Hours say open 10-9. Arrived at 12:55 and noticed this sign on the door and the door locked even though the open sign is on. Waited 10 minutes and nobody ever showed up. Was excited to try this place but there was only one employee working. We waited a few minutes, then noticed over 10 people were waiting on their order and he was only working on making one. The drinks looked great but not half hour to an hour wait time. Also it's very dark and sad in there, you figured the decor would be livelier. Nope. Had a few dollars left on the gift card, so I gave it one last shot--but this was definitely the final time. The past three visits, I've asked for less ice (and paid for it), requested no lid, and still ended up with a cup full of ice and a lid on top. On top of that, the boba pearls are consistently off--either undercooked and hard or completely overdone. I'm officially switching to SHARETEA in St. Charles. They actually get it right. read more

The presentation of the drinks here is absolutely adorable--super cute and clearly a lot of thought went into the aesthetics. My drink was honestly gorgeous, total 10/10 for looks. Taste-wise though, it was overwhelmingly sweet. It tasted more like candy than anything resembling coffee. I couldn't pick up any coffee flavor at all, which made me wonder if that was even the point. The amount of sugar was honestly kind of absurd--I didn't enjoy it. It felt more like a dessert than a drink, and not in a good way. If you're into super sweet drinks and don't care much for coffee flavor, this might be your thing. It's a shame their drinks are really good, except they pack them with an absurd amount of ice that you're pretty much done within 3 to 4 sips! There is so much ice actually, that you'll find yourself desperately pecking with your straw for the remaining liquids/toppings on the bottom!! Considering they only take electronic orders (even in-person) there didn't appear to be any option to change the ice level on the register. If they were to add this feature to their ordering system, I would most certainly be back. Be aware it gets especially backed up on weekend nights, so plan on waiting up to 20 minutes to receive your drinks (unless you opt to order online). There isn't a whole lot of room to sit either. I do appreciate their drinks have that visually aesthetic appeal though. But if only there was a way they could cut back on their ice levels. The only other thing was that the boba pearls were a bit smaller than I prefer. If they were to work out these two kinks, this would easily be a 5-starrer. read more

A much needed upgrade to the boba options in the area. Incredibly well-thought out menu - love the limited time items. A lot of menus in the area don't have as many options as Candy Cloud does. It's nice that they have good quality oat milk, at many boba places that's not an option. So many different options for coffee and tea boba. The service employees are courteous. Inside is nice - it's quiet and a good environment to hang out. read more

We decided to try this place last minute and I didn't have time to check the menu prior. The decor was simple and modern. The ordering was easy and done on a kiosk. We ordered a Create your own shake (Oat ice cream, chocolate drizzle and oreo) and the Cloud Coffee (Oat milk and half sugar). When we grabbed our drinks, I noticed that the Cloud Coffee was pretty light and didn't appear to have coffee but since there were no pictures, I didn't know what to expect. When I drank it, it tasted like milk and sugar. No coffee. It was very sweet for being half sugar. I personally did not enjoy this experience. Maybe, I will give them another chance. read more

I got a shake and my husband got a classic latte with caramel and cloud foam. Ordering was easy, drinks came out quickly, and they were DELICIOUS. The atmosphere definitely appeals to modern day aesthetic trends specifically those of Gen Z. However catchy, the music being played was very explicit-- Definitely not appropriate for a public setting especially if you'd like to bring kids. The employee who helped us was very kind and easy to talk to. I do wish that there were more tables for seating and actual employees taking orders (as opposed to iPads). Candy Cloud has great potential to be a place where friends come to connect, sit, and enjoy but due to the lack of employees, loud music, and minimal seating the mark is missed. Cool and trendy but too modern in some ways for my tastes. Definitely will be back to order a yummy treat though. read more

The location is great perfect for foot traffic as there are lots of shops around the area, the inside also looks very aesthetically pleasing. Service was quick for our drinks it came out within minutes but that was because there were 2 other customers in there with us. We ordered a matcha latte with oat milk as one of us is milk sensitive and a strawberries n' cream. I specifically noted that the drinks have less ice since I've read people's reviews of the drinks being way too much ice and to my surprise it did have less ice. Let me start with the matcha latte with oat milk, I could not taste the matcha at all the oat milk over powered it. Overall we'd give it a 6.5 out of 10. Lastly the strawberries n' cream was too sweet and we'd give it a 6.5 out of 10 also. I wish people could take your order instead of ordering through a machine. Might come back, who knows. read more

Infested with gnats! I had gnats in my drink, there were so many in the bathroom. I felt so uncomfortable. I couldn't even wait in the lobby for my drink because there were gnats flying around. We went for the first time a few days ago. We tried the ice horchotta, frozen hot chocolate, and mango smoothie. All 3 were great! I really like how they seal the drinks like a pop can. My boyfriend, he's a simple guy, he'll only get vanilla. He's never been wowed by any shake he's had, but he loves tagging along with me to try anything new. But let me tell you, he's IN LOVE with his vanilla shake. It's a bit hard to get through the straw, but you just need to let it sit for a bit. My drink, a custom strawberry smoothie with strawberry boba, was so perfect I've never had anything so delicious. We both liked the inside and I loved the little rotating word wall. Drinks are phenomenal, only reason I don't give it 5 stars is that it's a bit pricey. The minimalist design felt a little boring and the kiosk ordering feels antisocial but it is efficient. Pretty wide selection of beverages including many vegan options! very cool they have vegan shakes! pretty simple ordering process, simply put in your order through an iPad and the baristas make it pretty quick! nice space, only a few tables but thankfully when i went it was empty so i had the whole place to myself to study! i ordered a iced vanilla latte w brown sugar drizzle and it was amazing! pretty solid strong coffee with the perfect amount of sweetness! def check this place out 10/10 read more
