Average Mexican food. The tacos seemed pretty authentic. Keep in mind. I've actually been Cancun Mexico and I've had food there in person myself. Street tacos were pretty epic. The nice thing about the States is the veggies - you can't eat them in Mexico as an American. I have a to taco platter. 4.5*'s. The sauce was watered down for my taste. Well prepared. Clean restaurant with good atmosphere.management let me eat at half off for a review. We haggled, it was a challenge but he was super polite- a very professional guy who runs an Awesome restaurant. The salsa verde comes from a bottle but I liked it better as a mix to spice up their hot sauce. The food was okay. Tacos were short of epic. Today was our first visit to Cancun, in St. Johns. We were greeted and seated immediately. Walking in we were all commenting on how good it smelled already. The staff is very welcoming and attentive, the restaurant is clean. The food was amazing! Hot, fast, delish and plenty of it! Our table ordered two different quesadilla and two different chimichanga dinners. The quesadillas are the largest I've seen. The menu picture doesn't do it justice. The tortilla is huge. Knife and fork size; you aren't picking this up with your hands. The chimis were crisp, stuffed full. The cheese sauce they use on the chimis is the best - mellow, creamy. Chips and salsa were great, the chips were warm and not too salty. We're looking forward to returning to try more menu items. Ooh, almost forgot...margarita, lime on the rocks! Yes, please. Not the best but by far it tasted better then it looked. The staff is friendly and did not make you feel rushed, although we were in a bit of a rush as I was on my lunch breaks. They give you free chips and salsa which is always a bonus. The Cancun Nachos only had 1 tomato as you can see and the proportion was small compared to what we expected however it did have some good flavor. I and my Cousin ate dinner at the St Johns location last night. I ordered beef burritos, She ordered beef chimichangas. We woke up early this morning with severe stomach pain, vomiting and severe diarrhea. My Cousin started passing blood. She is now in the hospital with Food Poisoning. Iam still in severe pain. The food was excellent, our server was helpful and very efficient, and all the recommended guidelines for safety were followed..limited seating, masks for all of the employees, and masks for customers unless at their table. The beef has a strange consistency and taste. I've tried several menu items and haven't liked any.

Since new management has been place, all aspects of this restaurant have improved 100% IMO. I have had take out now 4 times since COVID-19 put the brakes on all dining in options. Each time the order has been checked and packed carefully with no screw-ups. The food has been plentiful, delicious and worth the money! I will be going back soon and you should too. Ordered food yesterday. My food was not even edible. I ordered a chicken burrito and the chicken was extremely dry, and had no flavor. My side of refried beans were so watery that they ran off the spoon. My fiance ordered nachos for $11 and they were about the size of a nacho bell grande. The chips were stale in the nachos, and in the additional order of chips that we purchased on the side, and the salsa didn't have much flavor at all. I wouldn't eat there again. read more

This is my least favorite Cancun to go to. When checking out, the lady behind the cash register hid our coupon and told us we never gave her one (I watched my friend give it to her). After trying to talk to her about it we finally told her to forget about it and as soon as we paid she quickly ran out from behind the counter to avoid talking to us anymore. Let me get right to the point - the food is bland and sub par. We waited for service while many waiters walked by our table, not sure who was supposed to be serving us. Someone brought chips and salsa and bean dip to start us off, usually a welcome sight...the chips were stale and had a burned flavor to them. The salsa was actually tasty but the beans had a very strange eggy flavor. We wanted to order from the lunch menu, the policy stated that you could order a lunch specialty on Sunday's from 11-3, if you add an extra dollar however, the waiter told us we they "were only doing dinner" so we had to pay the dinner price (at 12:30 pm...). Our food came, and looked like a good portion, and was hot. I ordered the Burrito Cancun, which came with rice and more egg-beans. The rice was very salty, but had the most flavor of anything on the plate. My burrito was filled with bland, finely ground beef and topped with very little lettuce, and barely noticeable cheese. The red sauce they claim tops the burrito was irrelevant. I had to douse the whole thing with the salsa to have any flavor at all. To conclude, we can make better Mexican food at home and won't be returning for this tasteless, overpriced food. read more

The perfect combination of heat, variety and flavor. Spicy, but enjoyably so. Would've been 5 stars, but the salsa, which I believe is made in-house, is inconsistent. On most days, it's wonderful! Only one waitress seemed to be working for about 15 minutes until the others realized they were backed up, watched a guy sit at the counter waiting to be checked out before anyone noticed, one waitress was scratching her legs on bare skin with both hands and continued to handle food and drinks for customers as well. Not good not good at all. We have had a problem 3 times in the last year there. Today they brought our food to the table set it down started to walk away till I said this is not our food. They picked it up took it to the table behind us and gave it to them never even told them it was once on our table. Then when they brought our food the second time my food was someone else's and they picked it up took it to the right table and they had my food brought it to my table neither one of us got fresh food. Something wrong when your food goes to the wrong table then they still don't see anything wrong with serving it to the customer. Everyone should have gotten new fresh food. This particular Cancuns is not recommended. The chairs were sticky and one of them was so wobbly that we were afraid to use it. The wait staff is not friendly and the decor is tacky. They do being chips and salsa. The drinks were never refilled. The menu is huge and seems to cause confusion for the staff. I ordered the "quesadilla special" and it was a small store bought taco shell with a little chorizo and cheese. The shell was so small I could only cut it into two wedges. The rest of the plate was piled with lettuce and salsa. It felt thrown together. It was snack size. Definetly not a dinner portion as ordered. It was almost $10. My 4 yr old had fries and chicken fingers and the portion was huge for $5. We finished our meal and waited over 20 mins for the bill and there were only 3 other tables being served. We asked for a box for the over abundance of chicken fingers and fries. It took almost another 10 min to come back with the box. After our waiter served us he sat at a booth and never returned.
