Be careful if you book with shuttle central to pick up in Cancun Airport. The airport is really busy and took us 2 hours to get through the security. The shuttle Central left us there, because they wait only 1 hours after the flight land. That's was not our fault that the airport was a so busy!! We had to pay a taxi to take us to the airport! Would never recommend! They were great picking us up from airport, 6 of us, we paid for return trip. We confirmed the pickup 24hours before time for return trip, guy never showed, they don't pick up phone, we called using different phone and guy picks up , said our pickup was on their way, this 45 min after expected time, hotel suggested we use different taxi as we would miss our flight. While driving to airport we called again and they tell us driver on his way, now one hour after pickup time. Such liars, don't trust them, they already had our money so why bother!!!! They would have got a solid five stars from me for the service upon arriving and taking shuttle from airport to hotel zone. Excellent service. They lost a few stars because I had prepaid and booked round trip online upon dropping me off my driver even made a hand written note with our condo-Airbnb listed on it. We were waiting at 7:50 am for an 8 am pickup. The police, security guards, and other uniformed men (6 total) started pressuring us and asking to see paperwork as to why we were hanging out. It was uncomfortable and a little frightening. I received an email at 7:30 am asking what hotel I was at. I answered and also called they said driver was dispatched. Meanwhile the uniformed men were still harassing us as to why we were standing there waiting for our ride. This could all have been avoided had Cancun Shuttle just showed up for my prepaid round trip as scheduled. It really was not a great way to end my lovely time in Cancun. read more

Received confirmation phone call from the company the night before our scheduled pickup confiriming a 2:30 pm pickup to the airport as our flight wasn't until 5:00. The day of, I receive a phone call at 12:45 pm saying our driver was already at the hotel. I stated that our scheduled pickup wasn't until 2:30. We verified this with the company and with the driver that dropped us off. At this point, the company ask me how long it will take for me to get my family to the lobby, I advised him it would take us 15 mins. He then goes on to tell me that the driver has already left and that if we wanted a ride that we would have to pay again and that he would send me an email for payment. They were on time for our arrival and departure. We had a van for the 4 of us, cost was 50 bucks total for round trip. When we were exiting the airport in Cancun a reservation agent said she was with Cancun shuttle but she lied. They just wanted to sell is timeshares and tours....so don't pay attention to them and exit all the way out of the airport to where all the taxis and shuttle vans are located. read more

Received a confirmation email right away. A day before I called to confirm and the day I arrived the driver was outside. No wait time. No stress. The van was clean and the driver was nice. When we first got to the airport the shuttle service was very polite and timely getting us to our resort. When it came to leaving our resort to go to airport it is terrible. We had called every single number the company had gave us to confirm our pickup time (keep in mine there was 4 numbers!) every number was "out of order." We resorted to emailing the company and contacting them on Facebook. We had received a response confirming our appointment. We were relieved, when it came to us leaving the resort we waited over 45 minutes and NO ONE had arrived. We ended up having to get a taxi in order to not miss our flight. I will never do business with this organization again. I received an email with VERY detailed information about how everything would work. I responded back with confirmation that I was still proceeding with my travel and thanked them for the info. They responded back to that email! I had NO reason to expect that I would wait over 2 hours at Cancun International Airport and not ever hear back on a driver. I called customer service three times before receiving someone. Spoke with someone who said he'd call me right back with the contact information of my driver, and 30 minutes more of waiting, I never got a call. When I tried calling back--the same number I had been calling--I received an error message and was asked to try again later. Nope. Had to shell out $120 for one way to my resort when I paid $40+ to these people already. I guess it's true, you get what you pay for , or in this case, you get nothing and are out the money. Our driver was 35 minutes late to take us to the airport, which created a lot of unnecessary stress. It was particularly inexplicable because we reserved a private transfer so there weren't other pickups slowing us down. To make matters even worse, we had to constantly call in to get updates on what was happening (our scheduled driver went MIA and they had to find another driver), all while standing next to a line of available taxis that were cheaper. I travel A lot. Last month I was in Cancun and wanted to get to my hotel about 45 minutes away. There guys were right on time . When I got off the jet and got out of customs and walked outside the airport; there they were. I got right on the van and we were off. It is the same when they picked me up a week later. Right on time; in fact a few minutes before they were suppose to pick us us. Safe, courteous, and friendly. They know a little English and I know a little Spanish, so it was okay. Clean vehicle too. Charged very fair rate and each time my wife and I had our own vehicle (didn't need to share with others). My boyfriend and I recently made a reservation with them for a round trip service to and from the airport and the hotel in Cancun's Hotel Zone. We picked the economical plus option and it was $20 per person (so $40 total). We had private transportation both ways, which was great! Both drivers were friendly and offered great service! I was traveling alone back to the Cancun Airport at 6am from the Isla Mujeres ferry at Puerto Juarez. I was nervous about going solo, but my driver at Cancun Shuttle made me feel at ease. It was an easy ~30 minute ride to the airport in a comfy black SUV. It was $35 for a private vehicle one-way, and $55 for round-trip which I should have taken advantage of! Great price, and cheaper than the taxis were offering. Also, Supershuttle in Cancun is such a scam -- it took 2.5 hours to get to the ferry on a shared SuperShuttle. The only downsides were the +52 number they listed for 24/7 access never picked up, even during business hours. Also, I received multiple confirmation emails but they had varying pick-up times and dates in them. The last one I received had the correct time and date, so I went with it. read more

