So I just received the most amazing customer service. One of the workers had already caught my eye when I seen how caring and thoughtful she was towards the other kids. I had no idea she would be so helpful to me, but the experience I received was so great it made me go renew my son's pass. My friend and I brought our sons to come and play, but they lost an item and we had asked a staff member and they kind of brushed us off but when we approached Samantha, she was very professional and helpful. She didn't make us feel like the other staff member did like "hey we already took your entrance fee. Now you don't matter" The professionalism and her demeanor with the children was excellent. Thank you, Samantha wherever you are you changed my overview on this place it was nice to see a staff member who showed concern and professionalism towards the children and the parents as well...Good job having Samantha on the team Candeeland -Downey

Serves it purpose. Children have a variety of slides, some swings, a ball pit, and some mechanical rides to explore. Staff was amicable and courteous. There's a snack bar inside the grounds where you can purchase a variety of snacks or drinks. Can't fully rave about this place since I'm not the biggest fan of indoor playgrounds but all in all I'd say the kids had a great time.

We have visited this Candyland location for a few times now. Although today it was super crowded! I guess the kids are not too crazy about the Oscars!! The staff members were light blue T-shirts with Candyland printed on them so they're easy to spot. There is a snack bar so you are able to buy snacks and drinks once you're inside. You do have to take your shoes off and if you're going to participate with your kids, then you should have the socks that have the rubber bottom so that you do not slip and fall. You pay by the time that you want to stay into the playground area. They do give you a sticker that you have to wear to designate what time your session ends. It is noisy so if you came here to do any kind of work or steady, I would avoid the weekends. It's located inside the Stonewood shopping center .

Easy five star review. Some stand out things I liked: the second floor of the main play structure is tall enough for an adult to stand up! This means I can chase my kids or play with them without having to crawl or bend over for an extended period of time. It's so nice. The second thing I really like is you can see the main play area AND the toddler area from each side. This is really great if you have kids of different ages and need to keep eyes on both. I also appreciate that they enforce the rules, like no kids over five in the toddler area, no going up slides, no outside food. This makes it easy on parents because other kids are not doing the things you're telling your kid they can't do. Enforced fairness can be good sometimes, lol. Those employees have a tough job keeping that place orderly and clean with all the kids and crumbs, and they do a great job!

I had a little pre-Easter egg hunt party unfortunately the kids got too wired up on Candy. This was the perfect release. For $32 they were able to get all their energy out for an hour. I loved it. I just put my headphones on and looked at TikTok uninterrupted scrolling five stars.

Fun place for kids to play freely. And very clean. Friendly staff. Good price. My kids always ask to come back to candeeland. Love that is local.

Great place for kids, only complaint is i've gone many times and every time i go there are LESS and LESS balls in the ball pit to the point where you already see floor which is not fun for kids and almost dangerous as they jump from the edge. It would be nice if they maintain the place as it was when they first opened.

Really enjoy this place, staff is friendly. Unfortunately I have to give them a two star my son has gotten horribly sick both times. The first time he got an eye infection but I felt bad it was from this visit. We tried again after a couple of months washing our hands as we played and we have had two straight weeks of ER visits bc of a viral infection he caught called roseola. He doesn't go to day care and we don't have any family who are sick and the day we went there were kids running around with boogers. I know this is a kids place and it's bound to happened but more procedures should be taken like taking kids temps or 15 min sanitizing intervals. Other than that great place. Best location right in the mall. Lots of activities nearby for parents and for lunch break. But the snack bar is also very reasonably priced. The $55 monthly pass is a no brainer for Downey locals. Unlimited visits for the entire month! What a Godsend. This place is clean. The bathroom is clean and there are slippers to use in the bathrooms as well. The staff are on it and they are nice. Out of kids cafes they seem to be the most trained for customer service. They are off their phones and attentive. They are strict with the 5 year old and under sections to keep the little ones safe. Very good experience and would definitely recommend. Reminds me a lot of how Korea runs their kids cafe. read more

I found this place on Groupon and my two year old had such a great time. The facility and restrooms are clean. The workers are always aware of what's going on and they have a nice snack bar with lots of options. Note: Adults must bring socks and children must have grip socks or you can purchase any for $3 each. read more

My daughter has came a few times and she always has a great time. She plays non-stop for two hours. The place is really clean and the workers are constantly cleaning it and sanitizing. Parents can also sit back and chill while their kids have fun. read more

