I'm not sure what has changed with this business, but our recent experiences have been disappointing. We initially believed we had found an ideal groomer because this facility promotes dog interaction, similar to a puppy daycare environment. Socialization was important to us, and during our first two visits everything seemed excellent. We were able to see our dog playing and interacting with other dogs on the live cameras, and he appeared to be having a great time. However, during later visits, we noticed a significant change. Our dog appeared to be kept in a crate from the time he arrived until pickup. We raised this concern with the owner, who assured us this would not happen again. Based on that reassurance, we decided to give the business another opportunity. Unfortunately, during the following visit we experienced the same issue. Our dog was not visible on the cameras and appeared to have been crated again. When we addressed this, we were told it was due to a miscommunication among staff members. We were again reassured that the issue had been resolved and would not occur in the future. Today, after not seeing our dog on the cameras for approximately two and a half hours, my husband called the facility to check on him. The staff member who answered the phone was dismissive and did not allow my husband to fully explain the situation. We referenced our previous conversations with Chris, the owner, who had assured us this would not continue to happen. The staff member responded that Chris was not present and stated that she needed to check in all dogs before allowing ours to be cage-free. At that point, our dog had already been there for two and a half hours, which raised further concerns for us. Due to the circumstances and the manner in which the call was handled, my husband informed them that he would be coming to pick up our dog immediately, as we were not comfortable paying for services where he remained crated the entire time. When my husband arrived, our dog was simply brought out and released to him. There was no explanation, acknowledgment, or apology offered. Based on our experience, I encourage other pet owners to ask questions and ensure they fully understand how their pets will be cared for during their stay. read more

My mini goldendoodle Frank isn't fond of going to the groomer or as I tell him the spa! He has had some bad haircuts, some have given him hot spots, and once after going to a groomer he lost all the hair down his back. Today was THE BEST experience we have had! Frank came out looking fantastic! I will say he didn't want to go inside with the girl that took him, but when they brought him out he was happy! He got shaved today, because he needed it. This is the only time he has been shaved and came back looking like the same dog. We've brought our dog here for years but there seems to have been a change of ownership or management in the last few months. The last two times we brought her in we didn't get the same level of friendliness and professionalism when booking the appointment. Last time, we were told to bring our dog in that morning right away and then no one answered when we had follow-up questions. The most recent time, our dog came home with missed patches of hair and even though the person contacting us said she wouldn't be ready until well after 5:00, we got a call saying to come pick her up because she was the last one there at 5:05. Overall a very disappointing decline in service and we will be looking for other options. read more

Been using Canine Corner for years at their previous and newer locations. Loved the team but something has changed. I never see the owner(s) or previous groomers. I don't know the woman who checks in the dogs and she is often stressed and unorganized. Needless to say I gave them 2 tries after a big disappointment and nothing improved, I'm done. Things were worse with the last time being a cut but no bath. My dogs paws were not groomed. They both still had long nails and hair between their pads. One of my dogs did not have his ears groomed and his tail was matted. Whatever scent they put on them gave 1 dog an itchy rash. I can't explain what changed and when ask about change of ownership or management no one answers. The last visit was a big disappointment. Sadly, we won't be back. read more

We've been using Canine Corner for years. I fell in love with how they took care of my senior dog, and how he always came out looking like a puppy. But this last year things have just gone downhill every visit. Last visit they texted me that my dog was ready and said I could Zelle them the funds but as I walk in the door the lady tells me she doesn't have enough cash and needs cash for other customers so needs me to go to the bank to get cash to pay for my dog as they won't accept Zelly from me because she needed the cash. Then this time they sent me a text message reminding me of my appointment 5 days before (which I like) and I asked them if there was any way I could get my dog by 1:30 PM if he was the first dog there they said absolutely just remind them when I dropped him off for his appointment. Today as I dropped my dog off I reminded them I absolutely have to get him no later than 2 PM and they said not a problem. I get there at 2 PM and he's not ready. And then have to wait another 25 minutes for him to become ready making me late picking up my kids from school and when my dog gets in the car, he is still shedding like crazy and nothing seems to be done about this. It's just such a shame. It was such a great facility that I wanted to support but I think we're gonna have to look for a company that's at least a little bit more organized and consumer friendly. However, I do still think that my dog was safe in their care I don't think they were liability there. read more

He knows when we are going close and gets super excited and especially now with Covid he gets extra nervous waiting on them to come and get him from the car. I've been taking my dogs there since 2014 or 2015 and the past 2 years or so I've been disappointed with the service. Their haircuts look choppy and uneven and my dogs freak out when we pull into the parking lot so now I'm wondering WTF is going on in there. I don't know if they sold the business to someone else but I don't recognize anyone working there, it takes days to get a response to schedule a grooming appointment, now they have a new number and I have no idea what it is because they didn't update social media, they didn't send it to their clients, and they don't have a webpage. Last year, one of my dogs had CCL surgery and I took him to get groomed 3 months later. When he was dropped off he was fine, when I picked him up he was in pain and limping and no one knew what happened to him. I should've trusted my gut and taken them home instead of leaving them for grooming because the guy who was working there first thing in the morning when I dropped them off creeped me out. I let it slide because maybe my dog did something dumb that was out of their control. I took my dogs back again a few months ago and my girl dog came home and a few days later had a major painful eye infection. I spent over $1,000 on vet and veterinary opthalmologist visits and medications trying to fix the issue. It's a shame because we had no problems with them for years and now it seems like the business is going downhill so I'm finding another groomer for my dogs. read more

