While the entire floor was LVP, I'm sure it it is easy to clean, carpeting would have been nice, especially in the bedroom area. Lots of paint issues or discolorations. I saw red hair dye or some red paint on the bathroom counter. TV stations did not match he guide and there was no written guide to accurately show the channels. Different style remotes for the same TVs in the room. No access on the TV to local channels.

I also ask why are they charging my card when I requested the option to pay at the hotel? They tell me that they are allowed to do so to validate the reservation? Then say I have been banned on all platforms and that people like me who play games should not be allowed to stay at their hotel? I read back through Yelp reviews and this place has been in a constant remodel for years. Our room was presentable but about three hours in the entire room started shaking and it went on for about 5 minutes. Go downstairs to inquire WTF was happening and the front desk lady played dumb. I literally looked for an earthquake on the USGS website. Said she heard nothing and didn't know why. Just after that a guy on the second floor at the desk complaining his room was 60 degrees and the heat didn't work. I walked around the breakfast area in the evening. Everything covered in drywall dusk. Footprints where food would sit. Pool is abandoned. You find random room doors wide open and contents in various states of disrepair. Yes, it was a cheap ($100 with taxes) stay. My advice to anyone staying in Buda would be to check out the adjacent hotels instead. Walk just a little further if you going to Mavericks!

Upon check in I was told the pipes had burst on the side of the hotel with non-smoking rooms but they could offer me a smoking room with a king size bed. I said only if you give me a discount which they did ($20 off ) Parking was limited because of construction/repairs. When I got in the room it was so gross. The table had clearly not been cleaned and I found hair on the bed and in the sheets. The room obviously smelled terrible too. I had to call them up to change the sheets and still found hairs in the new sheets they put on. The toilet didn't work so they had to come up and fix that too. The towels were nasty. I wound up wearing my flip flops in the shower because I didn't want to be barefoot. I would never stay here again or recommend anyone else stay here. Avoid it like the plague.
