The tv that I was looking for was out of stock and the price had gone up from the time I had selected it in another outlet. He was kind enough to offer a decent discount to meet halfway of the previous discount. The next day which is today when I walked into bestbuy I unfortunately met with Josh manager who gave me a higher price (although yesterday he was the one who had approved this price to Josh) and when I explained my yesterday's conversation with Josh to his manager he said he can honor the price promised only if I go for a 4 yr protection plan which will cost another 479$ extra. This is so unethical and not customer centric. I mean his executive Josh was able to do a better job than Joy in handling my issue. He did not even allow us to return our tv in this center as it was purchased on financing option from Surrey outlet. Some Chinese lady who I think works in customer service was literally watching me like a hawk and following me seeing what the heck I was doing, I mean what am I going to do, steal a bunch of dirty plastic bags from the recycling bin? I took it home and guess what....it didn't work, therefore, had to take it all the way back again. What the issue was: The net book would fire up, it would take a long time for the windows screen to appear and then it would go black again. They told me that it was a problem with my screen, however, after the looked into it they said it had nothing to do with my screen but instead did some software upgrades and changes. After I reported that it didn't work they said, "Oh it's your hard drive." So why the hell wouldn't you check that in the first place? They charged me $50 for the software service and now I have to pay for the hard drive issue? For the record my lap top is under 5 years, therefore, I shouldn't be having these issues.