This is the worst shuttle service in Cancun. I reserved a round trip taxi from Cancun airport to the resort and the driver never showed up so I was left stranded. We were a party of eight with four children. They wouldn't refund me the money either. I ended up paying triple the amount on top of what I lost with shuttle central. May 2019 / Negative Worst service, I called multiple time and sent several emails to confirm my pickup on May 20, 2019 for airport ride. I got no response and I cancelled them via email to avoid getting the 50% charge. Don't use this service, they will not be there to pick you up, and if they are it's going to be real late. Just take a regular taxi from the airport and vice versa as its only about $30. read more

organized, prompt and flexible I found a Private Shuttle for $50.00 round trip from Cancun Airport to our resort in the Hotel Zone. There are many shuttle serviced at Cancun airport and they were very easy to find with their orange vests & orange caps. I was a little nervous paying all up front. Fortunately, they were very prompt and flexible and excellent communication. My communication was via email 100%. They were quick with responses and updated my reservation with no hassles. I had to change my reservation a few times. My Arrival I changed our passenger quantity from 3 people to 2 people to the hotel, and again a few days prior to departure, from 2 people to 3 people, as well as the time and date of departure with no additional charges. The confirmation said pick up would be at our hotel by 4:45am and they were very prompt with no delays. Airport pick up was in a shuttle van and hotel pick up was in a economy car. Both were clean and comfortable. I would defiantly recommend using Cancun Shuttle again. read more

We've made enough trips to Mexico to know sharing a van is not the way to start or end a vacation. For us it is well worth the somewhat minor cost to upgrade to VIP service. Private car. Guide waiting for you at airport. We were staying in a private condo (via Airbnb) in downtown Playa Del Carmen, not one of the resorts. Cancun shuttle was recommended to us by our Airbnb hosts. We were not disappointed. Leaving the airport terminal we immediately saw the man in the orange vest holding a sign with our name. Had to wait maybe 5 minutes for a Lincoln Navigator to arrive to take the 3 of us to Playa Del Carmen. Driver offered to make a stop along the way for drinks or snacks. Tipped the driver appropriately. We'd reserved round trip. An email came the day before confirming our departure time and location. Driver was about 5 minutes early. This time a nicely equipped Suburban. In our case this the most hassle free ground transportation we've had in Mexico. I see others complaining about tipping. Honestly this does not bother me (in fact not tipping Uber bugs me). I appreciate good, courteous and on time service. And am generous in my appreciation when I receive it. read more

