While the staff was very friendly, that's about where the positives ended. We had two calzones, one an original pizza type calzone with pepperoni and mushrooms and the other a cheeseburger calzone. Both were very small and lacked flavor. I even ordered and paid for extra meat in the cheeseburger calzone based on other reviews I saw that said they were pretty stingy with the fillings. Even with what they considered extra meat, the calzone was very thin. The inside of this place is pretty dismal, but to be honest I think 99% of their business is take out so I don't think they're concerned about ambiance. Might be a good choice for the college crowd at 2am when the bars close and nothing else is open, but skip this place if you want a decent pizza or calzone. I'll have to say, the other night I had ordered D.P Dough and was pretty impressed. I've recently switched to night shifts, an didn't have any other options for food around 2 am as I was tired and didn't want to cook at that time. Even though I have made a negative review in the past, I was very satisfied with the portion size an all ingredients were perfect. The BBQ layered the steak just right inside the calzone topped with a good, not overbearing, amount of parmesan with double amount of the usual marinara. I will say that that this place has earned my service again. I originally ordered it through Door Dash, and just when I thought it wouldn't arrive to how late it was I received a text with my order at the door. I don't know what they changed, but you can tell as a former ordinary customer they are working to improve. read more

no matter how many times they mess up n I call they always either argue with me or say "I am the manager" last time I asked for the manager it was a female. this time it was a male. the issue leading to this was regarding dp dunkers n one of them not having the sauce like AT ALL. If you are ordering for delivery past 11:00pm, don't expect your food to arrive any earlier than 2 hours from the time you placed the order. Currently waiting for an order to be delivered right now that I placed 2 hours ago. After an hour and I half I called to see the status of my order and the employee said he was about to leave, it's been 30 minutes since then and the food is still not here. I have ordered from here several times and can say the only bad calzone I've had here was the cheeseburger one, as it lacked flavor. They do have an online only special when you order two calzones, which is nice. The big pro for me about this place is that they offer vegan cheese, and it's actually good in the calzone. I ordered food from here and they ended up delivering my food to the wrong address. After calling to complain the workers said they would send the food with the next driver and that never happened. No food and no refund. Definitely ruined the vibes , not ordering from here ever again. We order here all the time but the chef at the front of house was absolutely amazing. Our order was perfect and way better than it ever has been and he even made sure the extra sauce we ordered were in the boxes. Well they were tolerable at one point. We stopped ordering from them years ago when they were Zonies. When it was Calios, it wasn't great all the time but wasn't bad. Under the third rebranding, the calzones we got were undercooked near the crust (doughy and gummy), one side of one of them was missing a topping, and everything came with marinara (for buffalo chicken and CBR, that's atypical).The tator tots were the worst part. If I could give them a negotiate 5 stars I would. Food feels like it was microwaved. They looked homeless dressed in sweats and over sized clothes messy hair and just not professional. It's like they got out of bed and said screw it. They messed up my order and told me to go F myself and that they would not replace it. Customer service is terrible. We ordered here twice. Takes about 45 mins to cook and deliver. It tastes good but there is not much meat in the calzones. The "cheese sticks" are just a thin circle of cheese, they didn't even bother cutting it so it was hard to eat, but tasted good. Got an offer in an email for $5 calzones, online ordering only. The only catch was you had to order online and enter the code FINALS... which I did... For two calzones with minimal toppings it came out to be over $20 not counting tax and driver tip. The discount code gave a whopping discount of $1.98. Wow. Such a great deal. If this wasn't bad enough, the cheese and pepperoni calzone was only decent enough to eat on one side. The other side was completely just dough. The other calzone was missing toppings that I paid .50 each for. Never again. read more

I called in an order to be delivered, the person answering the phone had no clue how to operate the system, my 3 item order took over 15 minutes to complete as I heard over and over again the person on the phone putting other people on hold. I placed my order for a calzone and 2 orders of chicken, it comes to a out 33 dollars. It takes 2 and half hours for the food to arrive, and the calzone was just garbage. Clearly frozen processed food taken out of the freezer and microwaved. I asked for the manager and she simply offered me a free calzone because "you obviously got the wrong calzone" I tell her the food is simply bad and a free calzone isn't enough, and she hangs up o me. This used to be Calio's, it's now called DP Dough. I don't remember the pricing from when it was Calio's so I can't compare that. Otherwise same staff, same general menu. The Calzone I ordered was undercooked, cheese wasn't melted and the dough wasn't cooked through either. A disappointing way to spend $8. I didn't try anything else on the menu. read more
