    Meatloaf sandwich

Omg the meatloaf sandwich. Great outside bar, bartender and view. Nice to find a place that's not fried everything.

    Meatloaf sandwich. Burned bun.

After golf a couple of days ago, my husband and I stopped in for a light dinner. Never been here before, but it looked fresh from the outside, and the inside was comfortable and on the classy side. Service was prompt. And then things went downhill. Because I have a condition that reacts badly to cold, I asked for light ice in my drink. It came loaded. I skimmed some out, then the server apologized and brought another. Same deal - loaded with ice. Sandwiches came. My meatloaf wasn't bad, But the bun was burned. My husband's crispy chicken sandwich was so tough I suggested he ask for a steak knife. It was also flavorless. Waitress offered to get something else for him. Hamburger that came out was just ok.

The view of the golf course was nice. The service was very attentive and good. The food was decent, but not exceptional. Very overpriced compared to other places we have had in the area.

Yum! The 4 of us sat outside and the food was phenomenal. Drinks were great. Ginger Lemon Drop, S'mores Martini for beverages were very well made. Apps of Burrata and wings, both great! Service excellent. Three entrees were the grouper special and one had the Pork Belly. No one had any complaints. Would definitely come back!

Roasted vegetables, seafood limoncello risotto and fried green tomatoes.

Recap: excellent all around. The only problem with eating at Bar 19 Twelve is parking - the lot isn't large and is shared with another restaurant that has valet that blocks off some spots for their use. No biggie. Service was pleasant, knowledgeable, and friendly. The cocktails were very creative - we tried the resposado / mescal and the lemon / ginger cocktails - both were unique and very tasty. We tried the special lump crab meat and shrimp cocktail - the crab was wonderful although the shrimp were a little smaller than expected and not as firm as they should be. The fried green tomatoes and the roasted vegetables were delicious. The jalapeño bacon wrapped shrimp were amazing - delicious on first bite and then the heat kicked in - woo! The seafood limoncello risotto was a home run - such great flavors. The other dish we tried was a main special - a really special grouper - wonderful. Our favorite meal for the week we spent in Myrtle Beach!

This restaurant was recommended by somebody we golfed with. It did not disappoint land ived up to its expectations. They had awesome old-fashions. The bruschetta appetizer was one of the best we've ever had. Prime rib special that night was very good. The rack of lamb was one of the best I've ever had as well. We asked for Vicki since she was recommended to us. And she was very knowledgeable friendly and a great waitress. Make sure you make reservations. Very nice place great atmosphere and worth every penny we paid for the meal. We will definitely go back and need to try their other restaurant right next-door.

Filet was perfectly cooked to my medium request Quality meat, outstanding flavor

Phenomenal food, service and ambiance! Went on my birthday and fell in love with this awesome local restaurant. Our waitress was great her husband is originally from Maryland and she recommended the crab cakes because her husband loves them and we definitely loved them as well. Being from Maryland ourselves we know good crab cakes. Jumbo lump and no filers! Owner onsite and was hostess very nice guy!

Fun, more upscale restaurants in NMB right off King's Highway. I came here with my friend and his mom and we had a fabulous meal! They offer a nice cocktail list and have a full bar. We had the smoked peach (mine), the sidecar, and the french 75- all were terrific! For my meal I had the apple salad with nuts and the crab cake sandwich; this was one of the best crab cake sammys I've had! I will definitely be back!

The outside is great for families or for a date night. They have a section where they have an outside bar so you can be by the water. They also have a small stage that I'm sure they have music outside. So we started off with drinks and some appetizers. We had the calamari, street corn dip and the margarita. We had the steak with a side order of shrimp, had the Big chill burger with an extra side the Hawaiian pasta salad and the Big Chill Island salad with chicken. Service was good. The apps were tasty and if you like spicy hot it was good. The steak and shrimp was good and flavorful, the burger was good but not the pasta salad. It was not good, that even my daughter didn't like it. As for my Big Chill Island salad was also a disappointment. Not sure what it was but the flavors just didn't go well together. I always like to give places a second try so we might come back and I will try another dish.

