Since when is GLASS considered a pizza topping? My family and I ordered a butter chicken pizza along with some wings and ended up with a close call. About halfway through my nieces first slice of pizza, she bit into something hard, spit it out and had my brother and I take a look. It was glass...a broken piece of glass ended up in our pizza, into her mouth and she almost ingested it. My brother immediately called Can Am, let them know what had happened and of course he was met with all sorts of excuses on how it couldn't have been them, they didn't have a single piece of glass in the shop and it must have been the cheese distributer. Maybe, maybe not...it still was Can Am who gave us the tainted pizza. I did not hear the whole phone conversation, but what I did hear was the delivery guy make up all sorts of reasons why it was impossible that the glass came from their pizza ( delivery guy was sent to "inspect" the glass). And when it was time for him to give us our refund, he said he wasn't authorized to do so...only authorized to give us another glass pizza. While the delivery guy was still at the house, my brother calls the store back, puts the original lady on speaker phone and asks her to authorize our full refund...and then lady on the phone starts saying that we couldn't have a refund, we could only have a new pizza and that we probably put the glass in the pizza ourselves. At this point, my brother ends the call and we tell the driver to get off our property, and before the driver leaves, he offers up money from his pocket (with a sarcastic/ fake gesture...no money was ever shown or exchanged) and says something like, "You need money, here, take twenty bucks". What a jerk! At no point in time did they show any type of concern or offer any apologies for their mistake. I can't believe people like this are even in business. They should have done the right thing, looked a whole lot deeper into the issue and figured out where the glass came from. How careless. Why is this business even open? I will never again have any dealings with Can Am and I strongly suggest you avoid and not support this type of business. read more

I've had Can AM on the eastside and this location is good. Although for the Indian pizzas I noticed they used jalapeños and not green chilis like the other location to spice it up. Flavors were good. We got a paneer and chicken pizza. Asked for it spicy but it was more Medium. They don't list all the Indian pizza options on the site, you have to ask. GLASS was in the pizza!!! We ordered a butter chicken pizza from here last night, and my niece bit into a piece of glass in her first slice. I immediately called the restaurant and told them what had happened. The lady I spoke to offered no apologies, and spouted off absurdities like they have absolutely no glass of any kind in the place, and that it had to have come from one of their suppliers. She even asked me to bring the pizza and glass shard back to the restaurant, so she could inspect it. Eventually, I thought we agreed that she would send a delivery man to refund me the money. The delivery man arrived, inspected the glass and the pizza, and only offered to bring a new one. Obviously, I had to decline the offer of another glass-filled dinner. I had to call Can-Am Pizza again (with the delivery man present), and the lady I had previously spoken to accused us of putting glass in the pizza, so we weren't entitled to a refund. I said I would write a review, which is my first ever, and she accused me of threatening her, and ended the conversation. The delivery man followed the lady's lead, and rudely said we should keep the pizza since we weren't getting a new one, or a refund. He also accused us of putting glass in an 11 year old girl's pizza. Obviously, he was asked to leave. Before doing so, he insulted me again by saying something to the tune of, "What, you need money, here's 20 bucks", while pretending to reach for his wallet. Just had the pizza recently for the first time. Better than your crappy ol' Pizza Hut, but nothing to write home about either. Had two medium pizzas, one two-topping and one Taco... Seemed a little bit on the small side and pretty expensive for little pizzas - $28 before tip. Delivery was fast and friendly and although it was just a tad better than average pizza (IMO, but my friend thought it was better than I did...) it did hit the spot. The Taco pizza was a bit disappointing but had potential. Good flavor, but I was hoping for the old Godfather's Pizza style that I loved so much as a kid. Like that, Can Am had the lettuce, tomato,and taco meat, etc., but they also put chunky salsa and sour cream on top - which made it kind of sloppy to eat and a little overkill on the goop factor. Would have been better to have these as sides to dip, and would have been nice to have a spicier sauce rather than their standard tomato sauce - or at least throw some jalapenos on there. Overall, a decent place for quick pizza that doesn't taste like the rubber you get from chains, but don't expect to be blown away. Check out their website for coupons to get a better deal than I did. We didn't feel like cooking and ordered a large garlic chicken pizza and an order of cheese breadsticks. According to the flyer, this would be a total of $21 ($15.99 for the pizza and $4.99 for the bread). However, when the delivery guy arrived it was somehow $31. WHAT?? Even with tax and a normal delivery charge you would estimate around $27, but somehow they added to that? I've never seen a place serve Indian pizza and subs. I've had both chicken and paneer dishes and I can't decide which is better. I wish there was less of a ginger taste but overall it was tasty! Butter Chicken pizza was delicious! Although to be perfectly honest, the crust wasn't my favorite, but that's really a matter of personal preference. I personally think it would be better on a thin, crispy crust, but the softer, chewy crust was okay. Today I tried Butter Chicken Pizza, which was totally different from other 2 pizzas. It had such a unique desi taste with tender chicken, creamy sauce. The raita went really well with the pizza. Last week, I tried my first pizza from Can Am Pizza in Bothell/Mill Creek and I can guarantee that it will be my last! I have never, in over 50 years of pizza eating had a worse pizza. In general the Puget Sound area tends to be clueless about pizza, but I had no idea that one could pay $16.00 for a thin 12" pizza with virtually no tomato sauce, a thin layer of oversalted mozzarella, and a few scattered pepperoni slices so thin as to be tasteless. I had ordered the Pepperoni Classic, which is described as being "Loaded with pepperoni, Italian sausage, black olives, pizza sauce and lots of mozzarella cheese". There were zero olives, zero sausage, virtually zero pizza sauce. In fact, this may have been my first two-dimensional pizza ever! There was so much salt I couldn't eat it. YUCK! When this place opened a branch in Bothell, I was the happiest coz I loved their pizzas from my time in Redmond. The taste however was not as good as the first place. With time it got better. I have no complaints with the taste now but the service sucks. The people on the phone screw up your order, don't properly take your information and after multiple calls of assuring you that the pizza is on the way; they just call you up to say that they need the payment info again. I assumed making one of the two items cheese would mean there would be more cheese than standard. No. The cheese did not even successfully cover the tomato sauce on the pie. There was no more than on the sausage and pepperoni pizza (the second pizza). I also ordered a Greek salad. Usually I think of a Greek salad as made from tomatoes, cucumbers, onion, and olives. I don't call an iceberg lettuce salad with just a dab of the above mentioned ingredients a Greek salad. I don't care if you did add croûtons. Not an enjoyable meal. read more

