I have never in my life been spoken to like Rick spoke to me today. Absolutely horrible horrible experience. Stay far far away from this company. For some context: Our fridge broke and they were supposed to come fix it. Window was between 8 and 9am - the guy didn't make it in the window. I called the company to ask if he could come back later and the woman on the phone told me yes. I had to go to work, and as I'm leaving, I finally see the guy arrive - I told him that I talked to someone in customer service who told me he would be able to come back later. The service guy didn't seem happy about it, so I called the company again just to make sure. I get a different woman who also says, "He has two other calls today, but I don't see why that would be a problem for him to come back." But she says she'll have someone call me to triple check. I get a call from a THIRD woman about 20 minutes later saying they're refusing to do the service today, and in fact they won't come fix the fridge until December 5th! I said I didn't understand why - 2 different people had said it would be ok, not to mention not having a fridge obviously ruins our Thanksgiving. She said there was nothing she could do, it's just what her boss (Rick) said. So I asked to speak to him. I told him the service technician missed the window, and that I had talked to two different people who said it would be ok. He said, "That's a lie." At this point, I'm literally crying on the phone because our Thanksgiving is ruined and the first thing this man says to me is to call me a liar. I said I didn't understand and he threatened to hang up on me. I have never before experienced a company who cares so little for their customers' experience or happiness. My goodness... I don't know why I bother calling them after reading the reviews. But now I understand why. I called with a simple repair job and the lady starts arguing with me about aftermarket parts, despite the fact that I already know what is needed. In the middle of explaining the exact part that I need she hangs up... When I call again and try a different department and tell them how rude customer services, they hang up as well. During this time s we should support small businesses and others go belly up... Let's hope this is one of them. Update... You can disagree with the review all you want. But are you going to see the multiple customers are all out to get you? You guys have terrible customer service and it shows. AUBURNDALE, Florida customer We requested service for our 18 month old Whirlpool Washer. It was locked with a load in it and nothing was happening and it wouldn't unlock. We checked the power and voltage and it was all working. The Cannon repair man was nice but he didn't even know how to unlock the washer with my wet clothes inside. My husband went on YOUTUBE and found out how to unlock it on his own. So....we wasted $87.00 to do our own unlock!! A partial refund on the service call is warranted but not offered even after we left text message and called them to advise them that the repair mand didn't know what he was doing. Yes, it needs a new electronic board and it is being replaced by another company through a retro warranty. Shame on you Cannon, get your people trained or show them how to use YouTube. read more

First....the technician, Jim, was very professional and explained the issues with my refrigerator. This review is not anything negative with his service. However, in the past 4 and a half months, Cannon's Appliance has been out to work on the same issue with my refrigerator. On the first visit, they did not see anything wrong. On the second visit, they realized a fan motor was malfunctioning and they replaced the fan motor. On the third visit, they had to download firmware for the same issue with the fan. You would think they would stand behind the fan repair (which was replaced less than 90 days ago), but they wanted to charge me $139 for a 10 minute download of a firmware that should have been included with the fan replacement. I spoke to a manager (who really did not listen to my concerns) and he finally agreed to reduce the charge (but not waive the charge). I reluctantly paid, but will be very cautious if I have to call them back again for the same issue. (As there appears to be a warranty on this firmware update) As a consumer, I expect a local company to stand behind their work. This just did not meet my expectations. read more

