As soon as you walk in you know this is not a typical Mexican restaurant. It's very beautiful inside and more upscale than usual. Our waitress, Allison, was attentive and helpful. Checked on us often but not hovering! We started with free chips and salsa, very good salsa with a tiny kick. Next we ordered mango margaritas and table side guac. The margaritas are definitely made from scratch, very good mango flavor but get an extra shot if you want to taste liquor. The guacamole was delicious with nice lime flavor. I was disappointed that they had no enchiladas on the menu so I ordered the Molcajete. It's definitely large for one person so plan on bringing home a bag! The food was delicious. The only con was that the meats were not sliced all the way so you had to pull out a chunk to slice. I also feel the steak was a little tough to chew. The pineapple slices were unexpected but delicious. The food came out hot which was great. The chicken fajitas and the steak fajitas were also very good. If you order it with cheese, it's going to be melted in and the pineapple is cut up and mixed in which was unexpected and was the only downside. Hubby liked the shrimp bowl. All in all we had a great meal and would come again.

We were the group every restaurant hates to see, 9 people aged 8 to 80 arriving 45 min before closing for full service dinner. From the outstanding service to the drinks to the various plates, almost everything was top notch. Out of 9 different meals, only one said theirs was off the mark. Ambience was a very cool, upscale feel. Definite return if back in the area and craving Mexican.

I've been here for happy hour a couple times now and both times its been relatively bustling. The food here is good and their happy hour pricing is very fair. 6 dollar coconut margs are nice and chips and chorizo queso for 6 bucks would be too, if you could get someone to bring you a chips refill. I subtracted two stars because on each of my trips here, the service has pretty much sucked. Both times our party was basically totally forgotten about...no refills on chips or waters and we had to go off elsewhere inside to flag someone down simply to get and then pay our bill. Unfortunately, this consistent shoddy service keeps me from returning in the future. Oh well, lots of other happy hours in Myrtle to enjoy, like Sol y Luna in Carolina Forest.

The food was great the service was great and the restaurant is beautiful. Bathrooms were very clean. Prices were very reasonable. We had a group of 8 for early lunch. Everyone was happy with their meal. Generous portions too.

    Watermelon Mint Frozen Margarita

Cantina Imperfecto was perfectly delicious! The vegetable burrito bowl and chipotle shrimp were tasty and well seasoned. I've had lots of Mexican rice and theirs was some of the best. My absolute favorite thing was the watermelon mint frozen margarita. I would go back just for that! Our server, Jennifer was great and the ambiance was great for a nice night out.

My family and I went down to Myrtle beach in November of last year and we found this place on Yelp. It was our favorite place we went to! It was a really nice ambiance. There was 10 of us in our party and that was no issue. It was more "upscale" Mexican food. I had a variety of tacos and my wife did as well. If we ever find ourselves down in Myrtle beach again we're going to make sure to come again

What a fabulous restaurant! It was our first time and we were blown away! The decor is amazing and the drinks, food and service were absolutely outstanding! If you're looking for a Mexican restaurant that's a bit more upscale, this is definitely the place!!!!

Not what I was expecting. Was a bit different than my regular Mexican joint. The short rib I got was very delicious. Granted there was only one so thank God we had chips and salsa to eat. Two bars here with typical spirits.

This was probably my favorite spot we ate at this past summer on vacation. We found out it's owned by another restaurant we love, Drift, and we knew this was going to be a bomb meal too. The space was huge and very upscale for Mexican food which I appreciated. Service was also great and that was hard to come by on our entire vacation so props to them. The food was amazing. Every single thing I ate was delicious. The street corn and ACP were faves. We also tried two desserts and I still think about them to this day. Their cocktail menu was also great, I wanted every margarita but obviously that wasn't possible. Just means this has to be a regular stop every year while on vacation which is great with me!

AFFORDABLE Mexican restaurant without compromising the aesthetics. Delicious cocktails and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Highly recommend coming for lunch -- one of the best price meals we had all trip and we all left pleasantly surprised & full.

My husband and I decided to try something during our visit to Myrtle Beach. Based on the reviews we decided why not and we weren't disappointed. To start nice salsa and ceviche and a very tasty watermelon mint margarita frozen and non-alcoholic drink. Al Pastor and fish tacos with refried beans and rice. To finish we had churro with vanilla ice cream. We enjoyed everything with tip about $80 check them out and oh the ambiance is very nice

Came here for lunch because we were craving margaritas and Mexican and this place didn't disappoint! I love that they serve you chips ans salsa as a complimentary starter. There is a dress code however so beware of that - no tank tops, hats, etc. Our server was great, food came out quick, and the drinks and food we got were good! I'd definitely come back.

