We all had a wonderful time on this cruise with Captain Dylan. We loved that is smaller and personal and Captain Dylan is wonderful. He has a lovely boat that he restored himself and I loved that we were cruising closer to the water, as opposed to when you go on the larger, crowded boats. While in Seattle, my husband surprised me with a private two-hour sunset cruise. I find it difficult to imagine how it could have been better. Our captain, guide, and bartender was Sheridan. She's an experienced sailor and super knowledgeable about the everything on the water in the Seattle area. She was talkative and informative without being overbearing, the most important quality in a guide, in my book. I was so surprised to learn she's only 21. Her poise and comfort with customers and the water far surpasses her years. I'd not only recommend this trip, but I'd damn near insist that friends do this if ever in Seattle as a condition of continued friendship. Can't recommend highly enough. read more

The two of us joined Dylan on a 2 hours evening cruise with 4 other folks (6 of us as a group) a few days ago. Dylan is professional, chill and fun. We cruised around the Lake Union and a little bit of Lake Washington. The first drink is included in the cruise price. Both of us got the Moscow Mule that Dylan mixed for us. The Moscow Mule was so good that we ordered two extra rounds of the Moscow Mule at $6 per drink. The vibe is a fun, relaxing and we throguhoutly enjoyed the cruise. So...the next morning, we decided to sign up for a 3 hours evening sailing that evening. Our captain was Russ. We met at the Shilshore Bay Marina. His boat is clean and is roomy for the 3 of us. We dialed under almost perfect weather cknditon with wind vary at 10-20 knots and completely sunny out at Puget Sound area. While we were out there cruising, we chatted a lot with and Russ kept us entertained with his stories (he is a huge Broncos fan and he got some good prank stories on the Seahawks!). We also found out Russ and Dylan is a father/son family business team. Their story of starting their cruise/sailing company is very cool and total respect. A nice up and close view of the Seattle houseboats and various other boats and yachts. I've lived and worked in eight states: California, Nevada, Washington, Florida, Colorado, Maryland, and Maryland, and have visited numerous others, but find Lake Union to be the nicest looking view anywhere (along with the Oregon Coast). Just an overall great experience! Dylan was responsive to all my questions before we booked, and the directions to get there were perfect. I heard about this cruise through Groupon (although I booked on my own) for our recent trip to Seattle this past Nov. (2016). It's an off-peak time to go considering the weather can be gloomy and rainy, but we lucked out on our afternoon with our captain Dylan. I went with my parents, sister and fiance, and we rented a private cruise around the time of sunset (3-5p). We brought some warm soup and some sweet snacks for the trip (encouraged!) and were served some local beer/wine or soda upon request (small fee after first complimentary drink). Dylan happened to have his girlfriend/"first mate" with him that day, another "boater," and together they provided a wealth of information about the ports in Lake Union, houseboat property, living completely on the water, local rowing culture, the Univ. of Washington, and the expansive mansions lining the coast. It was an enjoyable coast to Lake Washington (no wake zone) and then a faster ride before returning (not at all bumpy for those concerned). The boat itself was a fairly unique design and comfortably sat all 5 of us around a table. We had the transparent plastic tarp that enclosed the interior since it was chilly in November, but we still had great views all around. Dylan has a speaker cable (headphone jack) so we could play music through our phone. He was easy to talk with, and we never felt pressured to keep up a conversation with him or to talk amongst ourselves. I am glad we went at the time I chose since we could see the shoreline and city vista both in the sun and then all lit up at night when we returned. When we return to Seattle during the warmer months, I would gladly take this cruise again. read more

This is a great company. What could have been a negative experience was turned around by Captain Dylan's professionalism and dedication to customer service. We had a trip planned for my father in law's birthday, but the morning of the trip Dylan got injured and had to cancel. I was pretty upset and a little bit rude to him on the phone, to be honest. He handled the situation very well, however. He recommended another company that might be able to take us out on short notice (we did end up going out that day with them) and offered us a full refund. After he recovered from his injury, he emailed saying that he wanted to make things right and offered to take my group out completely free of charge. I took him up on his offer and we had a fantastic time. Props to Captain Dylan for remaining calm and professional when dealing with cranky customers, and going that extra mile to make people happy. read more
