The service and the food left a lot to be desired. There were four of us with a reservation made a few weeks ago. We were seated at just a normal table in the walkway. We all ordered the Harvest Salad which seemed to just have all greens and not a lot added to it. Certainly did not fill us up at all. Luckily I ordered chicken for mine. However, for a $20 salad and extra for protein I found it very pricey for what we got. There were only a few pea pods and some feta cheese. The servers were also not very friendly and barely checked in on us. With all the other wineries in the area they are surely lacking in luster. read more

It's such a beautiful location and a hidden gem. The food and wines were great and we loved them. I struggle with giving it more than 3/5 stars only because our experience being served was terrible. We got seated and it took easily 30 mins before someone stopped by & we had to call a server over. We ended up getting someone that wasn't assigned to our area but helped us. Then later our actual server came by and acted like he had taken our orders when in reality he never even stopped by so it was just a bit strange. I have been a member since the winery first opened in the barn -- the early days when the wine was exceptional and the staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming. Unfortunately, since the move to the new facility, I have steadily seen the experience decline. The food has always been expensive, though quality has been inconsistent. For example, we once ordered a $65 charcuterie board that included only a few meats, a couple of cheeses, fruit, and Ritz crackers, which was very disappointing for the price point. More concerning, however, has been the noticeable decline in the wine itself. When I first became a member, nearly every wine was outstanding. Over time, even longtime favorites such as the Primitivo have become difficult to enjoy. Recently, I participated in a blind sparkling wine tasting with friends featuring wines from several wineries, and unfortunately the Blanc de Blanc -- once one of my favorites -- was unanimously our least favorite selection. Most recently, when we visited to pick up our wine club order, we realized our membership no longer made sense because we simply no longer enjoy the wines. After canceling, I discovered that my refund amount was incorrect. We had exchanged the release wines in our six-bottle membership for the two wines we preferred most, and I later noticed that one wine was priced differently online than it was at the winery. On April 22, I emailed requesting both an accurate refund and confirmation of my membership cancellation. Since then, I have gone back and forth multiple times with the Operations Manager, who stated last week that both the cancellation and refund would be processed -- neither occurred. I have now been informed they will not honor the online pricing discrepancy and are only willing to refund $0.60 rather than the approximately $17 difference owed. The amount itself is not significant; the issue is the principle. It is disappointing to feel that loyal, longtime customers are being dismissed rather than treated fairly. Notably, the online store pricing has since been corrected, which further validates the discrepancy that was originally brought to their attention. read more

Came here for wine tasting. We sat down and it took a while for us to be greeted. Once we were given waters, our waiter said she would come back with menus but we didnt see her for a while. At one point another server walked by with the confused look and said "have you been helped?" We said we were waiting for menus. He said "I'm sorry about that, usually you have your menus once you're seated." Our original server came back with the menus and everything went well after that. IMO it was a bit expensive for wine tasting in Placer County ($25 for 4 tastings), so we ended up just ordering a glass instead. We had a peach Bellini and a white wine. Both tasted the exact same. We had the brie and fruit and the olive oil tasting. All the food tasted good with beautiful presentation! My favorite olive oil was the jalapeño one. The location is beautiful and quiet. read more

First time here. We were greeted by Briana who was welcoming and accommodating. While we wanted to be seated outside she got us seated quickly inside. Within 5 minutes she came back and was able to move us outside. Once seated out side Rudy was very helpful in suggesting the olive oil tasting and getting us setup with our wine tasting.
