Miko has assembled a team that over communicates and constantly delivers from vetting out potential renters to managing repairs and other items we could never do being remote from the property. Then arrived on site to a massive renovation happening next door. I called him to ask him to please refund since he was not honest about the situation and he told me to stay on site a night and we'd deal with it the next day, to which I said no. He then wrote a very nasty and misleading review on Airbnb about my stay even though I was only onsite 15 mins. AVOID! These are scammers only interested in making money, not honoring the guest. Throughout her stay, she expressed dissatisfaction with the property and, unfortunately, made repeated threats to leave a negative review. V mentioned that the scent of cleaning products was too strong, but we explained that we prioritize sanitization between each guest to ensure a safe and clean environment. This has never been an issue for previous guests. Additionally, she mentioned construction next door. We personally checked the property earlier in the day, and there was no active construction at the time. While it's possible the neighbors were doing light work, there was no disruption during her stay. Despite our best efforts to accommodate V and address her concerns, she continued to insist on a full refund and threatened a bad review. We ultimately had to reach out to Airbnb for assistance due to the ongoing threats. We always strive to provide a positive experience for our guests and are sorry that this stay did not meet her expectations.

It was removed because it was a huge ground unit and we expected a new one to be installed but it never was until we gave proof that the unit was not habitable at 85 degrees. 2- Byron was aware my family lived on the property , when I asked to become a room mate there because I could not afford my unit, it was DECLINED. I wasn't given a reason, but it feels pretty discrimatory considering all the problems I've had with Byron. 3- we WERE without water for 5 days. You can ask any person at 1560 n laurel. We tried to go to the housing board, but it takes forever . Byron refused to either pay for hotels, or refund rent, which we all asked for. (Illegal) I didn't have a hot shower or properly clean dishes for 5 days. 4- I've never even spoken to you Ari? Who are you? Another ai agent in charge of telling me via email to take down this review saying it's false when I've never spoken to you? Try again. I have proof that everything in my review in true. Please don't tell me via email to take my review down and try to act nice in the public eye on yelp. Thanks you. Please don't be dishonest about your company and making claims on things you know nothing about when I never spoke to you in my 3 years at this complex that your company has RUINED.     MAJOR SAFETY HAZARD - Spontaneous Explosion, Physical Injury, and Gross Negligence…read more I am posting this as a formal warning to any prospective tenants. Recently, my bathroom's glass shower enclosure spontaneously exploded while I was in the bathroom while trying to close the shower door. The force of the blast sent shards across the bathroom into my living space, causing lacerations to my hand and foot. It is luck and luck alone that I was not more seriously injured or blinded (since my hand was protecting my face and neck and head was turned away). While BH Properties provided a small check for initial inability to use my bathroom, their response to this Life Safety Hazard has been a textbook example of Gross Negligence and a Breach of the Implied Warranty of Habitability. The facts of the situation: Failure to Remediate: Despite two maintenance cleanings and my own efforts, I am STILL discovering glass shards in my carpet and bedding five days later. Refusal of Professional Services: Management has explicitly refused to hire a professional hazard/construction remediation crew, leaving me to live in a unit with ongoing safety violations. They have also refused to provide reimbursement so I can hire professional cleaners. Minimizing Injuries: When shown the fallout and my injuries, management attempted to downplay the situation, calling my lacerations "small" despite the blood and the clear trauma of the event. Conscious Disregard for Safety: Their refusal to ensure the unit is 100% clear of glass particulates demonstrates a conscious disregard for my physical health and safety. As a survivor of PTSD, the trauma of having glass explode while I was in such a vulnerable state has severely triggered my condition, causing intense anxiety and a total loss of the sense of safety in my own home. I am now forced to seek additional psychiatric care to manage the mental toll this negligence has taken. By failing to provide a safe, glass-free environment, the building is in violation of California housing standards. I have been forced to open a case with the Los Angeles Housing Department (LAHD) to address these Habitability Violations and the Statutory Nuisance they have failed to abate. Do not move here if you expect a management team that values human safety over their bottom line. (Photos of the explosion, the collected glass, and my injuries are attached.)

    You can't get ahold of anyone in management or at the office EVER and the building management…read moredoesn't speak English. They violate renter's rights and have zero concern for the tenants. DON'T rent from them! You will be trapped in a situation that's not good. The worst management I have ever seen.
