I wish I had positive feedback about Visions in Port Coquitlam but I don't. I have bought a number of things from this store in the past and have had an excellent experience. So when my car stereo went last month the first place I went to was Visions. The guy that helped me out went through all the features and benefits of the JVC stereo he sold me. I was very pleased with it as it worked well in my vehicle. 3 weeks after buying it I began to have issues with the screen so I went back in to the store to see what could be done. This is when my views on Visions changed. The guy that greeted me at the door listen to my story but when he realized I was not there to buy anything but for a warranty issue he didn't have the time of day for me. His answer to my problem was that I need to contact JVC and send it in to them. I have a hard time with this as I only bought the car stereo 3 weeks ago and there should be something that Visions could do for me. Either way I am very disappointed with the customer service that I received and feel that I should express to everyone how the service this time REALLY SUCKED!!! I have a Buyer Beware Story from this store. I'm only name-dropping, so you know what to ask the workers you speak to at the store. I bought a TV from Adib Al-Faraj in 2022. We were super happy about his customer service, and he was pretty good at getting us a perfect deal. However, it became a problem regarding the insurance they wanted to sell. At first, I said no, I take care of my TV, and I'm not worried about it. But he told us, "Once you get the insurance, no matter what happens to the TV, you will get a free TV." I asked, "So If I throw a baseball at the TV, I will get a new TV." He said, "Yes." 2024, my TV Broke. The guys they hired to check what happened to the TV came in to check and said it was physical damage. They don't cover physical damage. So, I was misinformed--the first one. Then I talked to Mario about these problems as he was the store manager. Mario did his best to suit my needs, but the warranty doesn't cover physical damage. Even over the phone, Mario assured me I would get a new TV--misinformation number 2. I had to buy a new TV, and because Mario was doing his best, I purchased a TV again at Visions. I was asked what the payments were. He said, "Over 2 years, just pay whatever you want monthly. Just as long as you pay it off in two years." Misinformation three. You need to make a payment that is decided whatever Flexiti thinks it is, and Flexiti won't tell you what it is. You have to figure it out yourself every month. I just divided the number by 24 and thought those were the payments, and I was wrong. Now, I'm paying the entire interest out, and I'm now out of $3500. I hope this story helps people purchasing products at this store and know that those you talk to at the store don't know what they are talking about when it comes to after the sale and don't trust their words. And hopes the salesperson and manager of the store get some more training so they don't hurt more customers financially. read more

I have never in my entire adult life had suck a horrific customer journey/experience of my life please be warned. Do not buy any of their electronic goods anywhere. My brand new RD 1000 amp bass knob port doesn't work yet they charged me full price for my entire setup and still had the nerve to add insurance to that same amp. And refuse to swap it out for a brand new one on the spot right after it has been purchased because the manager doesn't even have the decency to come to the front desk and have a chat with me to see how we can get this whole mess sorted out. So I emailed the regional manager and still nothing. Not a single reply. Unbelievable!! A journey which has span since Sept 2021 until now got JL fitted, bass knob installed no bass but speakers wasn't playing until I pulled the bass knob out. Oh we tested it with every tool we had. It wasn't working tough luck we refuse to swop it you sit with what you have. Plus we will now charge you again just to wait another 3 months + because we gave you a faulty amp to begin with. And we'll charge you insurance that is no good if the product is already faulty. From the start. I still haven't managed to get that regional manager to even acknowledge I exist as a $5000 odd price tag paying customer who is now so fed up he is going to tell the world about you and then you can see for yourselves how many likes for disliking your company for every single moral it's breaking in business by going about it in such a disgusting way. You call that treating the customer fairly? Really. You still have the nerve to charge me for insurance when I categorically told you not to but you did it anyway. Unbelievable. You best fix this situation before I hit the BBB. And so what if you're not registered, you don't deserve to be on there. You're disgusting in the way you do business. What if I was an old lady that couldn't type to save my life...what would you do then...still rip her off. Yeah that's what I thought Lucac - supposed store manager from Visions Langly BC. He has been the whole reason behind my anger and frustration. Selling me and installing faulty goods. Unethical business practice. So is sneaking in a warrantee you specifically didn't ask for yet bill your credit card company because he can. Really Lucas? No you cannot simply do that there is no statute of limitations on what the public will do to you. They will shame you for what you have done to a innocent consumer all the way from South Africa where the currency is 14 times weaker. Shame on you for taking advantage of someone who is generally voice less in this world. But I told you in no uncertain terms what I was going to do and here I'm doing it. Now fix immediately as I'm only getting started. First of many complaints. And they will haunt you until your brand rots down to the core because you are an effixiation of the human kind. Your business morals and treatment of a hard working person in a greedy money grabbing stealing world. You stole from my credit card company. Visa you can go sue the man now. I've got all the receipts on hard copy for you. That man with the sheepish grin behind the counter with the name of Lucas even had the nerve to print out the invoice with that I asked him for thinking I wouldn't notice that sneaky addition. Not once but twice I asked them not to add insurance. First Nipuna from Port Coquitlam then Lucas from Langley. I buy on credit to work hard to pay it back but you just think it's ok to steal from customers. That is a crime punishable by sanction. I just got to get this out to potential customers who would be shopping at visions in poco don't. We purchased a extended warranty for a thousand dollars on a (Soundstage) JBL sound bar it went south a year later. Thankfully we bought the extended warranty and they shipped it to get fixed this is where the problem started. It took two months to get it back to us, we finally picked it up today and there were no power cords or cables in the box and the remote doesn't work lol I did not know that's how extended warranties work, isn't it supposed to come back fixed not worse off. Very disappointing experience. I booked an appointment to have a dash camera installed and they told me to come at 11am, it would take approximately 2 - 2 1/2 hours to complete. I was warned it could take a bit longer, but, when I arrived I was told the installer would arrive at 12 and decide which job to do first! So I had to come a whole hour early for nothing! They said most people drop off their vehicle for the whole day. I guess that is nice if you have a partner and 2 cars, I don't, plus I have a disability and it was painful that day so I was prepared to sit for 3 hours, but when they said it could take until closing at 6 I cancelled, that was just too much. I went to another location that could guarantee me 3 hours maximum, and as a bonus, the cost was less! read more