He said it was a communication breakdown between Whirlpool and Cannon's where Whirlpool online refers a client out to a service company but doesn't clarify the cost of the service call. He said he would refund my service fee. Big thanks to Rick for helping me in this matter. Technician was as friendly as a rattlesnake. Performed no work over the course of the 10 minutes he spent at my house and charged me $85 for the privilege. No one at this company warned me the service call would be $85. Simply unacceptable. Below is the contents of my BBB complaint on this scam of a company: "I was connected with Cannon's Appliance Service through the Whirlpool website on 7/5/16. I was trying to get my dishwasher repaired as it has two indicator LEDs that aren't working. My dishwasher is indeed out of warranty. When technician arrived, he was completely unfriendly and didn't even introduce himself or the company was representing, he just walked in. He opened the dishwasher door and matched the serial number with the one he had on the paperwork. Then he told me he would have to repair the entire control board and that the price would be so much I would be better off to just buy a new dishwasher. He went out to the car to get the part number and the actual cost. When he came back in he said it would be $156.09 for the part and $125.00 for the labor. With tax figured in the total would have been $300.76! I, of course, told him there was no way I could justify that amount of money and I would just live with it. It was at this point he told me it would be $85 just for coming out and spending no more than 10 minutes at my house. He barely spent 5 minutes inside! I called their customer service department and Amanda answered. I told her their technician just left my house and charged me $85 for doing nothing over the course of 10 minutes. She began to argue with me first by saying she didn't even know which technician was at my house. I of course told her I didn't either as he never introduced himself. I told her I would never have had them come to repair my dishwasher if I had known it would be $85 just for the diagnosis. She continued arguing by saying she had tried to call me on 7/5/16 which was a blatant lie as I had no call received or missed from their number on the 5th. If she had called and I didn't answer she could have left a voicemail, which she didn't. She then told me the technician should have called and told me how much it was going to be. Again, this never happened. However, this very same Amanda called about a half an hour before the nameless technician arrived just to make sure I was home, but she never once mentioned the price. This is unacceptable. I'm out $85 for absolutely nothing. The technician spent 5 minutes in my house and another 5 minutes out in the service van looking up parts. No one did their due diligence of warning me how much the service call would be, so I had no choice but to pay the $85 on the spot. Amanda, of course, said she'd forward my complaint to the service manager, who I assume will only continue to make excuses and tell lies. I want my money back and I want no one to get taken advantage of again by this scam of a company." read more

I would give them zero stars if it were an option my husband and I have had the worst experience with this company called them to repair our dryer, they had to order a new part which took over 2 weeks to get, when it finally arrived they came and did installation the repairman said it was all fixed. My husband and I do laundry and it is NOT fixed, it is still running exactly the same as it was when we called them Today I am sitting home all day waiting for them to come again. Called Cannon Appliances to have my Jennair Slide In Range repaired. When appointment was made they asked for Model # and Serial # to make sure they had the parts. They said they did so we made an appointment to have it repaired. They said it needed a new control board. The repair person came to the house and said they had the board at their warehouse and he needed to run get it but he needed payment for a service call first before he could go back to the warehouse. He then called back a few minutes later and said he did not have the part. (Sounds fishy huh!). He said he could not refund my service call fee so basically they took my hard earned money and gave me no service whatsoever. Think twice before calling this company as their ethics are a little questionable in my opinion. read more

Worst experience Do Not contract this company ever!!! They came onsite 4 times did not fix the issue at all, I feel because they get paid per job by MFG they were not doing it correctly. issues was the fridge was not making any ice, best buy replaced the ice maker which did not fix it so we had to get an "Advance Repair" which Whirlpool contracted this joke of a company. 1st tech Tyler was good as you see from the comments about this company, he explained to my wife what was needed and the process that was supposed to take place. I check my camera and it doesn't work he says call the office. He started to take the shelves out and i start to question him and he is trying to be short with me. I ask why it takes so many times to fix the issue, his response is i do what whirlpool says to do. I come and fix stuff, i say apparently not because you have been here 3 times. Save your money. Refrigerator stopped cooling so I called for repair. $400 and 1 week later, same thing. I was told the part went out so I had to replace but they would "waive" service fee. Another week go by, same thing. This time they sent a different guy who stated the "mother board" or "control board" went out and needed to be replaced as well as the fan. That would be another $500. Nevertheless, I called Sears and it was a loose wire that they replaced o yes, 39 charge was all I paid. Meanwhile, if tech knew what he was doing the first time, I could have save $400 the first time. Very unprofessional. read more

