Was passing by early this morning, early enough to walk in and see the fresh chocolate chip Nutella cookies still on the baking sheet and really warm. Holy sh-, yum! I also ordered a latte with 2% milk and a (massive) bottle of water as I didn't see any smaller ones. Service was friendly and fast. Next time in Chino I'll be thinking of those cookies. read more

Cute coffee shop with chill vibes. The interior looks exactly like what you'd see in one of those "zen coffee shop music" videos on YouTube. It's spacious, contemporary, and quaint. A perfect place to get into a productive workflow or have intimate conversations with friends. I got a cappuccino with almond milk, and it was delicious! I wish more sizes were available because it was so yummy, and I could have easily guzzled down more. The service was very friendly. The young lady at the cash register was efficient and welcoming. I would love to come back! Too bad Chino is far from where I live. read more

Second time here, been great both time! Their drinks taste like the ingredients included! Definitely on the sweet side, so if you enjoy coffee forward flavor, get half sweet. The BAM is what I had this time. Great floral taste that don't "perfume-y", nice sweetness from the brown sugar, and a cinnamon finish that is mixed in the espresso very nicely. Addy was a great help and very very nice! I could've kept talking about coffee if she wasn't busy . I will be back again for sure. read more

I've heard great things about Canabru Coffee from Yelp, so I was excited to try it. I chose the blueberry latte since the employee mentioned that it was one of their most popular lattes. It seemed like a unique choice, so I went for it. The blueberry latte really did taste like blueberries, and the drink wasn't too sweet. My mom opted for the Teddy Bear latte with no cinnamon, and she enjoyed it. read more

Disappointed. Came here today at 6:30AM, opening time. It was not open. I waited around for more than 10 minutes and no one showed up. Me and another guy left coffeeless. According to the guy, this was not the first time this had happened to him. read more

I LOVE Canabru! I first stumbled across this coffee shop 3 years ago, when I moved to the area (yes, it's taken me this long to leave a review). My go to order is an iced lavender matcha, but have tried many drinks off their menu. I have yet to be disappointed with any of my coffee drink orders. Along with their drinks, their pastries are also a hit, & not to mention their açaí bowl. The atmosphere is very laid back, but often times a bit busy. Thankfully, there is outdoor seating if inside is too crowded. read more

We came in, our family ordered coffee's and pastries. That was went well, except when my little girl needed to use the restroom and was told by a rude woman wearing a black and white stripped top, jeans, and black hair thrown into a messy pony. I understand it's the end of the night and she was cleaning up an hour before the establishment closes, but to rudely tell my little girl she couldn't use the restroom "the floors wet!, um that's why the signs up!!!" Strongly stating this from across the entire establishment. My daughter was so embarrassed by her shouting it out for everyone to hear, mind you there's about more than a dozen patrons in here, that my husband had to take her elsewhere to use the restroom! I also had to use it as my colostomy bag was full and having this disability sometimes you can't wait and need to replace immediately. It's so sad that people these days have no regards for children or others when needing to use a restroom, she selfishly just wanted her restroom to remain clean until closing time. We will never come back that's for sure. read more

I love Canabru Coffee! We don't live in the area, but this has been a favorite coffee pitstop whenever our travel route takes us this way, usually to and from LA. Service has always been friendly with the myriad of baristas we've met. I always get a large Iced Mocha. It comes with four shots of espresso, and the espresso taste is (thankfully) present with just the right amount of chocolate (whereas other places put too much chocolate, masking the coffee taste). It is so delicious and helps me so much with the drive. I'll be sure to try a signature drink of theirs sometime (note to self). I love trying eclectic flavors. The vibe is really nice here. Clean. Awesome decor and merch. Calm color scheme. Plenty of space to sit, study, work, hangout. We're normally on the go, so hopefully there will be a time when my boyfriend and I can just stay for awhile. read more

I wish I could give this place a 4.5! Comfy ambience, came at a time when there was a lot of available seating (Thursday evening). Outlets, wifi, and fudge bars - great place to study or read. I'm a harsh a critic when it comes to Matcha Lattes, and I really enjoyed this one! My friend got a warmed up cookie and said it was okay, but enjoyed her Iced Caramel Latte. The worker helping us, Mason, was very friendly! Will definitely be back. read more

