[[HIGHLIGHT]]Candy bar is one of my favorite spots in Detroit. It's so beautiful and girly. The ambiance is like no other. You feel like a mermaid coming here.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The lighting is really calming and I love the chandelier and disco ball.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I always feel so relaxed when I come here.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I have tried several drinks here but I tried the pickletini and it was so good. I love pickles to begin with but it tasted like a dirty martini but way better. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is in the siren hotel which is also so gorgeous.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The server we had was a sweetheart he let me try a little bit of the pickletini in a shot glass before ordering it because I was so curious about it. Love candy bar so much

One of our favorite cocktail bars in Detroit! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Straight out of Palm Beach, this small cocktail bar inside the lobby of the Siren Hotel is the perfect night time escape.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Excellent bartenders mixing up beautiful cocktails for about $15-$18. There are also plenty of zero proof options. Food menu is limited to small table bites. Be sure to get a reservation during the weekends.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is a cute bar that is in a hotel.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] You can't call but I would get a reservation. The service is amazing and they offer good recs. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great for girls night or bday celebration![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They are known more for their drinks.

The drinks were good and they had a good selection of it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We went with a group of 4 and made reservations, but it was a little tight where we sat.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It definitely felt like a bar where if you wanted to be comfortably sat that you should just bring two or three people.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server was very nice but I felt like she forgot about us a couple times. It was a good experience overall, but nothing was particularly spectacular

This is such a hot and trending spot. The space is fairly small and the seats at the bar have reservations. Make sure you make one to ensure a spot. They have an amazing cocktail menu of course and the space inside is very cozy. Since we didn't have a reservation, we only had 20 minutes at a table before a reservation was coing in. I tried the goldfinch and it was absolutely delicious. They had so may other fun cocktails to try so I will be back. Great cozy spot for a wonderful drink.

Loud! No deserts. Could use a desert menu t go with the name of the establishment. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cool old Miami decor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Fast service.

We managed to get seated fast despite not having a reservation on a busy Friday evening. Thank you;)! I don't prefer sweet drinks so I told our server & was directed to what ended up being quite a sweet drink. My hubby got the Old Fashioned and it was only so-so. The atmosphere was fun and the service was good. I think I could return but many other places to check out first! There are so many fun places in Detroit!

If you're looking for a swanky location to grab drinks to either start the night, end the night, or HAVE your night - this is the place to go. Ambience and vibes are perfect for a date, birthday, night out with the girls or general good vibes. With super chic and elevated cocktails, the service was pristine and the flavour profiles with the cocktails that we had were one of a kind. I went with the Whimsical, 'Pho-namana' cocktail and it was certainly a really unique drink.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Super cute, very Instagrammable little cocktail bar![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was incredibly friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. We ended up getting one of our drinks comped because it took a bit longer to get one since they needed to make fresh whipped cream. Drinks were delicious and strong, but not overwhelmingly so. Perfect stop before dinner for a downtown date night!

The food is more light snacks but good variety and just enough to keep the hunger away! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance and lighting is so enticing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Although the space is relatively small, you can make reservations.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Decor is superb![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was wonderful and we were warmly welcomed. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice place to kick back for Happy Hour or after a show.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Intimate fun bar with great staff. We had a total of four delicious handcrafted cocktails, and a yummy cheese plate. The staff was extremely friendly. The bar has a wonderful 1920s/30s feel. I definitely recommend and will return .

Candy Bar is such a fun little gem. Their take on the Cosmopolitan was extremely yummy, easily a standout. [[HIGHLIGHT]]While the bar itself is very small, it feels cozy, intimate, and lively, with retro decor that's clearly well thought out and adds so much character.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] One of the coolest parts is that the bartenders get to create some of the drinks themselves, which makes the menu feel playful and unique. [[HIGHLIGHT]]A great spot for a stylish, speakeasy-like cocktail experience![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Going back for sure.

Gorgeous venue! Located in The Siren hotel, this is a lovely bar. Shaun is an incredible mixologist. I loved the Beekeeper's Bouquet and the Scarlet Begonia. My friend enjoyed the Goblin and the Double Negroni. We snacked on the kettle chips and they were crispy, fresh, and well seasoned. Excellent service from Hailee. She was very attentive and provided helpful descriptions and recommendations. The ambiance is swanky and gorgeous. Great place for a date night or girls night out. Elegant decor and dim lighting. It's a small venue so reservations are recommended. I can't wait to become a regular here.

Here is the lay of the land: Check in at the little red table in the center of the outdoor courtyard if you want "full service". - which means eating and drinking at a table with wait staff. It is not seat yourself at the outdoor tables, like we originally thought. There is a nice sized bar indoors and seating at the bar is first come first served. We ordered several of the small plate "snacks" and I can tell you that the hummus is not to be missed. It is served with (homemade?) tortilla chips that are absolutely addictive. They have lots of choices for wine, beer, and cocktails. Towards the back entrance of the property, there is a drink truck where you can also order "walkaway" food and drinks. Not entirely sure where you sit with the food/drinks you order, as most of the seating seemed reserved for full service. Additionally, there is a photo booth for pics (long line) and Warda Patisserie is right next door and accessible through a garden walkway.

The inside restaurant area is also beautiful. We wanted to sit inside at the bar, so we waited for some seats to open up. If you want to sit outside, all you have to do is order at the bar and they'll serve your drinks in plastic cups for you to take outside. The rhubarb pie punch was so delicious I had to order it twice! Probably one of my favorite cocktails I've ever had. I also ordered the maurixio cattelan, which tasted like ginger ale. For a snack before dinner, we chose to get the burrata and it was so refreshing. The service was great and our bartender was super friendly! The logo with the little lamb is adorable. I bought one of their wine glasses with their logo on it too for just $10.

Our server was very welcoming and helped to set up our food order into courses that allowed us a very relaxing evening Cocktails were really good. I had a Last Word and it was very well done. The restaurant is decorated very nicely with warm wood trim. The bar area looked stellar and very French-bistro like. I will sit there next time No so Highs Food was good, but just OK. Between the two of us we had the beet salad, burger and steak tartare. Burger was good, but not the best smash burger that I've had. Beet salad was fine, however the cream cheese was a bit overpowering against the orange oil. It was dying for some citrus. Steak tartare was a bit dry, meaning that a small dab of olive oil would have added to the richness and overall mouth feel. I did not really taste the egg although I did see a dab of yolk on the tartare. Needed a bit of salt also to enhance the taste Menu was small, but it did cover a cross section of French bistro dishes. All in all, I thought it was a bit overpriced. So I will have to consider returning for a full meal. I would come back for a burger and beer at the bar.

I took one look at the menu and cocktail list, and determed that we would be going somewhere else to eat afterwards, thinking, "this won't be a long visit at all." But oh was I pleasantly surprised. First round of cocktails set the tone and gave us the courage to go ahead and try some of the plates. We decided on the shrimp, pork belly and gorgonzola cheese ones. Absolutely delicious. So then we decided on round two of cocktails the plate of chips, avocado toast and another round of pork belly! Again, divine. Although I will admit, everything got dipped into the pork belly sauce. Was tempted to do a round three to try the highly recommended lobster rolls but decided to save something for the next visit because there will be one. They executed all the small plates exceptionally well. And the cocktails were top quality! Only complaint was the seats are very low to the ground. I'm short and my legs were aching. I can only imagine how uncomfortable those with normal legs feel after dining. BTW my daughter and her friends had a wonderful birthday celebration but ended up leaving us adults there because we were having such a good time!
