Honestly, I'm ashamed of how many times I've checked in at this place lol The best custard hands down! It's a bit pricey but it obviously doesn't stop me. It helps that they have a reward system in their app lol Sometimes they will have offers like a free cone and recently for the summer they had floaties for $3 every Tuesdays. My go to order is butter pecan concrete with butterscotch. Sweet, and creamy. I like that it's still thick and not blended too much like a smoothie. They put enough that there's always a pecan in every bite :) The cannoli thunder is another good one too but I think that was limited/seasonal. Service is pretty fast. I've always gone through the drive through. Most of the time there's a line but it's worth the little wait for fresh quality custard. They also have merch. Used to love going here but recently stopped due to the use of Carrageenan. So tasty though... their concrete's were some of our favorites. My go-to here is the concrete, which serves as the perfect vehicle for mixing custard with your favorite toppings, mine being Butterfinger. I was a little disappointed by this visit. I usually go to another Andy's Frozen Custard, but at the time, this was the closest one. I got 2 of the mint chip custards and the first one was nice and frozen, with is creamy shape but the syrup was all at the top. It was barely mixed in. The second one was a watery mess with a bunch of syrup on the top. I had to go home, mix, and freeze it before I could really enjoy it. Taste was fine, but it was awfully inconvenient. read more

Was in the area buy to some Christmas things and thought I'd give Andy's a shot because I never tried it. I got a large shake with brownies and espresso through the drive thru and the ordering process was smooth. Someone came out to take my order and then within minutes the shake was made. Really friendly staff and the shake wasn't bad I just would of liked to taste more of the espresso. Normally this location is great and really helpful but my most recent trip we had asked for 3 regular sized ice creams but when we got the widow they gave us small cups instead. When I stated that we asked for regular sized the lady at the window told us that they go by small medium or large. First time here. Went through the drive thru to order the hot fudge sundae with pecans. It should be noted that you place your order at the window, and not at the menu. There is no speaker system. They also request you wear a mask at the drive thru window (COVID times). The frozen custard is indeed outstanding. Smooth, creamy, and rich in flavor. The hot fudge was excellent and they were generous with the pecans. The sundae came with two cherries that were plump and juicy. Bonus points for their sundae containers. The container is curved at the top so that it fit perfectly in my cup holder and was easy to get out! My only complaint is the serving size. I ordered the "regular" (the smallest they offer) and it was huge and was over 800 calories. Yes, I know it's not exactly health food, but I was hoping to have an option more in the "snack" size. I got the James brownie funky jackhammer. They use their custard mixed in some peanut butter, brownies, and hot fudge. I got a small. The small is all you need. It's so rich and creamy that it will fill you up. You can even share the small. Definitely must try it! If you like peanut butter and chocolate, there's plenty of it in this. It's creamy. It's tasty, and it's great on a hot day. The one thing I didn't really like is how fast it melts. It's like you're eating soup after awhile. read more

Absolutely love Andy's!! We came through the drive through on a busy, warm Saturday in late May. Instead of ordering at the window, they stationed an employee outside to take orders which provided the personal touch of Andy's but also made the line move WAY faster! I was pretty impressed with the speed of service given the long line in the drive thru and the line of customers outside. The drive thru is really nice, and they have multiple tables and seating areas outside for those that would prefer to get their ice cream and enjoy it right there. Andy's can be a bit pricey but the quality is completely worth it! I had the seasonal strawberry shortcake sundae which was amazing, I've been craving it since I finished! It had real strawberries and real shortcake which perfectly complemented the vanilla frozen custard. Love Andy's and will definitely be back!! read more

Very bizarre experience. We go to the drive thru and I ordered a vanilla custard with hot fudge and caramel. We're told that the sauces will be in separate containers. I was in the passenger seat and I couldn't see the order board. I guess you need to specify a sundae to get the hot fudge and caramel added??? They have a turtle offering with nuts, caramel and hot fudge. I get a cup of vanilla custard and 2 small containers with the caramel and hot fudge! This is a first. My wife got a concrete blizzard type custard and nothing comes with a cover. The custard was good, but nothing special that you can't get at Culver's. Came here around 10pm last night, will not be returning back. The service here was awful. The employee at the drive thru window had the worst attitude. He was very rude and I didn't feel welcome. Our family have been at least five times since they've opened. Tonight was really unfortunate. My husband and I stopped in about 10:15pm for two light sundaes. Usually the crew were ok. But tonight was the worst. The young lady in the drive thru window was really kind. But for some reason at different points in our conversation regarding the cash total, our ice cream reward, and our request to have tops put on the sundaes. There were two crew members that kept asking if there was something wrong. Or rolling their eyes, while also making disparaging comments while walking away. No one should be treated like that. And considering that we were paying customers, who were quite frequent. The free reward showed that. 580 was our number that evening. We won't be returning to Andy's. Extremely sad that they have nasty individuals working for them. A tall thin guy, and a short brown haired girl. The guy who seemed to be older made our sundaes. Never again. read more

i usually love this place, the employees are usually really helpful and kind. tonight was NOT it. the employee taking our order in the drive thru line with an ipad refused a request to put our smalls in mediums cups (due to CONSTANT spillage when it's in the small cup.) disappointing, but whatever. the female employee at the window was extremely rude, and made us feel bad for even coming. she slapped lids on our custard (did not ask if she could do this) and spilled the two smalls ALL over the cups. practically threw them in the bag and sent us on our way with a "have a good night" speckled with a hateful and bitter tone! upon further inspection walnuts were in the custard when we didn't ask for them! thank god my sisters boyfriend doesn't have an allergy or else that god forsaken place would have a lawsuit on their hands!! i'll be going back bc the custard is good. but the employees make me think twice about it. read more

I was waiting to order my Strawanna, which is custard fresh bananas and strawberries with straw syrup on bottom. A parent was standing behind me complaining about standing in line, quoting soft serve at Dairy queen blows Andy's out of the water. Another ignorant parent knows nothing about Andys and what they stand for. Andy's is the #1 Custard establishment in the entire midwest, it's one thing standing in Line for legendary custard, it's another thing you have to encounter ignorant, non-social skills morons who know nothing about a quality product with quality portions. In California, there's a restaurant called In-n-Out Burger where the drive-thru gives you a bib if you say you're eating in the car and packs your condiments separately so you can customize your burger if you're eating at home. Well, that's what Andy's does at their drive-thru. Why put hot fudge on a Sunday you're taking home? This is strictly a '50s type place with no indoor seating and everything is made to order. You can walk up to the order window and it'll take ten minutes to get your order. And that's OK! This custard is thick and creamy and tastes like heaven. If you want a raspberry cherry oreo shake with chocolate syrup, you can get it. More expensive than Culver's or DQ, but worth it. read more