This place is perfect for little ones. EXTREMELY clean too!! The staff up there deserve all the applause. There's hand sanitizer throughout the place and enforced rules when it comes to shoes . Everyone inside the actual play area had on socks (including staff). I do like the fact that they do not require parents to wear the rubber grip socks. They also have a nice variety of snacks to purchase. Im assuming it was the owner that I was observing at the snack counter but she was very observant and patient. Several times I saw her intervene with parents and their kids , at the perfect time - whether it was offering a cup or opening a package for a kid, she was very helpful. This place is worth every penny. We'll be back again . My only issue is other kids behaving badly lol. read more

The playground is good for kids to run around and play. It is clean and have hand sanitizers everywhere. My 4 yo granddaughter enjoyed herself for 2 hrs. She was ready to go home after. Everyone have to wear socks. They sell rubber grip socks for kids for $3 if they're not wearing one. Bring your own rubber grip socks if you have any from home. read more

Clean environment and age appropriate. Playground has two sections for the younger kids ages 1-5 and the other side is targeting older kids. Has multiple slides , and obstacle courses for your child to climb and go by. Snack bar and area is maintained cleaned. They even have charging stations for your electronics !! This place is awesome. Found this place on Groupon, great deal. Kids enjoyed it. Lots to do. Parents can also go up on the slides and mazes, etc. 2 play areas 1 for baby's 5yrs and under and other for older kids. Been to about 5-6 of these indoor gyms and this one is by far the best one. It has everything you want: - spacious - clean - good air circulation so it doesn't feel stuffy and gross - separate play areas for little kids and bigger kids - clean bathrooms and slippers - good affordable snacks - ample staff for safety and order. They also had 2 people walking around cleaning the place in real time! - lots of places for parents to sit and have some quiet me time I'd highly recommend it, especially during the day when it's less crowded read more

Staff: The staff here are very friendly. Massive shout out to Diego for helping me take pics. He was very sweet, patient, friendly, and kind. My friend drove long distance to join me, only to be denied entry because theater staff CLAIMED that children were not permitted for that showing EVEN THOUGH MY NIECE WAS ACCOMPANIED BY HER PARENTS. What made the situation frustrating was that, once inside the theater, I noticed another guest had been allowed to enter with a child. If the theater has a policy regarding children attending R-rated movies, that policy should be enforced consistently for everyone. Turning some guests away while allowing others to enter under the same circumstances feels unfair and unprofessional. Because of this inconsistency, my friend had to leave and missed the movie entirely after making the effort to come celebrate with me. The experience put a damper on what was supposed to be a special evening. Unfortunately, I did not get the name of the supervisor or manager who assisted us. However, management should be able to identify the employee who was overseeing guest admissions for the 9:00 PM showing of Scary Movie 6 on June 4. I understand that theaters have rules and policies, and I respect that. My issue is not with the policy itself, but with the apparent lack of consistency in how it was applied. I left feeling frustrated and unfairly treated, and I hope management reviews this matter so future customers are treated fairly and consistently.

He loved the variety of activities and made so many new friends. He came home with fun stories each day. I loved that they offered a variety of options from 2 days/week to 5 days. We returned last summer and an unexpected and sudden medical event threw our summer for a loop. They were beyond kind and accommodating. Michael, the owner, personally made sure we were taken care of at a very scary time and was just incredibly kind and communicative. I can't thank him and his staff enough for the support. I would recommend this camp for any family. Its like a classic, old-school summer day camp experience!

