My daughter recommended this place so we went to try it out Customer Service was good It was a bit busy but moved quickly We ordered 4 different drinks and a apple pastry We waited a bit Received our items had to ask the young lady to label the coffees we had no clue what was what she did Also one of the drinks was made different than the first time my daughter ordered it the whole reason we came to this place she loved it She explained it to the young lady and was told oh okay I'll add the cream to the top but next time will be a charge. weird right I'm assuming everyone is trained on how to make the drinks so I think it's weird people are making them different and then possibly charging extra The apple danish was delicious The banana cream latte didn't have a banana taste at all Coffee shop is nice on plain side very beige So if you order a drink and like it, it might not be the same next time

I've been so excited to try Mont Coffee because I've heard so much great things about it. Mont is in a busy location, next to a bowling alley and lots of eatery places which get crowded easily. When I arrived, there was a little line that moved quickly. I ordered the double matcha. There was a lot of seating options. I wouldn't recommend this place to study, though, it gets a little loud--at times. I couldn't really hear myself nor talk to my sister. I waited around 5 minutes to receive my drink, which was better than I expected, since there was a line. The matcha was decent, a solid 7/10. It wasn't anything extraordinary, but wasn't terrible. I really enjoyed the matcha cold foam. Mont is a cute cafe, you can even purchase Rocky's Matcha here. It's a simple spot with good service.
Fantastic coffee chop located in Chino Hills! I frequent this plaza overall, and have been meaning to try Mont Coffee. Parking is a cinch since it's connected to a large shopping plaza. We walked in and were immediately discussing their cool speaker they had, sitting on the floor. We spent some time checking out their menu before deciding what we wanted to order. The cashier was kind to us as we ordered a banana latte and a tonic. I also opted for their croffle, which the cashier kindly warmed up for us. We sat down near the window and started enjoying our items. They had a steady influx of patrons coming in and out of the cafe. My banana latte was wonderful! I could taste the balance of coffee and milk, with a subtle mix of banana. There were actual banana bits in my drink, too. The croffle is probably the main star of the show though. It was warm, crunchy, and sticky at the same time. It had a nice fluffy pull to every bite. I would absolutely come back for a croffle and another drink! Great tastes and vibes.
The coffee shop itself is a very modern aesthetic type of coffee shop. Craft coffee is what I look for and this lives up to it. I've been on an espresso tonic craze right now and if that's what you're looking for, their orange espresso tonic does the job! I think it has a good balance of sweetness and bitterness from the tonic and espresso. My fiancé got the banana cream latte and has a good banana flavor to the latte. Highly recommend this place for coffee and would love to try out their other lattes.
I visited Mont Coffee on a Sunday morning. The place was pretty active, with a line of 15+ people, but it was moving relatively quickly. Parking was easy. I want to acknowledge all the staff, as they were polite and worked fast the whole time I was there! The interior is wonderful and an ideal place to work or catch up with friends, though seating may be scarce and/or uncomfortable. Half of their chairs are backless barstools, while half of their general seating is against a wall. I tried the Banana Cream Matcha, and in one word, it was... scrumptious. I got my drink shortly after ordering, which was impressive considering how busy it was. There was a good balance between the matcha and the banana cream. The pastries caught my eye, too, but I decided to save trying those for a future visit.
Mont is my girlfriend and I's favorite spot for some coconut matcha! The customer service is always super well & they are all so friendly! Very clean location & will definitely recommend!
Coconut matcha is delicious! So light and refreshing! The tables and seating is not aesthetically pleasing or comfortable.
Got the unsweetened matcha and I would say it is pretty great! Not too earthy, but still has that great green tea taste with mild sweetness. They use Rocky's matcha. They also sell baked goods, but looked like they were selling out fast. The shop itself is quite large with enough space to seat 20-30 people. There was a long line to order but went by fast. They sell a few matcha and coffee products located near the register.
Another Coffee shop in the Chino Valley area that has carved its niche as well. With tasty pastries and the BEST banana foam I've had in the area, I will come here and enjoy a cup of coffee. Wish they had bigger tables to lounge as I have yet to get a seat. They are all 2 seaters and they usually have a person studying or working on a laptop.
Was in the area for work so stopped by since it had good reviews and the matcha looked yummy. I got a hot matcha which was not great 3/5 and a biscoff croissant which was delicious 4/5. Would've tasted better if warmed tho. Matcha was too sweet for my liking but maybe when iced it tastes less sweet so I'll have to try it another time. Overall it's a cute cafe and the workers were nice.
I was so excited to see a cute matcha/coffee shop pop up in Chino Hills! Parking was easy! I was surprised to see the inside on a Monday pretty packed, but they got through the orders very quickly. I ended up getting the Strawberry Matcha Latte, from the help of the cashier. The strawberry flavor was super prominent and strong!! There's strawberry seeds inside, so you know it's real fruit. My only critique would be that the drink was pretty sweet and it was difficult to see the matcha flavor through the sweetness and strawberry. Something to note for those who like their drinks not so sweet!! I'd ask for less sugar next time.
Second time visiting this place after 4 weeks. I got hot matcha latte with oatmilk again, but it was very watery this time. I could barely taste the matcha flavor. It's very sad to see the drastic quality difference within a month. I would give the drinks 3.5/5 since their coffee still tastes the same as before. However, their matcha is not outstanding. This time I was able to see that their matcha is not whisked, the matcha batch is pre-made. The service is still nice and great. I hope they are able to keep up with their quality. I'm not sure if I would want to go back again or recommend it to anyone.