All employees I dealt with made me feel comfortable, understood what I was buying and made sure that I got the best possible price. I have an absolutely no complaints. read more

Worst experience here ever! I came to buy some stereo equipment for a friend who wanted to install a car stereo. I collected all the gear I needed and when I got to the cashier they told me the listed prices were not going to be honored. Which was a total difference of over $800. Needless to say this is absolutely ridiculous, I asked to talk to the manager who came and proceeded to give me attitude about what they can and cannot do. How did he make it to manager, when he should clearly understand that misrepresenting prices is illegal as per the Competition Act, The Canadian Advertising Standards, The Consumer Protection Act, and more. Dear Visions in PoCo, I'm glad that while I was reciting to you the laws of our country, at least 5 different groups of people left after realizing what you tried to do to me. Your attitude was beyond unacceptable when you got caught doing something illegal. I encourage anybody who went to Visions PoCo to check your receipt to see if the defrauded you as well. read more

If I could give them no stars I would. Terrible rude service, I got them to install a stereo in my wife's car. After paying for all the parts and labor before they installed I made sure she didn't have anything else to do, other than show up on her day for install. On install day the installer came to work late, the staff again were very rude and when we picked up the car there was additional charges to our already paid bill. When asking for the manager, the manager claimed "the car audio manager made a mistake and since the work is done you have to pay". We paid the extra money reluctantly to which he replied " its just __$, not like its a lot of money". How does he know our money situation? Very rude customer service. I am shocked and can't believe I am writing a 5 star review for an electronic store but the tv buying experience from Mario was beyond my expectations. He somehow found the best balance between influencing/persuading, giving me accurate knowledge and then backing off to give me time to discuss with family without him interfering, and recommending the best value TVs to fit my budget and lifestyle. He didn't up-sell in an aggressive way, seemed honest and gave me a great deal. I usually find salesmen annoying and Mario actually made the purchase easy. Very grateful for his time and expertise. Terrible service. Bought a car stereo from them last October. Went back to have them install it in the exact same car only 2 years newer and they wanted to sell me all new wiring to install!! It was the exact same car. Never cut any wires when I took it out of the old car. Talked to the manager about it and backed his installer decision.(said there warrrenty would cover install). There warrenty is not worth a crap. Had problems with the install in the first place and they wouldn't even stand behind there first install. Lol I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. It sure how there corporate office lets them run business like this. I am a manager myself and if I did that to My customers I would have any!!! read more

