My first time here and wow, such a hidden gem in rocklin. The staff were all super friendly and welcoming. The house made wines were all so delicious my favorite was the Barrera, really tasty and smooth. We got so lucky we got to see their live band after our private event. Came here for a brisket event. First time here is a bit confusing....but learning curve was small. Every person in the place seemed to be a regular and loved this place. The older lady behind the bar is very friendly and very willing to help the lost. The very big TVs give a great view if you want to watch the game of the day. They have two levels. People (customers) here this day were also friendly....not the case always in Roseville. Seems like a fun place. read more

We became club members first time we stopped by. Great wines, lots of live (local) music, and an extremely friendly venue. Dog friendly and usually they have yummy charcuterie boxes to order. read more

This was a great accidental find! I was with friends checking out Loomis and we decided to stop at this winery. So fun! Think neighborhood bar where everyone is welcome. I'm not a big wine drinker but I enjoyed the Rose. It was fruity, fresh, and crisp. They sell charcuterie. The fun part is they had a snack table . People put snacks on a table and everyone was welcome to help themselves. They had a live band. We sang to the music, danced, and cheered. The building was rustic and the atmosphere was layed back. They had a projector shining onto the wall and people watched the football game. I'm coming back for out sure! read more

In my response to my original review quite some time ago yes the downstairs is utilized on occasion. The Farinha brothers are down to earth and willing to discuss their wines when asked. The wine club is definitely worth it, you get great deals on wine when purchasing through your membership. It's a good place to hangout on a Friday or Sunday you're guaranteed to have a good time. The other patrons are very friendly with few exceptions, but this is a reflection on them and not the establishment itself. The ladies working behind the bar - Shana and Christin - are very friendly and provide excellent service. My rating: a solid five stars read more

Cute little rustic spot in old town Rocklin. I had my baby shower here and it was just perfect. Staff was amazing! We were able to bring our own decorations, but the venue also provided tables and chairs which was a big help. The nice touch of lights throughout the room gave it a little something extra. My guests were able to try and purchase some of the wines they sell here and had nothing but good things to say about them. If you are ever looking for a spot to host any type of event definitely give this spot a try. read more

Such an awesome winery! Beautiful rustic historical tasting room! Perfect place to sit and chill on the porch with a glass of their delicious wines looking at the beautiful picture perfect church. Amazing venue for a intimate wedding so pretty. The music on Friday evening is always a fun night they have some amazing local talent playing. Christin who serves is always so welcoming and friendly. This Portuguese family have a delicious wine selection, Petite Syrah and Mourvèdre amongst a few. So glad we found this little gem of a winery never disappoints. read more

This was our final stop on the "Holiday in the Hills" Placer wine tour. I have to say this was my favorite stop of the day too. The rustic features and decor offer an inviting and positive vibe. Our group of 17 came here as the last stop. What a great find this place was. We enjoyed the beautiful decor, hand crafted Petite Syrah, live music, and warm company. Frank, the owner, even set up a pellet burning stove to warm my date and I as we enjoyed the outdoor seating on the beautiful (but chilly) winter night, I could not ask for a better place to take a woman on our second date. The mood was romantic and fun. Inside, there was standing room only for the band who played an eclectic mix of classic rock. We could here the band outside well, and our hostess, Nema, entertained my date and I with stripes of her travels around the world. I will definitely be back, hopefully with the same awesome woman. I had a good visit to Cante Ao Vinho. The owners were accommodating to our large party despite being close to closing. They had a decent list of wine. I ended up really enjoying their Summer's Last Kiss (tasted exactly like summer's last kiss). There's plenty of seating available and lots of free parking. I think it'd be a nice place to unwind on a weekend afternoon if I lived closer. read more