However, we decided to pull him out for next week because of a very disturbing situation. He shared that a counselor had pushed him with both hands on his shoulders during a capture the flag activity. He had dropped his flag and was putting it back on when a counselor (he didn't know her name) pushed him back hard enough to make him lose his balance and fall. She also barked "you need to reset!" She didn't ask if he was ok or help him up. You'd think if this was an accidental push and he fell over she would say something like "sorry bud are you ok? Here let me help you up" but nope, not a word. A friend he's attending camp with witnessed the whole incident. Since I pick them both up in the afternoons they both recounted this situation to me and both of them noted how inappropriate her behavior was. I immediately reached out to Michael, the owner of the camp. He said he wanted to identify this counselor and get her side of the story. Understandable. My son felt uncomfortable going back the next day but I reassured him it would be handled and offered to drop him off in the morning and stick around to talk to Michael and the counselor. I wanted him to feel safe. Michael identified her (her name is Carson) and said he wanted to talk to her first, which he did a few feet away from me. I heard her say she didn't push him. They then walked over to me and she again denied everything. So we asked both kids to come over and recount what happened. They both did -- in front of her -- and reiterated she pushed him. She denied even touching him. So Michael suggests at this point that perhaps it was an accident and my son responds by saying "how do you push someone like that by accident?!" No response. So I ask her, are you saying these kids are lying? She again said she didn't touch him and at this point we send the kids away. I'm incensed because not only does she gaslight both of them to their face but tells this bold faced lie to her boss in front of the campers and me. I tell her I believe them and I think she's the one lying. At this point she gives me this dirty look - angry, irritated and almost rolls her eyes at me. I turn to Michael and say "and now she's giving ME an attitude?!" Unbelievable. In a follow up call, he tells me how good of a person she is and that this is shocking for him to hear but that she doesn't seem like someone who would do something like this...that she's getting her teacher credentials and he knows her really well. I am getting the vibe he doesn't actually believe any of this and he sounds very skeptical. I respond by telling him that it's almost always surprising when people exhibit bad behavior and that even teachers do bad things...that doesn't make her any more credible in my eyes. He acknowledged that. In fact, it's worse because I would be really concerned to have someone like that teaching a kid. Lack of empathy, accountability, and integrity. I mean, I think it's great he's trying to have her back but there are moments in life when you need to draw a line and act swiftly...these are one of those moments. Because ultimately, this impacts the reputation of your camp. I told him that it would be good to offer training to his staff in case this ever happens again in the future and honestly he sounded baffled and asked me to clarify...I said well maybe tell your staff not to give dirty looks to a mom who's clearly upset that her son just got pushed by a grown adult at summer camp?? I told him that the response to this situation could've resulted in a totally different outcome. Had she said something like "I really don't recall pushing you but if I inadvertently did and made you feel bad I'm sorry - I didn't mean to do that" - I would've went home that morning feeling fine about the situation. When I told him this he said that he's not going to police all her reactions, that she's still young, that she's still learning and made all kinds of excuses for her. Exhausting. Apparently she got a "warning" and will sit out of the flag activity (umm, ok...). He seems like a smart guy and wish him nothing but success in the future and I was earnestly trying to offer advice for how to handle a situation like this better but it fell on deaf ears. I really hope that some kind of learning comes out of this for both of them. Oh and to top it off, my son's friend told her mom that Carson was giving her looks several times throughout the day today and when she asked what kind she said "side eye" looks. NOT COOL. My son also said she was kind of mean to him but wondering why they were even in close proximity when Michael said they'd absolutely be separated and would not see each other? Validates we both made the right choice by pulling them both out. He offered a refund but I'm still pissed about the situation.

I rarely write reviews, but my recent experience at this establishment was so disappointing that I felt compelled to share. I booked a 2-hour session for my two sons, aged 3 and 7. Just 15 minutes after arriving, we encountered an unpleasant situation. An employee approached my 7 year old with a mean attitude because he was in the infant ball pit. Although I promptly told my son to step out to comply with the policy, the employee continued to provoke him, causing him to cry. I then went to speak with the manager, an Asian gentleman ‼ at the front counter, hoping to address the issue. Unfortunately, he was rude and unprofessional. I requested a refund after being there for only 15 minutes due to the negative experience, but my request was denied. Overall, the staff's lack of courtesy and the poor handling of the situation made the visit extremely unwelcoming. This place clearly needs to improve its customer service, especially when dealing with minors. I would not recommend this place at all read more

We've been to a bunch of play spaces, and the friendly staff at this place goes well above and beyond everyone else in helpful attentiveness and keeping the place clean and well disinfected. I'm a little annoyed they require grip socks, as they seem unnecessary for the attractions that they have, but this is rather minor. The attractions are also well designed, and we particularly liked the "obstacle course" area that had a variety of ways to get from one side to another, like a zip line, swings, tree-like poles, etc. It is also much larger than you might expect for a place in a mall, and we all had hours of fun and will definitely be returning! read more

This is our main go to for parties/birthdays and is fun with the kids. Parking is easy, the place is well kept and maintained and you're able to see the layout for the most parts unless the kids go on the backside of the apparatus. Since I still have small ones, I still follow them around and the set up is tall enough for grown ups. The other location is about smaller and going around is dreadful. The toddler/ball pit area is nice and the older kids section is spacious as well. read more

Super cute place and very clean! There's a lot of interactive play areas good for kids of all ages, the staff is really nice too.