So I finally tried the pizza and I didn't die. Again, they left the glass on the side, I like the pizza, even though it's not super cheesy. It's different than other pizza places and I like that. I got the two large for $8.99 deal. I tried one with artichoke and feta and another with spinach and garlic. Both had fresh veggies and an abundance of toppings. I really want to try one of the Indian pizzas but was with mixed company and opted to go for something more mild. There's always next time though! It costs $19.51 for one large pizza an delivery. By the time 5:05pm rolled around, Cam called and asked where our pizza was. The person on the phone said it should be on it's way. At 5:30pm he called again and said to them "I don't understand how you think you'll make money if it takes over an hour to get a pizza 3 miles." My boyfriend and I wanted pizza. Lately we have been trying to eat better, so Fridays are our "cheat" days. So there we were, Friday night... desperate to splurge on junk food. After 2 hours (yes 2!) of debating what to get we finally agreed to disagree on where to get it. He wanted his nostalgic Pizza Hut, I wanted something new. We drove by Cam Am.. I screamed STOP and we ordered their smallest garlic chicken pizza (with a side of tzatziki sauce). This pizza was so worth it. I loved the crust and sauce. I wish I could of ate that whole thing but there is no way... Pizza is one of those foods I don't eat often, but lately I have been trying it more. So maybe it was just me, but I thought the pizza was fantastic. This place is definitely worth checking out. We both now want to try one of their Indian pizzas... probably the butter chicken! Apparently they stay open to 1am or 2am on Fridays and Saturdays because there is a "club" next door, so they serve the late crowd. Tonight I ordered a pizza for delivery, a woman picked up the phone where I repeated 3 times that I needed a gluten free crust. The WOMAN, I talked to completed my order and I hung up. The pizza came and it wasn't gluten free so my boyfriend ran to the store really quick and the MAN at the counter was insistent the he took my order and that I never said I wanted a gluten free crust which I asked for like 3 separate times. My boyfriend said he was very aggressive and he could tell he was lying. The woman I spoke to had a heavy accent and my boyfriend said this man had no accent. So obviously he firmly lied to his face about it. He said at one point that he completely started ignoring what my boyfriend was saying and seemed like he was just done with the conversation. Obviously this wasn't a great experience for us, as I was going to try out a pizza shop that was right next to my new apartment. The pizza however is actually okay, and the delivery driver was super helpful when my cat ran out the door as well. The guys have picked up pizza from here on several occasions when they have decided that pizza is needed after I am at work and Pizza Works is closed. Several years ago one of the security guards got a pizza delivered and it had a very thin crust with a huge charred, burn circle in the center - I was not impressed - and had him call for a refund. Since that time, they have changed their crusts to a thicker, (looks par-baked) crust. Their pizzas are OK, almost enough sauce. My one complaint about this place, like so many others, is where's the toppings! The are pretty sparse with sausage, mushrooms, etc. It's OK Pizza and they are open later than any other pizza place in Bothell. read more

well made pizza with the right balance of cheese, toppings and crust. The staff are all friendly and where one of the only pizza places that stayed open during the Snow-pocalypse of '08. They had a really wide selection of items on their menu including Gyros and Ribs. I'm really curious to go back there and try something other than their pizza since i've never seen a pizza place offer these items. They also offer wings, chicken strips, salads, pasta, subs and calzones. If you have a group who're all craving something different, Can Am is perfect!
