This is my first time inside this cute restaurant. I had a pineapple smoothie and a shrimp salad. I think the salads at Wendy's are better. The prices are a little bit high but when you are hungry and try something new this is the place to go. I love how cute they put your food on a tray and the napkins are on the bottom of the tray. The dressing for my salad was not delicious at all. The salad had too much yellow cheese. Next time I will make sure I ask what they put in. I've been waiting for this Location to open for months. It finally opened. I didn't see an announcement or anything I only knew that it was open because I saw it pop up on Uber Eats. I stopped by the next day for breakfast. I was immediately met by an unfriendly Staff. I was not greeted. No one had a smile on. Everyone looked absolutely miserable. As for my smoothie: Peanut Butter Cup with Extra Bananas. It was top notch. It lived up to the tropical smoothie standards that I'm used to. The smoothie was 5 Stars. But the staff brought it down. This was a new dining place for all four of us and maybe we should've gotten smoothies but instead we went for the lunch menu. Most notable was that almost everything on the lunch menu included chicken. Definitely no vegan options. And very few vegetarian options. We had a Hummus Veggie wrap, as a vegetarian option; Two Thai Chicken Salads, and a Chicken Pesto Flatbread. So our meals were good, but nothing special. What was very good was the jalapeño corn side. With so many other great restaurants in the area, we decided we would not return for lunch at the Tropical Cafe. We are not smoothie people, so maybe that is the major draw for the Tropical Cafe. Their smoothie menu was very diverse with a good selection of options. The service was good and the restaurant itself was very clean and pleasant. If we ever started drinking smoothies, we would come back and try their menu. read more

I thought this place was just smoothies but to my surprise they have pretty healthy choices. The smoothies are fun and taste great with many options and they are very large so you may share and still have enough. I've been several times and tried a few different things. My 19 year old son has grown fond of this place and finds himself there in numerous occasions. Great prices and good quality. I'm glad we have this place on East side. Sooooo Disappointing. The smoothies here are delicious. I was hoping the hummus bowl would match. The portions of hummus is a joke. Notice the picture. Barely more than a spoonful. No pita or chips with it. I won't make this mistake again. I also got the shrimp wrap. The tortilla itself was really good. The size was pretty small. Most of my wrap was empty folded over tortilla. I personally did like the food and the smoothies here. However the price is pretty expensive, because what they make is pretty mediocre. This is all stuff I can deal with because it is my own choice where to spend my money. What really made me angry is the customer service. Me and my boyfriend came in and we weren't even acknowledged until we made contact. At first I thought they were giving us some time to order or they were a little backed up. Even so there should have been a courteous "one moment we are backed up." but after 5 minutes of standing there we had to ask if they were even taking orders in person, or if it was only online. This location needs to have a really important conversation on how customer service works, the whole atmosphere was silent and I felt like I was disturbing their routine. read more

Not very accommodating at this location. They have no build your own smoothie options and wanted to charge for every substitution. I don't have this problem at other locations. Must be a franchise thing. I won't be back to this one though since they refuse to swap out a couple ingredients. Not great customer service! Other locations are so much nicer! Food is ok. Ordered the Jerk Chicken quesadilla alongside a smoothie. The quesadilla was good, can't rate the smoothie since I never got it. And that's problem. I ordered and paid for a food item which was supposedly spilled by the delivery driver inside the store. After witnessing the spill, instead of offering a replacement they sent the food without the smoothie, told the drive it's his fault, and told me to figure out the missing item with the driver and his company. The delivery company said the restaurant managed the payment transaction and don't have my payment info so they can't issue a refund - only the restaurant can. Which the rest. manager refuses to do. With this type of customer service, doesn't matter if the store makes the best food. They treated the driver like crap after he made an accident and treated a customer like crap because they could. read more