Went for happy hour 4-7pm. Margarita's were amazing along with the carne asada tacos, mini quesadillas & queso! Service was fantastic! Really cool bar & vibe.

The outside is great for families or for a date night. They have a section where they have an outside bar so you can be by the water. They also have a small stage that I'm sure they have music outside. So we started off with drinks and some appetizers. We had the calamari, street corn dip and the margarita. We had the steak with a side order of shrimp, had the Big chill burger with an extra side the Hawaiian pasta salad and the Big Chill Island salad with chicken. Service was good. The apps were tasty and if you like spicy hot it was good. The steak and shrimp was good and flavorful, the burger was good but not the pasta salad. It was not good, that even my daughter didn't like it. As for my Big Chill Island salad was also a disappointment. Not sure what it was but the flavors just didn't go well together. I always like to give places a second try so we might come back and I will try another dish.

The fries looked and tasted like they were heated up after being cooked and sitting. Honestly, something as easy as making french fries. A $30 dish that i did not find to be even mediocre. My group ordered different plates and for the most part, no complaints but no one raved over their meal either. The drinks were good. I had the sangria and enjoyed it. The hula and fire show is good. I think that's all they have going for them. Our server (I forgot to ask his name) was good. He has an enthusiastic personality and a pleasure. Our table was right in front of the stage. No complaints there!

I've been to Bar 19 twelve for drinks before and have always been impressed by its modern decor,…read morelighted bar and excellent drink selection handled by professional bartenders. Since it was my father's last night in North Myrtle Beach until September I thought it would be a great place to have our last dinner together for a while. I dialed up my app and made a 7PM reservation for three. We pulled in about 6:50 and found a spot right in front of the restaurant...it was going to be a good night. We got inside and chose to sit indoors near the bar. My father likes to see people and I felt this would be a good spot to do this and it was. The restaurant was mid century modern in design, airy and uncluttered...we were seated in a booth - chair combo that was a rendition of that style. We looked at the drink menu and my father went for a glass of Pinot Noir, his friend went for a lemon drop martini and I went for a Heineken 00. The waitress couldn't be nicer and quickly brought us our drinks. The lemon drop was perfect and served in an ice cold steel martini glass while my father was quite happy with his California Pinot. We reviewed the food menu and decided to share two "tables"...the deviled eggs and the pimento cheese dip with home made pork rinds. Within a few minutes, four deviled eggs arrived dressed up with a slice of jalapeño and sprinkled with bacon bits. A large plate of fresh pork rinds with homemade pimento cheese came out simultaneously. The deviled eggs were excellent with just the right texture and not too moist...the bacon bits added another layer of flavor and the jalapeño gave it a nice kick, however, the pork rinds and pimento cheese stole the show. The rinds were light and fluffy with just the right amount of crunch and the pimento cheese was superb...very flavorful with nice chunks of pimento and grated cheese. My father was diving in on the cheese so fast it was tough to get some. His lady friend also commented on how good it was. Next came the mains. My father settled in the American Waygu Burger with hand cut fries, I went for the lamb rack with string beans and roasted fingerling potatoes and the lady went for the Arugula salad with candied pecans, Granny Smith apples , goat cheese and craisins. My lamb was excellent...medium rare with a nice flavorful crust with a hint of garlic and herbs. The potatoes were well roasted and tasty while the string beans were cooked correctly but a tad bland. The arugula salad was delicious with a nice citrus dressing that played well with the candied pecans and craisins...the smith apples was a nice contrast. My father in the other hand, ate way too much pimento cheese and rinds and as a result just picked in his fries, which were excellent...salted well, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. He ended up taking the burger home. Amazingly, when dessert was brought up he was all in. Although known for their "Butter Cake" we decided to share(and by share I mean my father had about 90% of it) the Triple Layer Chocolate Cake. Turns out it's as good as it sounds...intense chocolate flavor in a very moist cake with vanilla ice cream and homemade whipped cream on the side...top notch. Sadly, it was getting late and my father had an early plane to catch so we got the bill(more reasonable than I expected), tipped the excellent waitress and said our good nights. We made plans to come back in September...although I'll be back well before that...Bar 19 Twelve will be going on my rotation.
