This was also a traumatic incident for me and their Duarte location. I have had years of periodically getting my eyelashes done. Do not get caught up with the tik tok or hype of these lashes. My 2 visits with them they glued the fake eyelashes on top of each-other (stacking) and many on my skin (directly on eyelid where no eyelash was) vs one on each natural eyelash using the correct and safe amount of space from the starting point of your natural eyelash to eyelid. From other reviews, they clearly do not follow the safety guidelines of what is too close to the eyelid and how dangerous this could be. I have had these lashes removed since September and my eyes are still suffering (skin) and constantly watering and my real lashes are non existent. I have had to go to the doctors to prescribe not only ointment for my eyelids and medicated eye drops but the irritation has been hell. I haven't bothered asking for a refund for both the first time visit and touch up. Why explain when they clearly know they are not following safe procedures but more focused on the photo of when they are applied for the aesthetics and advertisement. read more

My lashes usually last about 3 weeks before I need a fill but I will mention that it depends what lash tech you go to. I saw that the sunflower eyelashes made by my friend were so beautiful and I liked the look, so I chose the sunflower eyelashes. The eyelash stylist is very gentle, the speech is very delicate, and the technique is skillful. I fell asleep LOL when I lay down, and I felt very relaxed. About an hour and a half passed, and my eyelashes were done. I didn't have the hot eyes I imagined. She tell me that there are several different glues in the store, you can choose, if you feel unwell, you can change it at any time, this is quite careful, the sunflower eyelashes are really beautiful, I love it so much! This was my second time being here, so I got a 2 week refill. I went to the same person as last time and noticed my eye was hurting from my eyelashes (middle part). Very minor, then my eyelid became puffy and I woke up with my eye swollen and stinging. I immediately contacted their place and told them about my situation they said they will remove it and give me a new set. I wanted a refund, my eye is very visible & im not allowed to do things. They were trying to blame it on me saying I put on makeup or messed with it. since this did happen a week after my appointment. I've been getting my eyelashes done for about 2 years, and have never had this happen to me. When I looked in the mirror I can see she put the eyelashes on my actual skin and not my eyelashes! I thought the lashes looked great after they were done but the reason for the bad review is because they did not last at all. I believe thy placed the lashes too close to the eyelid that it hurt to blink. I've gotten lash extension before and never experienced pain when blinking. My eyes were red and irritated two days after getting them done here. I made sure to maintain my lashes by cleaning them and brushing them and not even a week later I started noticing them being less full and falling off quickly. This is definitely a place I do not recommend and will not be coming back to. read more