Pros: the vibes of the coffee shop is cozy and quiet. It is a good place to study alone or hangout with friends. The food and drink options are delicious. Great coffee shop! It's easy to spot from the street and located nearby other stores and restaurants. Great laid back atmosphere as soon as you enter. Lots of seating available and decor is cute and trendy. Came on a Monday morning and it wasn't too busy. The baristas were very nice and service was pretty fast. I ordered an Iced Honey Vanilla Latte and waited about 5 mins for my $7 drink. Glad I found this spot. Will definitely be coming back for coffee or to just get some work done! read more

The coffee here was pretty mediocre. Maybe I just had a bad experience with a bad espresso extraction. As for the flavor I could taste all the notes of the flavor, especially though all the cinnamon they added, still pretty nice if they excited their coffee better. They are also pretty slow at making your coffee, I was waiting for 15+ minutes for mine. So do keep that in mind if you're in a time crunch. The ambiance was very calming and I love how they decorated the place. I do believe they're open pretty late night so if you're looking for a place to study or work this is definitely the place for that. read more

Being a lover of all things craft coffee in the IE area, I must admit I came late to the Canabru party. A friend of mine and fellow craft lover has been going here for years and I never thought of going. Once I finally gave Canabru a try, I realized how long I slept on this place. My first drink the strawberry latte. One thing I think canabru does better than everyone else are their fruit lattes. They have blueberry, raspberry and strawberry. All are great and made from their own signature jams, but you will probably find your own favorite. I like the strawberry and raspberry the most. The quality of Canabru can't be denied. Beyond the fruit lattes, they carry a lot of other signature lattes. They have a really good Spanish latte which I would say would be my second favorite to the fruit lattes. Lastly I would say this place gets really busy on the weekends. A combination of weekend crowds and people who come to study or work come together. It is nice to have a real coffee shop where people come inside and stay to drink good coffee and conversation. Canabru is one of the best coffee shops in the IE, depending on your personal taste it may become your personal favorite. read more

Canabru Coffee is fluent in latte. They have a dedicated menu just for all the latte variations you can get with sections for mocha lattes, honey lattes, berry lattes, and their special lattes. I love that they have fun flavors like teddy graham, sasquatch, and blueberry muffin! My favorite (so far)? The Spanish Latte!! It's sweetened with condensed milk and infused with just a hint of cinnamon making it the perfect morning pick-me-up. I prefer my lattes hot, and drinking it was like a warm hug. The space also makes for a great option if you need to get away from your desk at home to get work done. I'd gladly spend some time holed up here. There are plenty of tables (and outlets!), cute plant decor, and lots of parking. read more

It's very rare that I complain or just leave bad feedback especially because I am fond of local mom and pop shops. However, I've given Canabru many tries to be consistent. I used to spend most of my days here studying as the ambiance and music are very relaxing, and there's plenty of seating. However, the quality of the coffee or matcha has been inconsistent and in fact, has been declining. Unfortunately, today, was probably my last time stopping by. I ordered a Teddy latte with light ice because it was hot out and I didn't want it to water down the coffee. My first sip, it tasted very watered down and milky instead of like espresso. I had to ask my partner to taste it to make sure it wasn't just me. I gave it another mix just in case since syrups tend to sink to the bottom, and still the same. When trying to resolve the issue with the barista, she just said, "what do you want me to do?" and we just settled on adding another espresso shot. I tasted it again, and just threw it out. After reviewing some of the recent reviews, I see that I am not the only customers that has experienced the watered down tasting drinks. Hoping Canabru can improve! read more

I absolutely love their coffee and fell in love with their semi big croissants. I know they're pricey at almost 7 bucks. I was sad though as I went one day and the croissant was burnt and the size of my palm. It shrunk. Lol. I still love this place but I'll skip the croissant. It's a sign from God to stop it with the carbs. I loved how big they were because they were$7. read more

