We had a reservation for a later dinner, but decided to go in a lot earlier to see if they could take us. Thankfully they had availability but it was a risk because they are notoriously booked!! And we know why...the service was good but the food was the star! It was so very delicious!! Sitting with a sea view also helps make the experience so much better!

We took chance on this spot. Google review was not 100%. It almost seemed like tourist trap. It was party of three. For appetizers we had the: Anchovies Seafood Crocketts Tuna and tomatoes salad Octopus They were all amazing. We had the peeled seafood paella, we had 2 potions, it was more than enough for 3 people. Service was excellent. We definitely would be back for more.

Very good paella no doubt. I would say it matches what I have expected for the price range, but not beyond that. The servers are very friendly and professional, although not the most efficient. Definitely make a reservation ahead of time if you plan to come for dinner! We on a weekday evening with reservation, but we saw a few groups got turned down during our time there.

Sea food Pealla, crispy glass of rosé

Picture this, you had a big night out in Barcelona and are looking to have a relaxing meal by the beach and have a couple drinks to bring you right back. You Uber to Barceloneta and stumble upon Can Majo. You proceed to order a delicious sea food paella with a fairly priced bottle of rose, with the amazing view of the active barcelona beach front. Now turn it into a reality, head to Con Majo and finish it off with a double expresó to keep the party going

Best Paella I tried in Barcelona. I tried 3 places with good Paella reviews in Barcelona but Can Majo have the best, just order the Paella Marinera and you won't be disappointed. We also tried the Squid (deep fried, with squid legs) with lime mayo and we enjoyed it. Service was great!! I will definitely come back, and next time I will also try their Arroz Negro.

Great paella. Can accomodate larger groups . Sangria was also very good. There is seating outside too.

    Veal Entrecotte with mustard sauce.

My friend, who loves seafood, wanted to try this place which left me with little options as I am not a seafood person. Decided to try the Veal Entrecotte with mustard sauce and it was phenomenal. I am a picky eater so I cut off most of the fat, but it had amazing flavor, cooked to what I asked for, and the mustard sauce was a nice touch. Side note, the fries that came with this dish were a combination of red pepper fries, zucchini fries, and regular french fries, which was a pleasant surprise. If you're looking for something non-seafood, try the Veal Entrecotte.

This place was recommended by friends living in Barcelona. I'd give 6 stars if I could based on the food and the location itself. I will never be able to order calamari and fideua elsewhere because this place set the bar way too high. Calamari was thick O pieces with a light crispy batter and just a pinch of salt. Squeeze some lemon over the plate of perfectly battered and fried calamari and you got a winning appetizer. Forget any marinara or tarter sauce - this place will leave you asking why restaurants back home considered having these. We ordered the black ink fideua. The short pasta noodles reminded us of rice-a-roni but add that with the black ink and seafood flavor...heaven. I can never look at another fideua or paella-like dish the same way ever again. This place has legitimately ruined all future calamari and fideua experiences for me. I'm now on the search to find a fideua place at home that can temporarily satisfy me until we return.

I booked a reservation to get the coveted outdoor seating, and I had pretty good first impressions of this place. The paella here is pretty hyped up, and I feel it is just way too overhyped. It was pretty delicious, but not up to my standards at all. The shrimp is a bit stale as it was mushy, but the other seafood were very fresh. For €24/person, I expected significantly more, especially since I could easily eat something else for dinner for around that price total. That is not to say the other food is bad. The sangria is definitely very good and complements well with the seafood. I personally think that cava is to tapas as sangria is to seafood, but your mileage may vary. Regardless, the sangria sort of made up for the mediocre seafood in the paella. The Crema Catalan was also amazing; it is just not as buttery or creamy as the creme brûlée, but I can't really say it's not good just because this is my first time eating it. I guess this is more of a preference.

Excellent service and one of the best places we ate in Barcelona. We got a bottle of cava, the squid ink fideo was delicious, best croquettes I had in Spain, everything was good!

Excellent sangria and vegetarian paella!!!! Nice service, reasonable price and hygienic restaurant.

Food was amazing!!! The only reason why I am mot giving a 5 star is because the servers are a little rude. I recommend you make a reservation. But this was a very good restaurant in front of playa Barceloneta. I tried the Merluza al horno and a glass of albarinho

Very disappointed. Rice was salty and greasy. Very little lobster for the price. Save your money.

Very flavorful and fast experience. Oxtail and mashed potatoes 10/10: the oxtail meet is so tender and flavorful. The mashed potatoes pair so well with the oxtail. Mushroom, steak, and egg yolk 9/10: soo flavorful and balance of veggies and protein. Amazing textures and flavors. Sparkling sangria: 8/10 I don't normally live the taste of alcohol but this was great. Not tooooo strong and if tastes pretty good if you mix it with the orange juice. Fresh orange juice: 10/10 so tangy and delicious. I can't recommend it enough. Patatas bravas: 9/10 solid no complaints! Dessert Tapas: - bread dessert (Tarija): 11/10 amazing dessert that is creamy, cameralized, and has a mochi like texture. This fried chewy dessert is not too sweet and such an affordable price. - coconut pudding 9/10 solid and refreshing if you like flan - bread, chocolate oil, salt 7/10: I live the complex flavors. The chocolate mousse was light and the bread to mousse ratio was perfect. It's a smaller dessert tho I wouldn't recommend it if ur sharing. Service: amazing! Staff I'm everywhere so it was very easy to order more food. Also we were sitting buy the area where they made dessert and they allowed me to record them making it!! Comfortable ambiance great for date night or casual meals!!!

The service was excellent, our server spoke English and knew so much about American pop culture. He even sang NSYNC songs to us while serving us dishes. As for the food let's get into it: - Lobster Croquettes (8/10) We've had a lot of croquettes this trip, but these were on another level, get one per person. - Paella (7.5/10) Different style of paella from other places we went. It was almost like a paella curry, which was still rich and delicious. - Squid Sandwich (10/10) This is hands down the best appetizer I've ever had. The squid was packed with flavor and the mayo sauce they used paired perfectly. Order one per person, and be prepared to order another to go. - Garlic Shrimp (8/10) Solid entree paired with sourdough bread. Dip that bread into the sauce and you'll be satisfied. - Aged Beef Steak w/ Foie Gras (9/10) This might be one of the best steak dishes I've had traveling abroad. It was cooked perfectly, and came with a potato crust on the bottom and Foie Gras on top. Definitely a must order. Overall a great experience, from the service and ambiance to the quality of the food, this is a must try when visiting Barcelona. Would I go again? Absolutely!

The menu has a nice variety of items, and they're all pretty small so you can try a lot. Our favorite was the squid sandwich, a super unique must get! We also really liked the garlic shrimp, which had a nice fragrant flavor from the heads. The tiramisu was also delightful with a nice balance of sweet and bitter flavors. We heard the razor clams were really good, but they didn't have any the day we visited which was a bummer!
