Awesome shuttle service in Cancun to and from the airport. Friendly and professional service. Make sure to tip 100 pesos or $5 USD to your driver. Upon exiting the airport's terminal door to the outdoors, follow the huge "Pre-paid Ground Transportation'" overhead sign to an area just a few feet past the busy bar serving alcohol (it accepts credit cards only). You will see their representatives wearing orange vests and holding "Cancun Shuttle" signs. For my return flight, I received an email one day in advance of departure to confirm my requested pick-up time. My return shuttle driver Jimmy was a nice guy and on time to pick us up from our hotel. The best ATM machine to use in Cancun is the airport's HSBC machine - charges $5 USD fee to withdraw up to 9,400 pesos (approximately $501 USD). Upon exiting the double door from Immigration/Customs, turn left and the HSBC's ATM machine is tucked in the far left corner. The ATM machines in Mexico will give 500 peso bills only. Do NOT use the Santander machine at the airport or in downtown Cancun - it charges an additional foreign adjustment fee of $20 USD plus $5 USD withdrawal fee. I believe all Mexican banks will charge a foreign adjustment fee, so use the HSBC machine at the airport only. If you need to break the 500 pesos into smaller bills, go to a Chedraui grocery store and they will break down the 500 pesos into smaller bills when you purchase delicious Mexican pastries or inexpensive souvenirs, etc. read more

This review is ONLY for customer service. Booking the reservation was very easy, the website also indicated promo codes for additional discounts. Unfortunately Hurricane Byrle made a guest appearance resulting in flight delays then, cancellations. Customer service was friendly and very patient. Each time we made an adjustment to our reservation they sent an email and a followup confirmation. In the end we were able to cancel the reservation with no hassle. read more

Booked it online. I "assumed" the picked the right ferry landing. We crossed over from Isla Mujeres. When we got to Puerto Jaures ferry landing, they were not there. Waited approx. 10 minutes and then contacted them on their website. We exchanged texts and the rep determined the shuttle went to a different ferry landing. At first he told me driver was on his way and within 5 minutes, he said the driver could not come and pick us up due to another conflict. Now understand, he had a commitment to drive us to the airport and probably return to downtown Cancun if he would of picked us up. I asked for a refund and he refused. It's probably my fault as I "assumed" they would come to Puerto Jaurez and I consider it the primary passenger ferry. Even if they would of charged me $20 fee, I would of accepted it. But, instead we had to pay a taxi to take us to the airport and Cancun Shuttle kept my $$. I seriously considered disputing on my CC. I booked a round-trip to the Royal Haciendas in Playa del Carmen with Cancun Shuttles. Five minutes before our return driver was scheduled to arrive, I received a phone call advising me that he would be 10 minutes late. It costs my $16 in roamin fees to answer that phone call. The 10 minutes turned out to be a 25 minute delay, and then we hit traffic on the highway and ultimately made it to the airport about 10 minutes before the check baggage cutoff, nearly missing our flights. This was rather stressful when travelling with small children. I was also disappointed that the phone call came from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We booked our trip to Mexico after canceling US travel plans due to threats of annexation by the current regime. I would not have booked through Cancun Shuttle if it was apparent that they were an American company. Non-Americans may wish to look elsewhere. read more