Visited here on a morning date. It was pretty busy so I can excuse the wait time for service/coffee. I ordered a Sasquatch Latte and Almond Danish, while my date ordered the Spanish Latte and the Chocolate Croissant. We waited about ~10 minutes for the coffee and took in the admittedly very decorative and cozy environment. The lattes were pretty good. Mine definitely tasted high quality (although lacking in flavor) and my dates was very good (according to her. My almond danish is possibly the best danish I've ever had (although i have not had many) and her chocolate croissant was nice. I am docking off stars because of the price, being a little too much, the water cups being shot glass size, and the fact that I ordered a large latte but received a regular. I didn't bother asking for replacement because I am shy. Would visit here again though simply for the coziness and the home-shed vibe and the quality. Hopefully next time not as busy. read more

I really do love Canabru. However, I am taking off one star because I've honestly been about 20 times in the past year.... and at first like the first 3 times it was amazing. The times after that it seemed VERY INCONSISTENT. I think it depends on the barista working? Either way, it's good coffee, I just think staff could be a little less distracted in my opinion. I have seen that sometimes there is a disconnect between order taker and barista. There have been a few instances where my drinks have been incorrect, not labeled, and/or taste completely different than the previously ordered time even though I ordered it the same exact way. Overall, I do like Canabru, the have authentic coffee and friendly staff for the most part, but I really would like to see more focus around making drinks. Cheers! read more

Coffee was good but I had ordered their "savory croissant" which took them 20 minutes to make a croissant with a slice of cheese with some mustard and ham. 7$ for this was outrageous. But aside from the croissant coffee was pretty good. read more

Came on a Friday early afternoon and it was quite packed. Thankfully we were able to find outdoor seating. My friend and I kind of found the menu a little confusing with the layout but the employee helped clarify some things. We ordered the Raspberry latte and Dark Chocolate Raspberry latte. Lattes were about $7-$8 which felt a little bit expensive to be paying for a latte but I understand that everything had been hiking up in price. The dark chocolate raspberry latte tasted exactly like one of those chocolates you find in the heart-shaped chocolate boxes that you buy for yourself on Valentine's Day aka the flavor was spot on to the name of the drink haha. Overall, seems like a popular study spot with good drinks. Although, a tad bit on the expensive side. read more

The maple latte was decent. Cute place. Service was friendly. There was an issue that another customer experienced that left a bad taste and I wouldn't come back. Dear owner: please provide larger cups for water. Another customer ask for a larger cup and was told it would be $1: What?! The water cups provided were smaller than the cups my dentist provides for me to rinse my mouth. That is a ridiculous cup size for water and to charge $1 for a larger cap, is not okay. I go out of my way to suport local coffee shops but when I hear that this owner would nickel and dim customers for cups...I would not come back again. read more

Like many other places, they changed for the worse after the pandemic. They USED to be good pre-pandemic. I'm pretty bummed about it. The coffee is not as tasty as before, I'm not sure if they changed their beans, brewing method, or different staff, but the coffee is VERY watered down. I see some other reviewers experienced the same. This is across the board with all their drinks I've tried - coldbru, lattes, drip, and espresso. I've been here a few times in the last year and I've always been disappointed. I feel like the coffee has become the equivalent of those small coffee bars at airports and hospitals that "Proudly serve Starbucks" but all the drinks taste even worse. For a local coffee shop, I'm surprised they don't use "barista" milk as their alternative milks, just your basic oat/almond milk. My last visit, their POS/reward system wasn't working properly and I was unable to redeem my points. Apparently, this is a consistent problem as I heard the employees complaining behind the counter about someone refusing to fix stuff until "it absolutely has to be fixed." Probably not the most professional.. although.. I get it. Since the POS sucks, they told me to tell them I have a reward next time around.. but I don't think there will be a next time. Coffee aside.. the interior is calm and inviting - perfect for studying! It's usually pretty warm in there, don't expect to need a sweater. They also have a variety of fudge, pastries, and cookies! The cookies are shortbread - chocolate chip or chocolate chip with Nutella, both pretty good! They also have some merchandise - a selection of coffee beans, insulated cups, and snacks. read more