We've used them in the past and all was fine, not so much this time. I had him gromed today 3/20/24 I've got a Golden (red) and part of his beauty is the feathering on the legs. When I took him in I told them not to touch the feathering especially when I knew it wasn't matted in any way. So what did they do? The feathering was cut and not ony that, it's choppy. Then this evening while he was laying next to me on the sofa, I noticed long hair sticking out of his paws. We will not be going back. I texted them ... no response. Do not take your pup here even if you have for five years unless you tell them explicitly what not to do. The last time I went the groomed him totally differently especially his beautiful tail. When asked if he should be groomed as always, they did not. I will not ever return. Holy cow- customer service is on point. 5 stars. So far my only interaction has been over the phone- i made an appt tomorrow @8:30am. i literally can't wait to wake up- and take'em because the groomer ladies just seem super-honest-helpful-genuine-&chipper over the phone. I called on a Thursday night for a Friday appt- they said they were full ...but if i came in at 8:30am...they'd take my 2 pups 1st thing in the morning. ((I'm so glad they are morning people- because so am I -and so are my little chicken nuggets!)) Now lets just hope i'm just as pleased when i pick the little fur balls up tomorrow ;) Good news. My dogs love this place, they look amazing and fluffy, smell super good, and they did exactly what I asked- and did I mention my dogs love this place?! They have kennels but they don't keep them in a crate all day like most places, unless your pup needs to be alone cuz they don't play well with others, Lol, they get to run around and play with the other pups all day until it's their turn for the bath and grooming and then they just go back to playing with the other pups until you go pick up your dog! It's such a great concept. I can't thank Jessica and Nikki enough for taking me on such short notice sometimes, but they do ONLY...usually...most of the time...do by appointment only especially during busy holidays. This grooming salon is located in the seven bridges plaza and I'm so happy we found it. I only see pictures of small dog breeds on here but we took our Australian German Shepard mix in and they took good care of him! The girls I were in contact with were so sweet. They have a pet drop off in the back and pick up in the front by appointment only right now. They gave him a Christmas bandana and ornament. I brought one of my cats here for a wash, brush out, and sanitary trim. I was worried about how he would do with the dogs, but he did great, and the staff went above and beyond to make him feel comfortable. One of the staff members talked about how she took him out to snuggle and play, which made me so happy! I have family members that have their dogs groomed here and they look great too! We used to absolutely love Canine Corner and took our dog there exclusively for all grooming; however, in the last year or so, things have changed at Canine Corner. The last few times we brought our dog in, we no longer saw the owners or anyone who was familiar to us. It seems they take in too many dogs for grooming, the quality of the grooming has definitely declined, and they do not seem organized either at check-in or at pick-up. This is the first time I have ever taken a dog to a groomer and it was such a great experience. They were so kind to me and explained everything. When I called they explained what was going on and that she was doing so well. When I picked her up they have that procedure down to a science as well. Kind to animals and very nice to the people. All the dogs that I watched coming and going looked happy to be there and my dog was SO PRETTY and smelled so nice when she came home. She got to play with some other dogs as well which was so nice. Best grooming salon around for your little fur babies! First experience was when my boyfriend had brought in our pup, and his haircut was perfect. I was so impressed, I brought in my family dog today, and his cut was, again, perfect! The staff is amazing and it is the only grooming facility that we do not have to drag our dog, Wags, into. The staff is amazing - the only groomers that I know that have such a passion for their work and such a caring attitude. They really seem to love what they do! My boyfriend and I take our dog, Fozzy, to Canine Corner every once in a while to get a bath (he goes to the dog park almost every day so he's a dirty boy!). They always do such a good job with him and he's not an easy to dog to bathe in my experience! I love that they feature all their dogs on their Snapchat. You can tell the girls really enjoy their job, which makes me feel good about taking him there. As someone who works in a grooming salon as a bather and is in school to be a groomer, I can testify that some dogs are more difficult than others -- especially on the grooming table. After a week, they still had that "fresh" smell to them Something I've never seen at a groomer is the free reign concept for dogs - there are no cages to put the dogs in when they aren't being worked on. I took my pup elsewhere for three years and the last visit didn't go well, so I put out a post asking for recommendations of a new groomer and I'm SO so glad I did!! From the moment I dropped Presley off to when I picked her up they did a phenomenal job!!! The staff is so sweet and so fun to talk to!! My pup makes a cute little "smile" and they even sent me a video they had taken of her doing it. They gave her two cute little pink probes and Valentine's Day bandana which were adorable! This place is more then a groomer - it's almost like a day care! The dogs aren't kept in cages and get to freely walk around and play with one another which I loved!! They allow you to leave the dog for however long you need making it convenient on your schedule without having to worry about you pup cooped up in a cage all day. I could go on and on about how great this place is!! Affordable, very considerate of your time schedule and when pick up/drop off works best for you, and so kind and just all around fantastic place!