Me and my girlfriend did a Chichén itza tour through this service for our anniversary! Started off fantastic, the Cenote was one of a kind! And so was Chichén itza but that is not why I'm leaving a terrible review. Once we had left Chichén itza they told us we would be stopping at the city center of Valladolid for a tequila tasting and to look through a jewelry store. We found a ring we liked and it was 500usd I said no no to much then they brought the price down to a considerable 235usd we agreed, double checked everything and left only to find out they went back in after we left and SCAMMED US OUT OF 355usd! Outraged I called them to let them know what happened and they DID NOT GIVE TWO FLYING F*CKS!!!! DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE EVER FOR ANY REASON THEY WILL TAKE YOU HERE TO BE SCAMMED!! Our experience with Cancun Shuttle was terrific. From the initial Google search to at the beginning of our trip to the airport return was flawless. Our contact was Carlos Wer and he was with us every step of the way. He great unsolicited advice that helped us expedite customs. When we landed (if you can only have a carry on, baggage claim CUN can be lengthy), you will be swamped with sellers trying to get you to board their taxi or shuttle. Cancun Shuttle was exactly where they said they were going to be and verified we were the valid customers. We got the private "shuttle" which I would recommend if you can do it. The direct ride to our hotel was about 25 minutes, we were on the edge of the hotel zone. During our stay I inquired about various tours thru Cancun Shuttle and Carlos was amazing getting back to us in a timely manner and offering us terrific options. We ended up booking a Wave Runner and an ATV / zipline tour thru Carlos. Even on Carlos' day off once of his coworkers was there to help us as needed! Our flight home was early in the morning and we had to be in the lobby of our hotel at 0630. The driver was there as scheduled, helped us get loaded up and took us straight to the airport. If your experience is like ours I would HIGHLY recommend Cancun Shuttle for your airport transportation and with booking tours. I just left Mexico and used the private pickup feature and they were so helpful . Our flight was delayed out of the US I was able to use the chat feature on the plane while connected to Wi-Fi to notify. They advised they were watching our flight and accommodated. Me significant other and I waited 15 minutes and we were placed in a crossover blacked out SUV. They carried our luggage; opened doors, advised our travel time - and also advised an earlier pickup for departure due to traffic. That was a great help because we wouldn't have known -- they send your confirmation via email. During pickup from the resort we sat in the lobby and had drinks-- they came through the gate using our reservation and was able to tell concierge our names. They had our luggage loaded and verified luggage count and flight information. It was 46 and 52 so roughly $100 is dollars for a private luxury vehicle that shuttled us. I should have done my research better. They are so rude. Even when out of the airport, every other shuttle service was so friendly in assisting us and pointing us in the right direction of this service, but not even so much as a greeting from the guy that was working for Cancun shuttle. My sister and I were on a different airline (different destination) than my parents. On the way to the hotel, they picked us up in both terminals and it was fine, even if they were kinda rude. Then on the way back I told the driver the same and he told us he would have to charge us additional money for dropping off in different terminals. If the price per person is the same whether it's 2 or 4, why the hell would there be an additional charge to drop us off at different terminals, especially since there was no issue with it on the ride to the hotel? Rudest, most inconsistent shuttle service I've ever used. Absolutely would not book again and will pay more to use any other company honestly. read more

A traveler's WORST nightmare. We were never picked up from the Cancun airport and resorted to using another shuttle service because when we tried contacting their office, no one was available to speak with. We were scheduled to be picked up at 4:00 pm, but one of our group members had a flight delay and was landing later. I had to call their call center in Florida to let them know the pick-up time would be at a later time and even confirmed which terminal we should go to. It was 6:00 pm when we got tired of calling both their contact numbers in Cancun and Florida as well as emailing them to come pick us up. It was a horrible experience and put a damper on our first time in Cancun. I didn't even get an email from them until later on in the evening with a pretty pathetic "sOrRy". read more

Horrible! DO NOT USE!!! Just returned back from Cancun, Mexico and they are thieves! The man we meet with the orange vest and sign greeted us and called for the driver who was 15-20 mins late. Sign man walked us about 20 yards to where the silver Ford Expedition was pulled over on the side of the traffic area for cars coming to the airport. I personally pushed the cart with 4 pieces of luggage on it as my wife pulled the fifth piece of luggage. As I pushed the cart to the curb the sign man said to leave it there as he rushed us into the vehicle on the drivers side. We waited inside the vehicle as they (sign man and driver) loaded our luggage into the tailgate area of the SUV. The driver (Victor Garcia) got in the vehicle and the sign man got in approximately 10-15 secs later. Victor drove the man to another part of the airport where he exited the vehicle. Upon our arrival at the hotel, Victor unloaded 4 bags and claimed that is all that was there. I specifically know there were 5 bags in total when we got to the curb and rushed into the VEHICLE. My wife's medium sized handbag was missing. It was sitting in the cart with the rest of our luggage. The concierge repeatedly tried to get in contact with the Cancun Shuttle via telephone and after explaining what happened was placed on hold several times for a long period of time. After calling back repeatedly, Alejandro told us (me) to send an email with my complaint and what happened with the incident. That was on March 1st and here it is March 6th and still no reply. Another driver from the company was picking up another couple and tried to find our driver, holding the other couple up almost 30 min while we tried to figure out where he was. Eventually he told us he would take us, but we had to go drop the other couple off in Cancun and we were going to Playa Del Carmen. So our 30-45 min private trip that we paid for took over 2 hours and was not private. I emailed the company, no response. I emailed again canceling the return trip to the airport, as I didn't trust they would pick us up and they ignored me. They showed up to pick us up and we used the driver, since he was there and we were going to get a cab. However, no refund or aknowledgment of the lack of driver or incovinence when we arrived. My wife booked the shuttle and it's not one that's easy to find. Second time flying into Cancun and first time was with a different shuttle company. This time around we walked outside with a bunch of people hollering and trying to hustle rides until we found someone with Cancun Shuttle clipboard. Told them her name and was told he couldn't find her. Apparently Bridgette sounds like Richard. Any who - He found her on the list and told us to wait. 5-10 minutes later we go to the shuttle pick up area and waited 10-15 minutes until they loaded us into a shuttle with another couple, while 6-8 other people were waiting. Two of them pissed because they said they been waiting in the heat for about an hour. The ride to the resort was dull. They took a detour for whatever reason that made the drive 45 minutes compared to what should have been 20. On the bright side - The shuttle back to the airport was at the resort on time and we made it to the airport in less than 20 minutes. read more