Loved the coffee here! My friends & I wanted to try a new coffee place so we stumbled onto Canabru. The person that took our order was patient & kind. Which is appreciated as looking at a new coffee menu takes some time! I ended up getting their gingersnap latte with oatmilk. It was super good! The ambiance was cute & comfortable. good place to study! Free WiFi and seating was good on a Sunday morning. Barista was enthusiastic and recommended the "Teddy bear latte " (cinnamon brown sugar latte). It came out to be $7+ after tips, on the expensive side. It wasn't really what I was looking for so it's a 6/10 for me. I'd come back to try a cold brew and read if I were in the area tho! read more

I felt my stress immediately fade away as this chill, crisp tea carried me along a honeyed, happy adventure. In that moment, I found unadulterated, bottled joy. (Important Note: Cash is not accepted. Bring Card or Contactless Payment. Also, be wary of the sugar levels if sensitive. I selected 30% sugar, and it still fired a welcomed, punchy sugary taste.) I arrived at Chun Yang Tea (Chino) on Tuesday (around 3:21PM). Parking is very easy. The lot is HUGE! Chun Yang Tea (Chino) is a stall in the Eat Up Food Court inside the 99 Ranch Store. Customers primarily order at the self-service kiosk. Customers can also order at the counter, but Staff speaks limited English. Staff is very hardworking and professional. My drink took about one minute. FAST!! As mentioned, I absolutely adored the Osmanthus Honey Oolong Tea ($5.99 - 30% Sugar - Quarter Ice). I had to hold back the instinct to cry tears of joy. The tea flavor is prominent, fresh, and not burnt. The liquid is honey-like, thirst-quenching, and refreshing. I absolutely LOVE this drink. I had to immediately fight back the urge to purchase another. On ambiance, Chun Yang Tea (Chino) surprised me. It's located in a foodcourt, but the location felt clean, well-ventilated, and useful. I saw several flat screen TVs playing the baseball game with English captions. Upbeat, playful music chimed. And there's a Gender Neutral restroom several feet away. In addition, the location is spacious. There's over seven nearby tables. And there's two available electrical outlets nearby the stall. However, if I had to nitpick, there's a very faint scent of the Asian grocery store in the background. It's very faint, but it's noticeable. Parking is easy since it's in a large plaza for grocery store patrons. Instead of walking through the 99 ranch store entrance, I used their food hall door. I walked right inside and noticed they had 5 other food areas, though I don't recall any of them besides the bar. I walked up to the boba shop and there wasn't a cashier, only a kiosk. The bobarista was actually enjoying his meal. He quickly got up to assist me and my order. As I stood around, I watched him make my drink while looking at the decor. He made my drink fairly quickly and I was able to drink it while going grocery shopping. The green tea is decent and the boba had a good chewy consistency and size. The purple rice was very interesting and unique! It was my first time having a topping like it and it's exactly what it sounds like: rice in milk tea. Overall a decent boba spot. I need to come back to try other drinks. Nothing makes it memorable for me just yet, but I'm willing to come back to try it again!

3.5 stars Funnily…read moreenough, I never knew that there was an H Mart in Chino, or rather existed in-between Sam's Club and Kohls! I visit this plaza often due to Sam's Club, but rarely drive in the plaza towards Kohls so I was surprised when my friend told me the other week. I needed to head to both Kohls and Sam's Club for errands and stopped by H Mart to grab a few items. I am spoiled by the H Mart in Diamond Bar (DB), so I was expecting something along the same lines but it was a bit different in this location. It is cleaner but some of the produce and fruit were not as fresh as the DB location. Also, there was an entire fridge aisle of alcohol drinks! That sure was a sight to see, since I do not ever recall seeing that in the DB location, or at least not that close to the entrance, let alone across from the produce and fruit. We did see a worker throwing out prepared food, so they must be clearing out already prepared food halfway through the day or something because we were surprised as it was still early afternoon. We do not recommend purchasing the prepped sweet potato here as they are dry and hard, not as fresh as the DB location. We were able to find what we needed and were on our way. The lines to the cashier are very short so it is convenient, as compared to the lines at the DB location, along with the always busy parking lot. This location is a bit smaller than others and also a bit pricier, probably due to the location. Overall, it is convenient if one is in the area and need a few items, but this would not be my main H Mart to shop at.