I'm usually the girlie who meal preps and rarely eats out--especially for breakfast--but this place has become my latest obsession, and it's happily taking all my money. I've been coming here 2-3 times a week (both weekdays and weekends), and it's no surprise that it's always busy. Despite that, the service is quick, and the food and drinks are consistently delicious. It's surprisingly hard to find a café that excels at both, but they absolutely do. My go-to drink is the Mont Matcha Cream, and I usually rotate between the salt bread, ham croffle, and their regular croffle. A lot of coffee shops disappoint when it comes to matcha, but not here. The matcha flavor is rich and perfectly balanced, and if you want an even stronger matcha taste, you can always add an extra shot. I actually tried salt bread in Korea and thought it was just okay, but this place completely changed my mind. Their version has a creamy filling that takes it to another level. I know "salt bread" sounds incredibly simple, but sometimes simple is exactly what hits the spot--and this one absolutely does. read more

I was really excited to try this place BUT unfortunately there are no dairy free cold foam options here. If you have a dairy sensitivity/allergy, don't expect them to have any trendy matcha cold foam drinks. I came here wanting to try their signature cream-top matcha latte or double matcha latte. I saw that they use Rocky's Matcha which was one of the main reasons I wanted to try this place. The cashier informed me that they did not have any dairy-free cream top options for matcha lattes and wanted me to try the New Orleans but it was coffee-based and I came in for their matcha. She also told me they couldn't even make the double matcha without using milk. I ended up ordering the matcha latte with almond milk and it was okay. (FYI there's also a 50¢ up-charge for using alternative milk.) If I had known they didn't have matcha cold foam, I would've just purchased a matcha tin and made this at home. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of dairy-free cold foam options. It's 2026, there's no excuse for not being allergy-friendly with trendy drinks. I understand this business is still "soft opening" but they really need to consider expanding their menu to cater to people that have milk allergies or vegan. read more

