We have a 2 BR house in Venice and we decided to move to Hawaii for a while after we had our son. We wanted to manage it short term since we didn't know when we due to return. After chatting with a few potential hosts we decided to go with Ofir since he's also a licensed contractor and helped us with the decor and even took the professional pics We have the house for the last 1.4 years on Airbnb and we're doing amazing, better than expected

So I found Hosted by Ofir from a client of Mine at Compass Weho, she said he would be able to help with some light renovations and get my property showable for Air B&B ... took a few months , but we got it done .. I just wanted to say thank you for the immediate response to my texts and calls .. my property looks dope now as you can see .. in the end we Hired hosted by Ofir , and I'll be referring him to my clients also..

We own a construction company and own a few rentals. We had a few tenants leaving mid-2020, and we decided to give airbnb a go, but we didn't want to deal with the hassle and didn't know what to expect, really We heard about miko from a client and posted our place on airbnb by November. We also have a back house, so we rent both of them after putting up a fence to divide them apart We've been receiving quite a steady income and really making it significantly more than the usual rent. We did have to purchase furniture, but the return worth it on the long term Miko been amazing, and we highly appreciate his work and effort Cheers !!!

We loved the unique location on the "walk Street" (located on a sidewalk, not a street) within Venice, and enjoyed not having to get in our car all weekend as we went to various shops and restaurants within walking distance. We also biked to Santa Monica easily from the house on Metro Bikes and all in all just had a fantastic time catching up with friends in the comfortable living room.

Open Air Homes was caught dismantling and cleaning out a clandestine fentanyl lab in my home on check out day. Midway through the rental, my neighbors contacted me alarmed about "druggies". Open Air Homes assured me that they were in the home and everything was great, and that my neighbors must be seeing them ordering a lot of food deliveries. When I returned earlier than Open Air Homes anticipated (on the renter's check out day), I walked in on my house packed with Open Air Homes employees-- my ceiling was collapsed, holes in the walls, heat dismantled, windows blacked out, almost everything stolen or destroyed, and blood stains on the walls. The cleaners told me that the house had been full of addicts the entire rental, and that Open Air Homes allowed it. There were money counting machines and duffel bags in the garage that LAPD told me not to touch. The neighbors had photos of a car that was parked at the house during the rental-- that car was registered to a man in Wisconsin who was killed in a standoff with police in Wisconsin two days before his car was at my house in LA. The neighbors also said there were tall blonde drag queens in the house partying. Evidence left behind was connected to drag queen celebrities in LA and Palm Springs. When I emailed for help, Open Air Homes CEO sent me an email back saying that it's impossible that drugs were made in my house because "the neighbors would have smelled it", which he backed up with a copy and paste from ChatGPT. He pushed me off on Airbnb, who happened to be the portal Open Air Homes used for that particular renter. I was left to beg Airbnb for help for months, who delayed and denied. Due to confusion over what crimes may have taken place in the house + a constant stream of homeless addicts to the house, leaving threatening notes etc, authorities told me I should stay away from my house and LA for a while for my safety. Surreal. And when I returned to my vacant, destroyed house TWO MONTHS LATER-- I caught Open Air Homes employees in my home! They claimed they were accidentally "cleaning" it, but the house had a collapsed ceiling, holes and blood stains on the walls, flooded second level, etc. At least one Open Air business partner was partying in my house during the rental, and a reality "celebrity" business partner was the top story on Palm Springs TV news a couple months later while he was running for Palm Springs city council, because of a video showing him beating a defenseless man in a Palm Springs rental home that apparently connected to the CEO. And remember there were also reality show and drag queen celebrity drug parties at my house, which was discovered thanks to evidence left behind in the house and Ring cameras. I lost hundreds of thousands of dollars from my first ever experience renting out my home while I was away on an overseas trip. Open Air Homes criminal negligence cost me hundreds of thousands of dollars, and they never helped me or gave me a penny. A year later, after I spent my own money to rebuild the house and I sold it and left LA, I received a call from a USPIS federal agent, who told me that the people who left the house at the end of the rental were quickly arrested, and they were operating a massive clandestine fentanyl lab. They also were convicted after a months long trial, which Airbnb and Open Air Homes knew all about and kept from me while I begged for help for months from the destroyed house. And then recently (two years after this happened, and a year since I sold the house and fled LA), I stumbled across a news report from major Mexican News outlet Milenio about how US government documents reveal that my house was a massive fentanyl production lab during the 5-week rental, the first confirmed major fentanyl production lab in the US, and how it was the only lab in the network that authorities couldn't get to before it was dismantled-- because Open Air Homes dismantled and cleaned it out on check out day, and then Airbnb spent months defending Open Air Homes and covering up the clandestine fentanyl lab from me, my neighborhood, and authorities. I assume the feds are closing in on whatever criminals are associated or a part of Open Air Homes, but until then I do NOT recommend allowing this company anywhere near your home. Hiring them to manage my home cost me hundreds of thousands of dollars, and a hellish experience living in the destroyed house for months defending it from addicts and begging for help from Airbnb when Open Air was clearly involved somehow. Also if you ask why I haven't sued them-- it's because multiple lawyers told me it's too dangerous to pursue legal action against them with their apparent cartel connections. Let that sink in lol. Open Air Homes turned my life into a nightmare.