The fries looked and tasted like they were heated up after being cooked and sitting. Honestly, something as easy as making french fries. A $30 dish that i did not find to be even mediocre. My group ordered different plates and for the most part, no complaints but no one raved over their meal either. The drinks were good. I had the sangria and enjoyed it. The hula and fire show is good. I think that's all they have going for them. Our server (I forgot to ask his name) was good. He has an enthusiastic personality and a pleasure. Our table was right in front of the stage. No complaints there!

There was also live music playing, which really brought the place to life and made the atmosphere even more enjoyable. For food, we ordered the shrimp meal and the gumbo soup. The gumbo was delicious and packed with meat, very hearty and flavorful. My only complaint is that I asked for less meat due to an upset stomach, but they weren't able to accommodate that, which I understand. The crackers served with the soup also tasted a bit old and off. The shrimp, however, was very tasty and enjoyable. We attempted to visit LuLus on Thursday, but they were closed due to A/C issues. We came back on Friday and were glad we did. The staff was incredibly friendly and kind from the moment we arrived. They also have a cute shop attached to the restaurant where I was able to get some Aloe Vera to help ease my sunburn, which was super convenient. Would highly recommend!

There was a sign outside saying they weren't going to be opening that day, or were opening late, or something to that effect. We were short on time, so we started looking around for somewhere else to eat at Barefoot Landing, pretty disappointed that we couldn't go to our favorite spot. That said, I saw there was a new place called Lulu's right around the corner. I checked out their menu, and it looked like a fun place to eat. The pictures of the food looked pretty good, so off we went. Upon arriving, the first thing that struck me was the big, open atmosphere of the establishment. It wasn't very cozy, but the hostess did greet us in a friendly manner and took us to our seats--which ended up being one of the worst aspects of this restaurant. I have never been more uncomfortable sitting in a restaurant in my life. I know that's a weird gripe, but these were some of the most uncomfortable chairs I've ever sat in. They hurt so bad. My kids were seated on the benches across from us, and they could barely even reach the table. My wife switched places with my son, and the benches were covered in what looked like footprints and dirt from people standing on them. Our server was very friendly and attentive. We started off with drinks. We all got soft drinks, and every single one of them was flat. We ordered the fried green tomatoes, and they were OK. The dipping sauce was great. My wife and son ordered the tacos, which they said were bland, tasteless, and pretty underwhelming. My daughter ordered a kids' cheeseburger, took one bite, and said it was disgusting. Unfortunately for me, I ordered one of the most expensive things on the menu: a seafood entrée where you get to pick two items. I picked the fish and oysters, both fried. Some of the oysters tasted like they were kind of rotten--very fishy. The fish itself was OK, but the breading they used was absolutely atrocious. It tasted like the oil hadn't been changed in weeks. The fry on the fish was dark and had an almost burnt, overly salty taste to it. Absolutely terrible. As we were about to leave, a live band started playing, and they sounded pretty nice. I wish they had been playing while we were still eating, but by that point we were so ready to get out of there. We were incredibly disappointed. The real shocker came when I got the check. For our family of four, it was almost $110 before the tip. This food was in no way worth that kind of price. I honestly would've rather gone to a fast-food restaurant. This place gets two stars simply because the staff we encountered were friendly and because of the live music. Otherwise, this is one of the most boring, aesthetically unappealing restaurants I've ever been in, with some of the worst overpriced food I've ever had. Never again. We definitely won't be back.

We each picked a couple items, and at first I was skeptical about how well such a mixed menu would come together. That skepticism didn't last long. What's impressive is how they manage to cover different cuisines and still execute them well. The shishito peppers came perfectly grilled and paired with an amazing sauce that really elevated them beyond a typical appetizer. The meatballs felt like something straight out of a family kitchen comforting, rich, and reminiscent of grandma-style cooking. The shrimp scampi was another standout: flavorful, well-balanced, and not overdone with butter or garlic. But the real highlight of the night was the pistachio espresso martini so smooth, creative, and easily one of the most memorable cocktails on the menu. Overall, it's a great spot for sharing plates and trying a little bit of everything. It turns what could feel like a scattered menu into a fun, consistently solid dining experience.