First timer at this cute coffee shop hidden in Chino Hills. We got an iced vanilla latte and a coconut matcha. I'm still new to matcha, but this was seriously amazing. It had this thick foam and a super fresh coconut water. 10/10, I'd come back just for that! My husband loved his vanilla latte too. We've tried a bunch of lattes around here, but he said this one and another spot close to home are top faves, and that says a lot. Definitely coming back to try more. We also had a strawberry and cream croissant, which kinda tasted like tres leches in a croissant, which was weird but bomb & the chocolate croissant was my fave. Husband loved the strawberry one. Overall, 10/10, super packed! Can't wait to see this place do well! read more
NEW CHINO HILLS COFFEE SHOP Mont Coffee just opened this week and it's already a huge hit with lines out the door. We enjoyed their signature Mont Latte and Banana Cream Matcha. For my other kid, fresh strawberry puree milk was slurped up within seconds. A must order pastry is definitely a croissant waffle. It's so perfect with the deep buttery ridges. I can see this coffee shop getting crazier day by day. If you need seating, there a few spots inside and outside. Love how there is plenty of parking. We visited this new coffee shop in Chino Hills a few days ago and tried the Mont Cream Top, Double Matcha and salt bread. Mont Cream Top: 4/5 Pretty strong coffee. You can taste a bit of sourness from the beans. The cream top adds sweetness so definitely mix it well for a better balance. Double Matcha: 3/5 A bit too sweet for me and the matcha flavor isn't very strong. Salt Bread: 5/5 Would honestly come back just for this alone! So good!!! definitely eat it while it's warm. Staff was friendly and the space is nice too. Overall, a solid spot to check out. read more
Come in for the coffee, leave with a bag of salt bread. Seems like in the past month, about three new coffee shops have taken root in Chino Hills and opened its doors to the public, and Mont Coffee is proudly making its mark as part of the holy trifecta. Entering the space, vintage/japandi/midcentury modern interior deco w Olivia Dean playing in the background. Came in at around 9am and realized their salt bread was already sold out. Got the New Orleans signature for myself and some other baked goods. Had our toddler w us and they mentioned kids get a free drink! Score. Settled down at a table and a minute later, the nice cashier lets me know a fresh new batch of salt bread is out. They give me one without having to wait in the long line (pay later). And let me tell you, that thing was crack. Can I say that here? We ended up buying more to take home for the family. Really loved my first experience here. What a great addition to CH. Congrats to the Mont crew! I'll def be back (often). read more
I'm so happy Chino Hills is expanding their collection of cafes! Mont Coffee took over the previous Gong Cha and made the space more lovely. Music inside is pretty loud but they have outdoor seating as well. The double matcha was good but not as strong as I would have liked. The cup size is also on the smaller side and for the price I'm paying, I'd rather make the trip to OC. Overall, I'm looking forward to trying their other items since this is a local cafe for me :) read more

Coconut matcha really has no flavor. The matcha cream tastes like nothing to be honest. All you taste is the coconut water. Will have to try other drinks but this one wasn't good read more

This place keeps me coming back for their banana cream matcha latte and their croffles always a hit! the staff is very friendly and the service is quick even when it's packed but my order never feels like it's prepped in a rush if that makes sense lol worth the price! read more

The coffee and matcha here were actually very good, but the overall experience was a bit of a mixed bag. The inside of the shop feels incredibly plain and looks almost unfinished. We also wanted to grab a pastry to go with our drinks, but ended up skipping it after noticing a fly hanging out inside the pastry cabinet that the staff hadn't spotted. Great drinks, but the environment and pastry setup could use some work. read more

Mont has quickly become one of my go-to coffee spots in Chino Hills. The service is always friendly, welcoming, and attentive. On my most recent visit, Lana took my order and was incredibly helpful. I ordered the Vanilla Latte w/ Oat Milk. On a previous visit I did order the same, but added cold foam and they topped it with cocoa (which was fire) One thing I really appreciate is how efficiently they prepare drinks without sacrificing quality or care. The coffee is consistently well-balanced and flavorful, never overly sweet. It's nice to find a place that delivers great service and excellent coffee. read more

Nothing says "great life choices" like drinking ceremonial-grade matcha at night and pretending caffeine won't have consequences later. We stopped by Mont Coffee for a regular matcha latte and a coconut matcha latte... both smooth, earthy, and legit!! I'm a plain matcha loyalist, while my pineapple husband went full tropical vacation mode with the coconut version. Shoutout to the one-man army behind the counter who was somehow taking orders, making drinks, and surviving the long line like a caffeinated superhero. Bonus points because they use ceremonial-grade matcha, aka the good green stuff that makes your soul feel boujie!! read more

I was looking for a new coffee/matcha spot and came across Mont Coffee and am so glad I stopped by to try it! I was between the Mont Cream Top and Banana Cream Matcha, and Steve was helpful by recommending the Banana one for my first time. I have to point out-- I SO appreciate the fact that Steve let me know they use 2% milk as a standard for their drinks and asked if that was alright with me, which then I said I preferred a dairy alternative. I can't tell you the number of times I've forgotten to order something without cow milk at Starbucks or some other coffee shop, and ended up not being able to drink it, which totally sucks. So, thank you for your thoughtfulness!!!! I also tried their croffle warmed up which was delicious. I must have waited maybe 5 minutes or less on a late Saturday morning. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and quick service. I'll be back! read more

The owner of the cafe was very very nice and friendly he would take care every drinks. He noticed my matcha tea was too strong so he changed it and gave my a new cup immediatelyHowever, I actually like the strong version of matcha I am huge fan of Common Good Matcha and Rocky Matcha thus I will defiantly come back again to try the other drinks.
