Wow I did not think we would find good mexican food let alone great Honduran food. This place had both. It looks a little divey and it helps if you know a little spanish but the food is outstanding. I had a Honduran Baleada which had steak, avocado, scrambled eggs, just a little bit of black beans, and cheese in a big hot flour tortilla. It was delicious. I wasn't expecting genuinely delicious Mexican food in TN but I was oh so wrong. I got a steak chimochanga that comes covered in question with delicious rice and beans. Also comes with a Salad but that wasn't anything special. But the guacamole- oh man the guacamole is OUTSTANDING! read more

For an area like this (white central, I'm white so cool it, not being racist, just honest) this place was a surprising find since most don't know an authentic place from Taco Bell. They make things as would when we lived in San Diego, that's near the border of Mexico for those who aren't familiar. If you want something authentic, go here. It's relaxed, and there's an attached store of Hispanic goods for those interested. If you want 'real' Mexican food in a bland chain restaurant paradise, this is your escape from it. read more

We took a chance not knowing the area and Jalisco's is a gem! One of the best memories of our visit. Tasty, authentic food very reasonably priced. We were given the choice of ordering from the menus or from the posted specials. Being from Southern California we were skeptical but really enjoyed our food. It was not just Mexican but also specialties from Venezuela. We will definitely be back and tell everyone we know. read more

Probably some of the best tacos al pastor I've ever had. I got them both of my visits, and they were just phenomenal. If you find yourself in the area, it is worth it to make your way to this place. It was moderately empty, and it isn't marked very well, but a definite must. read more

Great Mexican and Honduran food. We had the Steak Fajitas which were prepared expertly. The wraps were hand made and twice as thick as those served in most Hispanic restaurants. The tomatoes and onions were fresh and plentiful, the refried beans were great and the cheese was very good as well. I had a Banana Soda there which is a soda served in Honduras, it was excellent a well. The service was very professional and the quality and quantity exceeded my wishes. Took a chance on this place and it was pretty good. The husband loved his Mexican style tacos and he would have given this place 4 stars. It wasn't bad at all just didn't blow me away. Amazing authentic Mexican and Honduran good, they have amazing homemade corn tortillas, and the flavors are great and very generous portions. We ordered 3 entrees that fed 3 adults, 3 kids and still had a little left over. The bill came to $29, unbelievable. We'd definitely come back when we come through this area again. By far the most authentic Honduran/Mexican restaurant in the area. The Mexican Carne Asada is amazing, but if they hesitate go with the platano con carne. Depending on who is in the kitchen these are the best two dishes I've had. However, anything here will be awesome. read more

The sign says Mexican food, but the underneath the main sign is the flag of Honduras. Not only does it have top notch Mexican food, but it has the best Honduran food I have had in the US. My wife is Honduran and we were craving a Hispanic dish, but were ecstatic when we got there and we realized the food options available. She got Enchiladas and the Carne Asada and i ate Baleadas and Carne Asada. We were blown away by how authentic and delicious it was. We are going back. read more

So not worth the time or money to stop here. There was no a/c and it was miserable. The food was bland and not seasoned at all. We were the only ones in there and our service was awful. The chips were old and stale and the salsa was bad and not just flavor but actually going sour. After we ordered were were told what wanted was no longer on the menu and it would be $6 more then the menu price to have it made. Will defiantly not be coming back here. read more

The salsa was delicious, but the food was a disaster. We ordered chorizo queso and I found a hair in my first bite. For my meal, I ordered the fajita salad with beef, but almost every piece of beef I tried was either mostly gristle or burnt to the point of not being edible. The last bite with beef I attempted to eat was burnt and had yet another hair on it. Then my husband found a toothpick in his chimichanga, not holding it together, but INSIDE his food! We couldn't finish our meal. When we brought it to the attention of the wait staff, they apologized, and they took the queso off the bill, but they didn't do anything else. read more
