The place I bought my canopy (not canopy corner) could not get me in for two weeks and then I would have to leave my truck a few days just to look at it. My latch was not working properly. On a hunch I stopped in at Canopy Corner a small local family business (no appointment) and although they were a little busy and it's not a brand they sell, they were eager to earn my business. I told them my problem, and it appeared they knew exactly what the problem might be and told me what they thought high end and low-end fix might cost. They got me in and out with in 30 minutes and for less than $40,00 much less than I was expecting, no new parts needed just missing a screw and a few loose ones. The rear window frame on my ARE canopy came apart and the glass was at risk of falling out and shattering. I temporarily taped the frame together and called Canopy Corner. Jesse got me into the shop quickly. He and his staff were personable and friendly. They quickly diagnosed the issue and re-riveted the frame while also cleaning and relubricating along the way. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes and Jesse refused to charge me. The least I could do was to tip him and his staff for a round of pints. It was super refreshing to get this type of service. I usually don't write reviews but this type of service (less these types of interactions) doesn't happen all that often anymore, so I wanted to let people know about it. Not a well managed location, I would recommend finding somewhere else to purchase a canopy for your truck. I purchased a ARE Z2 topper for my 2022 F-150 in june of 2023 and have had nothing but problems from Canopy Corner. I repeatedly had to make extra trips across town due to miscommunication or mistakes and the topper I have today still has damage from delivery. read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE Salesman told us it "could" be 4 weeks but with Covid it may be 6-8. Ok, sounds reasonable. Its been 12 and all I get is the run around. Sent an email and over a week goes by with no reply. When called they say it will be one more week....every week. They are liars and apparently con men with very poor customer service. Went in just to ask a question about the hydraulic lifts on the back of the camper shell. The one of the hydraulics was no longer working. The nice guy in the garage said that someone should be in the office and they could help us. The guy in the office appeared to be the owner. He was very condescending and didn't seem to want to help much. We just wanted a price range of the cost. We didn't need the exact price, but just an idea. He sure did not want to make us feel like we would want to return to this place of business. I guess our small request was really not important to the business. Went over to Leer in Oregon City, had amazing customer service and walked out of there with two new hydraulic lifts in 2 minutes for less than the price of the same from Canopy Corner. MY STORY: I was told at time of order that it should take 12 weeks to get my new ARE canopy. I finially received it after 18 weeks. I would been ok with the delay, but I had to call them 4 or 5 time to check on the progress. In my view this is not good customer service. After having them install the new top I tried to get the light to work inside the canopy, but it would not come on. After looking around I found that the wiring installation was poor. The install person at Canopy Corner did not clamp the wiring correctly and they came out of the connector. Poor workmanship. read more

I ordered an ARE canopy with a Yakima rack that could carry a ladder. They ordered a Yakima rack with CoreBars. CoreBars do not enable attachments (stops) that can hold a ladder. They refused to credit me for their mistake. I wound up having to purchase JetStream bars for an additional $219.00 (not from these guys). These people don't know what they're doing... watch out. For starters, I want to point out that this is my first ever Yelp review. I figured it had to start somewhere so why not here. I'm giving Canopy Corner a 5 star review for multiple reasons. For starters, the management and staff are really enjoyable to talk to. They very helpful explaining / breaking down things to someone who doesn't necessarily have the full knowledge about the inner workings (do's and don't's) of canopy buying & installing. More importantly, and perhaps the real reason why i'm writing this review is not necessarily to knock their competitors but to praise Canopy Corner for helping me fix a DISASTER of an installing job that i got from a different canopy place, i won't name names but the place is located close to the airport. Story short, the place by the airport failed not once but 2 times on properly installing my new ARE canopy. One the first appointment the wired in the canopy so bad that wires were hanging on the road. not only that but they also left a power drill in the hood of my car. so the next day when i went back to get everything "fixed" they not only didn't seal the canopy with sealant but they also broke my taillight mount on my new 2017 Tacoma, uggh. I knew it was a bad job when water was leaking in practically on all corners in a mild drizzle. I took it to Canopy Corner today to have it installed correctly and i can't tell you how noticeably better the canopy sits on the bed along with how well the sealant fits around the canopy itself. I purchased a new mid-ranged Century canopy on or around the 20th of November 2017 and after the 3rd attempt to receive my new canopy as of January 27, 2018. I was informed by Dave that the Century Canopy would be finished in 2-3 weeks and I should have it for my birthday by the first week of December 2017. On or around the 20th of December 2017 I received a call stating the factory painted it the wrong color. Dave stated it was the factory's fault for the wrong paint code and it would be place on a rush order. On or around the 15th of January 2018 I received a call again from Dave stating the canopy came back but was scratched and wanted to know if I would take a discount or accept a top rack for free. I wanted a new canopy but was leveraged into settling for a rack I didn't want. It's worth mentioning that Dave was never contrite during the process and wouldn't allow me to have the number to the factory. On the week of January 22, 2018 I receive a call stating it was ready and made an appt. to have it installed on January 27, 2018 at 10:00am. Due to more damage the canopy wasn't installed and now I'm left to take more actions to get my canopy correct or would just want a refund and find a company who believes in great customer service and experience. read more

About 4 months ago I purchased my second ARE canopy from Canopy Corner in 3 years. The first one was issue free so figured they had earned my business on the second ARE canopy for my new 2016 Tundra. This time I had issues with the paint on the canopy after just three months. The paint in one small area had four small blemishes and on the other side had 2 small paint bubbles. Both were next to the windows frames. I look the canopy back to Canopy Corner for them to start a warranty claim to get these areas fixed. From what the manager at Canopy Corner explain was the best in the market. He made reference to it being the only lifetime paint warranty in the business. But when I asked how do we get these these fixed he tried to explain the one area was definitely dirt under the pain but the other blemishes were not going to be covered so there was nothing for him to do. I explained, if you agree that there are paint issue why would there be an issue with getting them fixed. His excuse was ARE would not fix them so there's nothing to be done. The feeling I was getting was, I should accept the paint job and it's flaws. After a few attempts to working through the gaping holes in his fuzzy logic and pushing on my part we agree to take pictures of both paint issue areas and have ARE make a decision. Thankfully ARE had no issue with repainting the canopy. I dropped my canopy off at Canopy Corner. I asked for a receipt for them taking possession of my $2200 canopy and was told no. We won't give you a receipt that it wasn't necessary by the manager. I asked for a call in three weeks with an update. I was again was told no by the manager. I would caution others to go elsewhere to buy a canopy. Although I'm happy with the two ARE canopies I purchased. I find the manager at Canopy Corner to have very little customer service, lack of ethics, full of excuses and tries very hard to not stand by the product he sells. read more

Just purchased an ARE CX canopy for my 2014 Ram 2500. They listened to my needs and didn't try to oversell me on a higher-end model. They suggested getting the tipout window, which, at the time I didn't think I needed, until I found out the back of the Ram is curved and my old window washing method of a wash-sponge-on-broom-handle wouldn't work on this truck. I'm glad they made that suggestion. The canopy arrived a few weeks later and it only took them minutes to get it mounted on the truck. Color match was perfect and I couldn't be happier with this purchase. No hidden charges or fees, either. I highly recommend these folks.