Each driver and the way to the hotel and back to the airport were very nice and respectful. I booked travel with this company into Playa Del Carmen, they confirmed the booking, and took the deposit. Upon my arrival their representative put me on the phone with someone from the organization who informed me that my reservation had been canceled. He offered no further explanation, and the deposit has yet to be refunded. A better option is the $12 bus. read more

Unfortunately, no shuttle was available (some a accident somewhere) so their dispatch person at the airport put us on another shuttle. The service today was absolutely horrible!! We had to find their representative in a corner with no recognizable signage after being told to wait by the welcome bar for more than one hour!! This shuttle service was recommended to us by the owner of our VRBO rental. I made reservations prior to our departure and got confirmation. When we arrived, there was no one waiting with our name as stated. Although we arrived later than the reservation time, when we finally tracked down a representative we were told it was going to be an additional 1/2 hour - "maybe". We took a VIP private roundtrip transfer. I called to confirm the time for pick up prior to our arrival and the type of vehicle. "SUV" said the representative. Upon arrival at the airport at the scheduled time, we waited over 30 min for our "suv" to arrive. The vehicle was an old/uncomfortable van. Since we booked the roundtrip, we were stuck with a similar van on the way back to the airport. This driver was pretty aggressive on the road. Tailgating, swerving, speeding... after arriving for our hotel to airport transfer late. I would advise people to book a different service. I guess you get what you pay for. read more

Horrible service! Paid and reserved 2 shuttles, round trip, for a trip in January that included 7 couples. A representative called and confirmed the transportation and the payments were taken from my account. On the day of our return, only 1 shuttle showed up. The driver tried calling the other shuttle driver, who did not pick up and was no where to be found. I was livid. The driver called the owner, who said that he would refund the money for the missing shuttle "IF" I did not give them a bad review. We had to get a taxi for the remaining 7 individuals to ensure that we checked into our flight timely. It's now May and I have not been able to speak with anyone over the phone or get my refund. Horrible! The price was a little cheaper than other companies, but certainly not worth the savings for the extra time. When we got out of the airport, we found our contact for the company who instructed us to just sit and wait for the shuttle to arrive. When the shuttle finally arrived after an hour, we followed the driver and sat in the shuttle for another half an hour. There was a woman in there who told me she had been picked up at a different part of the airport and had been sitting in the shuttle for two hours before we got in! Mind you, the drive to the hotels is not that far away. They easily could've dropped off their guests and come back. There was no driver in the van while we were waiting. No one told us how long our wait would be or any information. After sitting there for 45 minutes, my husband got out and found the original contact who connected him with the driver. He told him that he needed to drive us to the hotel and that we were tired of waiting. After about 15 more minutes, the driver finally came and took us to the hotel. There was no one else that needed to be picked up. And then the driver drove by our hotel, which was the first one to be stopped at. Luckily I saw it and he turned around. Of course, the whole ordeal took an extra 15 minutes. By the time we got to our hotel, I was so done. When we were sitting in the van, we saw many other companies have their vans go and pick up passengers and leave right away. Do not go with this company! They are terrible!!!! read more

So right before my trip I decided to line up some transportation to my hotel. Decided to book a VIP ride.which is transportation, private car, name on sign easy to find. It was $25 when i ordered it. And $25 to the driver. When i arrived they were easy to find. Orange vest stands out in a sea of many colors. Part of the VIP package was they had a rep waiting for me. My name on a big sign so they were easy to find. The rep called out to the car which I assume station just outside the airport. He originally said it would be about 5 to 7 min. After about 10 I could see he was having trouble with his driver. He was extremely apologetic. And a friend of his who has a car service. Took the contract from him. We loaded in his car and were off to the hotel. When you arrive in cancun outside where the cars and taxis pickup is chaotic. And its hot and after a long flight and customs we are all ready to be out of there already. Just be patient with these guys. Always ask questions. Ask for the " locals" recommendations. They can lead you great finds. Remember if your driver was friendly and helpful tip him well. Also if you really like your driver. Get his card or contact info.