SO disappointed , after misquoting me for a car starter on the phone, guarenteeing me no extra costs etc... telling me to come down & prepay for the appointment, packing up 2 young children, driving quite far to their location, to find out they gave me the wrong deal, the wrong item & I have to buy a different starter, more expensive. The manager agreed to honor the price I was originally quoted at least & I paid for & booked the install. When the starter was installed, they didn't even ask me how long to set the run time for & left it at the smallest setting so it turned off too quickly, then for the car lock honk (using the fob) for lock/unlock it was set for 2 honks for both. Too many honks, sometimes the unlock button didn't work plus you have to hit the unlock button twice to unlock all the doors, not just the driver side door, so I was honking 4 times, sometimes six times in a parking lot with everybody looking at me like I was some crazy idiot honking away with my car. When I phoned to get this corrected they said they could not do only 1 honk to lock my doors & 0 honks for unlock, either All honks or Nothing. We can put a man on the moon but we can't figure out how to make it honk 1 time. Then they tell me my car, from Factory, didn't allow for this type of honking? Like how long did it take to make that up? Then I have to bring my car in again & leave it for four hours, I have to walk around outside, wasting time, waiting, with 2 small children, in the rain, while they take their time figureing out what they should already know. I get it back, they've corrected the runtime, disconnected the honks & I find they disabled my Panic alarm without telling me?? Not acceptable, then I have to book in another appointment so they can reinstate my Panic alarm, after talking to the car starter company, they found out it needs a firmware upgrade, probably old product. Now I have to come in AGAIN. Another visit, leave it another four hours , walking around with my small children in the rain waiting. Then, get my car back, get home, a few days later, a cold snap, it drops below zero & the car starter won't work, just keeps turning over & over, burning out my starter, so I click it off, walk to the car, use the key & it fires right up, like it should. The whole point of a car starter is that you DON'T have to walk to your car to start it. It does this many more times. Book in AGAIN wait another 4 hours for them to figure out whats wrong, supposedly they fix it. A few days later it does it again! & it's not even cold out, now it's doing it even more than before! Then at a dinner party, a friend, who I'm telling my horrible experience too takes me outside & shows me a setting on my steering wheel to turn the honks on & off. Duh. So pretty much the car installer was full of crap telling me that from Factory I don't have a honk feature & he can't make it honk 1 time to lock & 0 to unlock, just not possible huh? A clear lack of product knowledge costing me hours & hours of back & forth trips & time. Up until this point, I had been patient enough to keep returning while they attempted to fix the problems & fed me bull. But now it's clear the installer just did not care enough to be aware of the product he works with. U install Audio/alarms/car starters on cars u should know something as simple as this & the starter doesn't even work now. I call the manager to discuss the starter & all the hours/trips I've wasted coming in to correct something the installer should have known. Zero care or acknowledgement from him for what I've been put through, just tells me to bring it in again. I have zero faith now in the installer & he says what do you want me to do about it. Really? That's what u say to a customer whose been put through all this? Nice. Uninstall it & I'll go somewhere else. He says ok. Simple as that, thanks for caring or making it right. I guess it's easier to get rid of the problem than to fix it. So disappointed, what a waste of time. read more

I was one of Visions first customers when they opened up here in winnipeg MB over 20 or so years ago. I bought a radar detector the manager said was "undetectable" . Took it home and read the instructions and found it was NOT undetectable ........ took it back that evening and manager said he had to send in a request to head office in Toronto or somewhere to OK the refund ....... would take a month or two !! I took another product in exchange and walked out , never to return !! I knew there and then Visions were dishonest scammers and never dealt with them again. Today, about 20 years later my wife saw in their flyer that they had i pads on sale. She went down in the morning to buy one ........ the girl told her they were all sold out . Pretty good considering my wife was one of the very FIRST customers in the store when the sale started !! The fake "sale" worked though ......... I`m sure many people were unsuspectingly lured to Visions stores today !! Visions started out with the philosophy that every customer should have their pockets picked and hustled out the door , and they strongly adhere to that even today!! If you like being taken for a complete sucker ....... like being looked down on ..... like being screwed royally ........... then by all means shop at Visions !! If I can rate this to a Zero I would! I will NEVER shop at Visions in Poco again! The service from The sales person was terrible! I needed help as I am not a tech person . Came and bought a headphone and the sales man had NO interest in helping me because I was asking him Questions? Then while setting up a new Cel phone I just bought there ,the sales man asked if it is okay he go outside to get fresh air, because the set up took to long for him. I asked him about my new monthly cel bill , he said to me , why am I giving him a hard time! I said what?? You are giving ME a hard time !! Next day I called the manager CJ and he just protected his staff. Not even interested in listening to me . Was so rude to me and wanted to just argue . Never ever will I deal with this company . Absolutely horrible experience buying a car audio system. Not only have I been waiting 4 weeks for my rear view cam to come in, once I made the appointment after it "coming in" was still almost 2 weeks away. They also sell you absolutely useless crap like their TR-25 bypass module that's used to watch video while driving. They said it was *REQUIRED* if I wanted to do that. You know what a real car audio company said? Don't hook up the one wire that is there and poof, magic bypass. They're just trying to make a quick buck and get their commissions. Honestly, every company will price match (Not like Visions even has good prices) so you are better off going anywhere else but here. This was my first and last time purchasing from this company. We bought a wireless speaker on January 3. It is now Feb 14 and we are still waiting for the product. We have called and stopped in and get nowhere. We have asked for the manager to call us to try to figure out when we will be getting our product - our call has not been returned. Horrible experience. Wish I could give negative stars. I called about a tv on sale to make sure it was in stock before we drove in, they had a few left. We drove in. I went to find another item before we got the tv, I asked the cluster of zombie staff and all I got was a vague gesture to a part of the store where it may be. Great start. I asked for the tv and was told they didn't have any and was immediately bait and switched to a tv manufacturer that we never heard of. Mr slimy salesman put down the tv I came in to get (the one I did a lot of research on) and pushed the other one. London drugs got our money that day. I will never go to a visions again. Visions was great! I recently purchased a car alarm and had it installed at visions.they did a great job, for a great price, and made sure everything was right. Would highly recommend them to anyone! And a great bonus is when you buy an extended warranty, if you don't use it, you get the amount you spent on the warranty as a store credit for future purchases. No one else does that that I've ever heard of. One of the best! read more

