rather than a tomato-based Italian meat sauce. But since I grew up in Rochester, home of the legendary garbage plate, I guess I'm a bit of a garbage plate snob. Whoa, is that any oxymoron?!?! GJP Pizza is among the best available in Oswego, not too thin, and not too thick, but rather just like Goldilocks. I always ask for our wings to be crispy with extra sauce, and they have gotten it right every single time. New York is a hotbed for good pizza. Normally, Oswego doesn't necessarily provide the same quality slice that you'd get in New York City. However, this place bucks that trend. This is the rare opportunity to get an awesome slice of pizza in a college town and for a fair price. I consider it one of the few hidden gems in Oswego. While they have plenty of things on the menu wr come for thr pizza. And what we usually do is order several different slices so we can try different flavors. You'll want to do the same. I think your biggest challenge is going to be deciding which slice you want to eat because when you look through the glass so much of it looks appealing that deciding on one or two slices can be a chore. Which lights you choose is entirely up to you, but plan on being impressed that there is a place in Oswego that belongs on your must eat list. Fairly didsapointed with my expereince here. I'll give this place another chance because what I ordered may not be their specialty, but I all around didn't love this place. It's nice enough inside and the location is good, but I ordered a cheeseburger sub, and it took them about 30 minutes to make, which is weird considering the Oswego Sub Shop has them ready in less than 5 minutes. Well, it turns out, all that time was put towards burning the meat and making the bread rock hard. Also, who puts tomato sauce on a cheeseburger sub? It's not like It's chicken parm or anything. I really didn't like the sub, and the service wasn't great. Again, I'm willing to give this place another chance, but $15... not worth it for this experience. read more

I tried this place for the first time yesterday. It's very convenient for those looking for Italian on the east side. However it is much more of a pizza/sub shop than anything. I ordered the stuffed shells which were good (comes with 5). The side salad was absolutely awful. Just lettuce, onions, and two slices of tomato but one tomato was rotted. The Italian dressing was probably the worst dressing I've ever had. Also came with a garlic knot which was good but super greasy. I have ordered twice from this place, both ordering garlic parm wings. The wings were good, very oily, but pretty good. Should be a creamier option, but we'll see what happens there. The deliver for the first time ordering was decent, the second time however was way too long. I ordered at 7:19pm and had an estimate of between 8:23-33pm. The order didn't arrive until almost 9:50. The ice cold pizza and the soggy wings that I asked for extra extra crispy was not the issue. I called to let them know about my concern with the order. The manager Alexis didn't even take the complaint but told the employee to tell me that I should have asked for sauce on the side if I wanted extra crispy. Pretty much telling me that it is my fault, with NO APOLOGY OFFERED. They could have recommended that when I placed the order. I also get wings this way at least once a week never have an issue. And I firmly believe placing the blame on the customer is not how you do business. I requested the manager get on the phone. I tried to coach her a little on how the manager should take a complaint and they should not place blame on the customer. She then offered me a $5 credit which I didn't need since I don't live around here. She simply could have apologized and asked what she could do to make it better. I would agree with some of the other Yelp reviews that this was a RUDE experience. COVID or not we can still treat people right even when we let them down. read more

My husband ordered pizza from this pizza shop. He was told it would be 45 mins to an hour. It showed up 2 hrs later. He called multiple times to check in the order,kept being told it was on the way. And told they wouldn't do anything to compensate him. The total cane to $28, he paid the driver $20. The driver told GJP that we refused to pay anything. So they were calling the police on us. The whole situation is infuriating. I have never dealt with such poor costumer service before. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Btw, the food was cold by time it made it. We often order from here and we love it, but tonight was TERRIBLE. I ordered a pizza and loaded fries at 5:28p and the woman said it would take about 45 mins to an hour, which was fine. There was a knock at the door at 5:43p and I was surprised it was the delivery. I spent nearly $30 for an old cheese pizza they sprinkled some bacon on and reheated and some old loaded fries.
