Even though it was a bit spontaneous, I'm so glad I went. Elena was really sweet, welcoming, and pleasant to work with. The whole experience felt very collaborative. She immediately understood what I wanted--at one point, I just made a curtain bangs-like motion with my hands and she got it right away. She also took the time to study the reference picture I brought and asked how closely I wanted to follow it. She checked in about the length, whether I wanted it shorter, and suggested soft layers so the cut would not look flat. I really appreciated how she adjusted the haircut to fit me while still keeping the overall look I wanted. The soft layers framed my face beautifully, and my hair looks so much healthier now. Carol and her helper Ayanni are the bomb and they are sticklers for not getting backed up with clients. I love that! They care about maintaining the health of your hair. Carol is a highly experienced stylist who, even though she's been doing hair for 25+ years, has kept abreast of current trends and styles.