I don't think I have ever experienced a more aggressive sales person. He was so rude that I wanted to turn around and leave the store right away. Is it so hard to believe that shoppers just want to look around before they wander back to the front of the store to pick up the boring Micro SD card that they came in for in the first place? I get that sales people want to greet and aid customers. However, sales people need to respect the customer's desire to wander around your store and just look at the merchandise on display. My partner and I told the sales person twice that we wanted to look around. Then he asked what brought us into the store. I understand that this is an open ended question used to elicit information from customers but I still answered with "I don't need help. I want to look around." And then, as I walked away from him, he said "You know, as a sales person, I am here to help you find what you're looking for!" No kidding! Don't worry, I wasn't worried about inconveniencing you, I just didn't need you right away. Go away, let me look, and come back in 10 minutes to ask me if I've developed any questions during my wander. At the end of our visit to the store--which came around rather more quickly because of this negative experience--the same sales person stood close by the cash desk and took credit for our sale when the cashier asked who had helped us. I was really disappointed as I was looking forward to looking at all the cool stuff in the store. The staff have zero idea what they're doing. I took in my laptop for minor repairs and one of the staff members told me that it would be fixed in 2-3 weeks. I called 2 and a half weeks later to check on the progress, and i was told it will take 4-6 weeks. what? Honestly, stay away from visions. If I could make this rating any lower, I would. I would even pay to make it lower! I have a '92 Jeep YJ and my front cardboard speakers just blew. I called Visions at 1920 Oxford Connector in Port Coquitlam and asked to speak with someone in Car Audio. I was asked to call later because they were too busy. I called back at noon and asked for someone in car audio and asked how much it would cost to install 2 4x6 speakers in my Jeep and was told it would be $70. I informed him that it seemed cheap because it says online that these take a long time and isn't fun to do at all. The employee asked if I could bring my Jeep so his installer could take a look at it, and would give me a better idea. After spending 30 minutes driving there, I went to the car audio department, asked if someone could take a look at my Jeep and discuss a couple of options with me on what to do?? I waited for 15 minutes, he came back and told me his installer was too busy and doesn't have time to look at my Jeep. I explained that I had just called and was told to come to this location and show him my Jeep. They said sorry, he can't take a look at it. I asked for the manager, explained my situation to him. He asked what I was trying to do and I explained I wanted to talk to the installer to run a couple of ideas by him of which way to go about changing these speakers. Maybe it was cheaper to build a couple of small speaker boxes and install them by the floor instead. The manager explained he isn't an installer so he can't answer that question and the installer is working on another Jeep and it would cost me $600 to build two small speaker boxes and install them, or buy them online. I asked how they can give me a quote if I haven't even spoken to the installer and explained what way to go about it. I just wanted 5 minutes of his time to go over a couple ideas, but I guess that's a lot to ask since I was told to drive down and he would take a look at it and then he was too busy. Who cares about wasting the customers time, we just like to pay to have work done. The manager told me he can't type a quote for me as it is against company policy so they wrote it on a piece of paper for me. He also told me he can't attach a leash to his installer and drag him out so there is nothing else he can do. TOTAL CAME TO $675 BUT I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT HE WAS PLANNING TO DO TO MY JEEP. The management at this location is the worst that I have ever dealt with I have dealt with other Visions location for the past 15 years. The level of professionalism at this location is the worst I have ever dealt with as you could tell by the look on their faces that they took nothing seriously. In fact I have had more serious conversations with a six year old. read more
