I'm someone who doesn't wear make-up almost at all, and my only times wearing it were when it was applied by my late sister, who was an artist and always did an amazing job making me feel beautiful. Finding someone to live up to that expectation on one of the most important days of my life was going to be a big ask, but Teresa delivered! I saw her work and recognized that she's clearly able to do a look to highlight brides' beauty without it feeling like they were drowning in make-up that would feel uncomfortable all day, and that's how it turned out when she did mine, as well. She had mentioned this on her website, and her reviews mention it, too, but I had myself (hair & makeup) and three other people getting everything done, and we started at, like 8am (which is way better than what I see some brides say), and that was with a finish time shortly after 1300 or something. I was worried based on the styles I'd picked that it would take north of two hours to finish my look, but she stuck to her timeline without fail, even with my MOH not remembering she'd only requested booking one service and instead finangling her way into getting both done despite the day of change (x.x), which Teresa also managed to accommodate. Had Teresa do my hair and makeup for my wedding a few months ago. She is pricey, but totally worth it. I have super thin hair and she was able to make it magically thicker. Also, it was sweltering hot that weekend and my makeup managed to not melt or smudge at all. I also had a trial with Teresa and actually comes to your house, which is awesome. I live in NY, this weekend was going to be the only weekend I am in the Bay Area for all of my trials and to finalize all the big and small details. Finding a stylist for my wedding was probably the most surprisingly difficult part of the planning process. We wanted someone to come to our home, but we also couldn't afford to pay wedding premium prices. Most of the stylists I contacted charged over double for the bride's hair and makeup styling, but thankfully Teresa does not!