This company is bad! I needed my washing machine and dryer fixed . Also , I wanted to get my refrigerator checked out . My electricity bill was a little high so I thought I would get the caskets looked at in case cold air was leaking out . The receptionist called me back and said she would need a deposit for the casket before they came out because they had to order the part . I said I wasnt sure if I needed the caskets but if I didnt would would get the $144.12 refunded. The woman said of course .Yes your money will be refunded . They came and looked at my appliances and said the refrigerator did not need repair . The washing machine and dryer needed parts that they would have order and I was charged $168.00 for the service call. I paid and asked if my 144.12 would be refunded and they said call the office . I called and explained the situation and they said the service manager would call me back. He never didi . I called the next day again and they told me he refunded me the money . When I checked my bank statement I was refunded $68.00 not $144.12 . I called back and she said I was charged for the return of the casket shipping and stocking fee. Then i was told the parts that my washer and dryer needed were no longer available . so... I paid $168.00 plus 144.12 minus $68.00 for absolutley NOTHING . I get the service fee but paying for the return of the casket is CRIMINAL . This business is the worst. WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. read more

The compressor on my $3,000 LG Refrigerator malfunctioned in June 2019. The part is under warranty. I paid Cannon Appliance Service $529 in labor charges ($55 of that was for a part) to repair it. There were subsequently three separate incidents of the compressor malfunctioning over a four month period causing me to throw away hundreds of dollars worth of food. Cannon came back in twice to repair it but it kept malfunctioning so LG agreed to replace the compressor. Cannon's serviceman replaced it but we have since had several incidents of loud buzzing coming from the unit. Thirty minutes after the Cannon repairman returned and "fixed" the loud buzzing noise it started up again. We called immediately and were told by Rick, the service manager, that the repair is no longer under warranty and he refused to send the repairman back without another service charge. Today over a month later, the refrigerator stopped cooling once again. I have thrown away still more food. Rick has again refused to send a repairman without a service charge, despite the fact that I have already paid them over $500 to repair the unit for the same problem. The buzzing is so loud that I hear it throughout my house and as of now the refrigerator is not cooling. Cannon is refusing to stand behind their repair work and I absolutely would not recommend their services. read more

Technician came out to diagnose the issue, it took 2 weeks for them to come in the first place and another week to get the part, so 3 weeks in we still don't have a functional washer. After the technician left in a hurry on a Friday afternoon he stated he "fixed" the issue with the part. After he left I did a large load of laundry and come to find water spilling from my washer everywhere!!!! Come to find the technician neglected to put the drain hose back into the drain at all! So at 5:30pm on a Friday night my husband and I are vacuuming up 15+ gallons of water from our home! Of course call, no one answers, the on call number doesn't work either, and still trying to call Monday morning and still not able to get through as the number rings busy. In the meantime I have called Lowe's warranty to set up another service, and they tell me Cannon's is the only one in my area that can fix my washer and they can't come for 2 weeks. Very very disappointed and highly unacceptable. I sure hope Cannon's can make this right! read more

This was my first experience with Cannons repair. The technician they sent out smelled awful, had greasy hair and looked unwashed. Since this was a "second opinion " from Maytag repair headquarters I was going to see it through. I had taken videos of how my washer was acting so it would be quicker for the technician but a few seconds into the video he starts talking to me like I'm a child explaining how these washers only get about this much water in them. I was upset that I had gone to all this trouble recording videos and he couldn't even watch it. I had both doors to laundry closed so it probably echoed so when I raised my voice. He got offended picked up his tool bag and left. When my husband tried to go down the driveway to talk to him he rolled up his window and backed out of the driveway in a huff. We tried to call the customer service line and were told to call Maytag. I asked to speak to a supervisor to tell them what had gone on and spoke to Rick. He told me he had been working on his technicians phone standing right next to him and he didn't smell anything. I asked why did he run off. He said "well this is a Christian man". What difference does that make? If he was so Christian why did he interrupt me, treat me like a child who'd never washed a load of clothes before and then storm off? Has this guy never dealt with an angry housewife before? This is the third set of technicians I've dealt with trying to fix this aappliance so yes I'm frustrated. No prior call to give us window of repair time just rousted out of bed with technicians on his way at 8:00 am. I was asked to send rick the videos and when I called back to make sure they had been received I was treated to an unfriendly demeanor by Bessie who said they had been received and when he had finished reviewing them he would get back to me.
