    stayed here during a vacation in the summer of 2018. Clean, updated apartments, within walking distance to the beach.

Miko has assembled a team that over communicates and constantly delivers from vetting out potential renters to managing repairs and other items we could never do being remote from the property. We had a disappointing experience with other property management teams that said they had a local presence but operated remotely. Then arrived on site to a massive renovation happening next door. I called him to ask him to please refund since he was not honest about the situation and he told me to stay on site a night and we'd deal with it the next day, to which I said no. He then wrote a very nasty and misleading review on Airbnb about my stay even though I was only onsite 15 mins. AVOID! These are scammers only interested in making money, not honoring the guest. Throughout her stay, she expressed dissatisfaction with the property and, unfortunately, made repeated threats to leave a negative review. V mentioned that the scent of cleaning products was too strong, but we explained that we prioritize sanitization between each guest to ensure a safe and clean environment. This has never been an issue for previous guests. Additionally, she mentioned construction next door. We personally checked the property earlier in the day, and there was no active construction at the time. While it's possible the neighbors were doing light work, there was no disruption during her stay. Despite our best efforts to accommodate V and address her concerns, she continued to insist on a full refund and threatened a bad review. We ultimately had to reach out to Airbnb for assistance due to the ongoing threats. We always strive to provide a positive experience for our guests and are sorry that this stay did not meet her expectations.

It can be tough out there, and poor management can make a good place miserable to live in. Holley in general, and Tim in particular, are wonderful: responsive to maintenance and service requests, personable in their communications, and caring and respectful both of their tenants and the properties they manage. It makes an appreciable difference to pay your rent to people who you in turn respect and appreciate, and who provide a service that's of real value -- the roof over your head, but also an attentiveness to all the other details of occupancy. The place I rented with Holley was beautiful and cozy and I only left to move into the home my partner owns. I'll miss it, but feel grateful to have had my last place as a renter in LA (?!) be such a positive experience. Thank you Tim and Holley!

When I first moved in, my experience was very positive and professional. Tim does a great job at making you feel welcome and like a part of a warm community. He also does a fantastic job at communicating anything you need to know about maintenance, check ins, service going on around the building, and etc. The building has been maintained very well for years. It is cleaned, painted, and renovated regularly. I can tell Holley cares about their property. Maintenance requested are also handled quickly, professionally, and with good communication. Tim was a fantastic property manager and I will miss him. This fantastic experience made me have high expectations for property managers at my next place.

He advocates for you as a renter in…read morea way I have never experienced and I have lived in 8 apartments prior.......He responds almost immediately to questions and he has a good rapport with the residents. The complex is small with a beautiful well-maintained courtyard. There is a sense of community and safety at these apartments. Friendly neighbors many with cute pets. You can feel that the ocean is within a mile or so (street deadends at the beach) and there is good natural light. The area has very cute shops and many things are within walking distance. Aquatic facility close w Olympic size pool. Grocery store across the street. When you walk a few blocks West you can actually see the Ocean. Even though its on a popular street you do not hear it a night. It's very quiet, which is nice because my last place was not :( Overall I highly recommend it and think you should at least come and see for yourself. The photos on the web and even viewing it from the street don't do it justice. Oh and yes there's a gate to buzz in and the nice iron screen doors with double locks on each unit, bonus. You have the option of getting a monthly parking spot at the building. Or you can get city parking for $40/year which is a steal! And there are actually places to park, not unlike some areas of LA where cars are crammed like sardines and you drive for 30 mins to find a spot after a long day of work and then walk a ways..... Having a property manager who is friendly, fixes things, and lives on site is priceless! Nice residents. Grateful.