Recently during an Airbnb reservation were this company ended up providing both my Host and Co-…read moreHost We pretty much had about the worst experience you could expect from a 3rd party property management company such as this. It all started from the first day looking back now I wish we would have just taken our business else were but when we were greeted with a phone call from the co-host of our reservation to inform us that the property we had originally booked on the Airbnb platform had flooded but not to worry because they had a property that was actually an upgrade from our original property and we were insured everything was in working order that we would be much happier with the new location hands down so being on what were had planned as a well deserved relaxation time after a year long court battle took him up boy was that a mistake . From the first day we notified him of the amenities we had already payed nearly 6k to utilize were infact non operational this being the washer and dryer , the microwave, and the plumbing in the second bathroom all of which we made the host aware immediately and his response was 1. I could take my laundry to the laundry mat down the street and he would repay me what I spent I had no choice because it would be a month before anyone would show up to fix anything the microwave he did come up and wipe it down and unplug it but that did nothing so we went without one of those costing so much money in food we could not reheat , and the plumbing it ended up taking him so long to get us a plunger I had went and bought one because the smell was awful. He deprived us of specific supplies that were included in the payment for our nearly 44 day trip and even went as far as to tell we needed to take the trash cans out on fridays at times his vehicle was blocking the path to the gate and we could not reach him to get it moved until the following day thus restricting our ability to come and go as we pleased it truly was a nightmare and that was not even the worst part there came a point in our trip were we were required to pay another balance and because of all of the things out of order upon arrival we were short I advised the host that I had a check coming and for the time it took for my check to come I was constantly harassed with threats of being thrown out for failure to pay when I had already payed nearly 6k and had all the amenities been up to par I would not have had to come out of pocket for new clothes every time we needed to change or throw away so much food because we could not reheat it or buy all the cleaning supplies that were suppose to be provided as stated in the reservation instead tried to have us employ the cleaning service they use for there properties. And threats in the form of stories of physical retaliation towards former tenants who tried to "squat" at one of his properties as this was hardly the case I had already payed nearly 6k for the first half of the reservation but it continued until the day the check came of course it went to his mail box so he knew of its arrival and we were informed that he would be driving me to get it cashed because he already waited to long and needed to get payed there was literally no room to excape him or fear being thrown out or beat up based on his words and actions he first took me to his personal bank to try to cash the check but it was to late so he asked the teller if I could just endorse the check to him and she declined because the limit was 10k and this check was much more than that so we ended up going to a check cashing place here in town it cost me 1700 to cash my check but I walked out with cash we then went to a gas station then back to the property he didn't even let me walk in the residence I was paying for alone he escorted me used the restroom then came out and said do you have what you owe me ? I asked again how much and he first informed me of the deliquent amount from Airbnb but stated since they had closed our account he would collect it on there behalf and notify them we made the payment so it would not get sent to collections , he did quite the opposite once he found out we were reaching out to them to see if they received our payment he told them we failed to follow check out guidelines and stated somewhere we were using drugs on the property so Airbnb kicked us off the platform and will not hear our side after taking the remaining reservation payment he then collected $6800 deposit $6800 for April $6800 for May immediately after the transaction that only happened out of fear of immediate homelessness or physical retaliation the host was notified that we simply wanted to just pay our outstanding balance and go threw with our original check out he declined refused us a refund and refused us receipts we have filled complaints with both California Attorney general offices. And The FTC asking for an investigation into this matter this man took our feature from us for what ? Because there other property fail