Was told my driver would arrive in 15 min. Never did. After 90 minutes of being run around in circles, I finally had to find a different service. On the way from Isla Mujeres, I used this shuttle from Puerto Juarez (ferry port) to Cancun airport. It usually takes 30 minutes as their website clearly indicates. The car arrived on time. There were no issues until the driver suddenly informed me that he would pick up two other customers on the way. I didn't mind at all as long as it had been "on the way". However, the driver took a lengthy detour toward the Hotel Zone, and it was expected that the arrival would be 15-20 minutes late according to Google map, which the driver never informed me. What is worse, there was a heavy congestion in the Hotel Zone area, which caused additional delay. It took 85 minutes in total, meaning 55 minutes delay. Basically the driver speaks little English and couldn't explain anything in detail even if he knew about the potential delay. Such a long delay is absolutely unacceptable prior to taking a flight. All the customers should keep this risk in mind when picking up other customers on the way. read more

Honestly, it sometimes pays to just pay the extra money. Highlights: + you can book ahead or find them at the airport + look for the orange vest. Terminal 3, they were at the front of the island across from the main door. - once you have showed up, you will most likely find yourself hanging out at the crowded island trying to avoid bumping into other people or luggage -shared service was a shit show. They had my reservation ahead of time, and I get that they were waiting for others to join to maximize revenue, but on that time the shuttle actually left the airport, there were 2 passengers total in the van and the other 4 people said f-it and paid another vendor to get them out of there. - it was almost faster flying to Cancun then getting the shuttle out of the airport. Don't get wrong, there was traffic, but every other vendor came and went more times than I care to mention getting their guests on the way. Made the mistake once, but not again. I'd rather pay a little bit more money than hangout at the airport for close to 2 hours just to get into the actual van. read more

We had just finished with the transport Confirmation number N26Q7F. I must say that we are discussed with the driver. We had to stop for the bathroom and he brought us to 2 different places because first stop the bathrooms were not functioning and after arriving to the airport, he INSISTED in paying him $20 American dollars for stopping ($10 u.s. per stop) He followed us inside the airport and waited until I paid and left with no appreciation. Reference reservation # 1ADT6T Terrible. Waited for over an hour for our shuttle which NEVER CAME!!!. The other Cancun Shuttle drivers kept checking our reservation confirmation, taking pictures of it, calling/texting someone and kept telling us that it will only be 5 more minutes. All while other passengers were being picked up. Eventually the 5th driver to check our CONFIRMED RESERVATION, just laughed and said there will be nobody coming to get us. Had to take a private taxi at $110 USD. For the return trip to the airport from our resort, they offered us a 25% discount for the poor service. Highly recommend Cancun shuttle! I booked online the day before my trip, and they right outside of arrivals when I exited the airport. They were easy to identify in orange vests and a sign. I ordered the private taxi and each ride was ~$30 total for two people and a private van! The drivers were polite and safe. They arrived at the airport on time and emailed to confirm in advance. I don't remember if I found Cancun Shuttle on Trip Advisor or Travelocity, but I'm glad I did. The cost was relatively cheap, ~$25 each way. We were able to find the team very easily with their orange vests and signs. The van was clean & the AC cool. They drove swiftly, but safely to our resort. For the return trip, they were at our resort on time and got us to our drop off safely. I would/will use them again the next time we are in Cancun. read more

$50 for two, not bad. When you get off your flight, walk outside and you will see many shuttles and shuttle drivers with signs. Look for your name or the Cancun shuttle sign in Orange. I took one star off because I ordered a private ride, but instead was provided with a shared shuttle. We still reached our destination fairly quick, but not what I paid for. The round trip back was more smooth and they arrived in a private SUV. I do like that they email you with updates letting you know when they will pick you up. read more

Noting the other reviews (and honestly, if I had looked here before I booked, I might not have), I actually had a great experience with this service. I prepaid a roundtrip from the airport to Akumal and they were ready to take us when we got there, and picked us up on time. Drive was swift, AC was on, and we made it to and from our destinations safely. They emailed/called to confirm pick up time, etc. before we flew in, and then emailed/called to confirm pick up time day before we were to fly out. TERRIBLE!!!! Waited 2 hours for a ride to my hotel which was only 15 mins away. Their rep was nasty and called me out of my name in Spanish and talked and laughed about me and my situation to the other drivers right in front of me because he thought I couldn't understand. Then when my ride finally came, they tried to drop me at the wrong hotel. If I hadn't been watching out the window for myself, who knows where they were going to drop me. I was trying not to take it personally but he was just so disrespectful, I think he was trying to send me to the wrong hotel on purpose. Cancun Shuttle is not worth the discount. This is one of the worst companies I have ever used. They were $11 cheaper than any other company and it was not worth the savings. No one was there when we arrived at the airport and we had to find the employee and they were in the parking lot talking to each other. We waited over 35 mins to get our shuttle. On pickup they were 30 mins late again and the driver took his time to shuttle us while he was on the phone And dropped us off In the wrong terminal. Bad news ! Ripped me off , had to pay 100 dollars to replace the ride they owed me in Cancun

Driver was rushing and threatening to leave since we were taking too long. Did not help with luggage at all and was rude.

Had a 8:30 confirmation for pick up and got to the lobby at 8:30 and was told they left us. When I called to ask what happened the rude agent told me it was a 8am pick up. When I told her I was looking at the confirmation and it stated 8:30. She stated no it's 8 and she told me to get a taxi and hung up on me. Very rude not customer friendly. I met it her people that had a similar experience using them for an excursion. Each person was told different things about the same excursions. Will never use them again read more

Reserved with Cancun Shuttle for travel to and from Tulum for 2 people. A few days before my trip I spoke with a representative who confirmed my trip time and day of arrival as well as departure. The day we were scheduled to be in Cancun, got delayed due to a flight cancellation. Immediately I called once my new flight information was available. I spoke with a representative and confirmed my new time of arrival and was assured someone would be there to pick us up. We were suppose to arrive at 1pm but with our new flight we didn't arrive until 8:20pm. I saw the shuttle driver assisting with another group and I showed the driver my confirmation and we all walked over to the shuttle bus. At the shuttle, the driver seemed very confused and asked to see my confirmation email. Long sorry short, he said that there was no one else there to pick us up and bring us to our hotel. He proceeded to get into the van and left us there stranded at the airport. The office was closed so I could not contact anybody. The company the following day tried to tell me I was a no show to my original flight time even though I had called to update them and received a new confirmation email with my updated flight information. The company did not reimburse me for the new taxi service I had to pay for since they left us stranded at the airport. I received a text from a rep a week before my booking but never heard back. So for peace of mind, I called the general customer support number the day before both reservations to confirm the details. We had many worries, but knowing exactly who to look for (orange vest, with sign) they were friendly, checked us in easy, confirmed everything. Can't recommend to anyone. Once I found the right person at the airport, getting to the hotel was relatively painless. However, when coming back, I attempted to contact the company via phone, text, and email in order to reschedule 2 days in advance. No one answered or got back to me. I was charged a "no show" fee since the driver still showed up at the original time. I finally got someone on the phone trying to see if they were still planning to come by at the new time I sent over and no one was available to pick us up. We had to find other transportation. Their terms of service indicate you only need to contact 12 hours in advance for changes. However, customer service is just a single guy in an echo chamber that you can't understand. He told us to contact another email address to get a refund and we've had no response for a month despite emailing multiple times. Look elsewhere. read more
