Decided to try this place out today and it did not disappoint. Service was very attentive and the food was AMAZING. Authentic Oaxacan Mexican food. Husband had the Burrito Norteno (pork) with tomatillo sauce. I had the shrimp brochette. Both were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The guacamole that came with the shrimp was so delicious. I typically don't care about guacamole but I ate every bite. La Ambiciosa margarita was a bit strong but not to the taste. Careful not to order a second too soon! read more

We walked in on a Sunday afternoon and except for the staff and one person at the bar, the entire restaurant was empty...that should have been our first clue. I will start by saying the facilities are very nice but that's pretty much where the positives end. The service was slow, the table side guacamole tasted good but it took so long for our server to make it that our dinner was served immediately after she finished making the guacamole. The food was meh, not horrible but nothing to write home about. Also, it was not served as we ordered it, chicken taco and beef enchilada with red sauce when we ordered a beef taco and chicken enchilada with verde sauce and our daughter ordered her burrito with no cheese sauce and it came out smothered. The margaritas were fair but would have been better if they had been served right after they were made; my fiancé had to go find and retrieve them after they had been sitting on the bar for a while. All-in-all, If you're in the mood for Mexican food, I'd say skip this place and try somewhere else. read more

New restaurant at the Ted's location, newly renovated to match the style of restaurant with a warm feel. This place had nice bar area and plenty of seating options. The service was prompt, friendly and always checking on us. The chips and salsa are good, could've had a bit more of kick / heat to it imo. Wife ordered the Carne Guisada, which is steak strips cooked in a ranchero sauce..that was amazing! Great flavor, tender meat, definitely recommend. I had the enchiladas Rojas, chicken enchiladas with guijillo sauce, it was okay not bad. I wish chicken enchiladas had some type of sauce mixed with the chicken so it's not so dry but that's just me. For desert we shared the Mexican chocolate cheesecake with raspberry sauce on the side. Delicious! Overall we would stop again and try a different menu item. The bar drinks are Wonderful. Had the tuna ceviche and shrimp ceviche, Amazing. Tasteful decor, more high end than your typical Mexican restaurant. They also have a patio with opening garage doors. Now my regular when in Ardmore!!! read more

The food was great, but the service was not. We observed our server drinking out of a Stanley, which made us wonder if he was under the influence. He kept spilling water on the floor, and on someone in our party. Whole taking our drink order, we told him another server had already, he then responded that he was just trying to help but now everyone was mad at him. He forgot to place two of our party members orders. Later, after using the restroom, I told him there was water all over the floor in the women's restroom. He responded that he knew, he was trying to mop it up, and mentioned that it got there because he was pouring water in the sink to help with them bathroom smell. For the most part the food was really good, the only negative would be the beans, and rice had very little flavor. The tamales were excellent, the guacamole was excellent along with the chili-based salsa. The Tejas lunch dish was also very good. Service was excellent, our waitress was very attentive, friendly and seemed to know the menu well. The hostess was very polite and seated us promptly. First time visiting here and will definitely be back. The fajitas were fabulous. Also tried their Baja fish tacos and the slaw put the taco over the top! Also had their Diablo margarita as well as the smoked pineapple margarita and they did not disappoint. They tasted great! Will definitely be back when we are in the area again! Traveling through and wanted Ted's. Didn't know the name changed. Service was good for and empty restaurant on a Sunday afternoon and hostess sat us at the furthest table away from door. Had to listen to employees chatter, fold napkins and listen to their social media and facetime friends on full blast. Again, restaurant was empty and they sat us near them. I had the fajita enchiladas. I would not recommend. It was block of cheese wrapped in a tortilla with 4 slices of fajita meat on top. Two plates, one tea with tip $50. Sorry but don't waste your time. Taco Casa is a better value. read more

Unsure if it was bad service or if they're so new they're still working out kinks. Sat at bar, no one came to help us so we moved to a table. Same thing, kept waiting & waiting. Majority of the empty tables around us were dirty. After some time we finally had a waitress come by. Waited a very long time for drinks. Also ordered a margarita but after a long wait we were told they were out of margarita mix. Just seemed like a lot of people running around with no idea what was going on. Extremely unorganized. Long waits on drink refills. Food was okay except for the ground beef seemed to be undercooked. Cute place. Hopefully they can get it together. read more

So started off pretty good! Really pretty restaurant nice layout, clean nice colors. Honestly the salsa was really good. And the first watermelon mango mojito was amazing. It starts to turn when I get my beer I ordered a modelo draft and it came 3/4 full with no head on the beer and it wasn't dressed however I can over look that because I didn't ask nor was asked for it. We got the queso fundido however I believe we were brought the wrong one it's was the vegan option I think.. moving on we ordered the fajitas. Highly disappointed. It didn't come out sizzling which isn't a huge deal but not even a little bit it seems to have rice and beans on the cast iron which tells me they plate it in advanced so when the vegetables and meat go on it's already cooled off. They used chicken breast and cut it into 3 pieces which Is an interesting choice with chicken breast getting really dry and not holding in to much flavor. The steak was the same concept being okay at best. The worst part here was when my wife ordered a second drink it came completely different than the first with the mint being almost minced. It was almost undrinkable, and extremely strong compared to the first drink (which is not a positive for a casual night out) It was weirdly empty for being a Friday night at 8pm on a pay day. The service was okay she did her Best But maybe she was new? This restaurant really feels like a great idea but they didn't do market research before opening. Prices were high and it seems to being going for upscale Mexican but they missed the mark on training staff for the issues that arise with having higher prices is the expectation is also higher. I'm not quite sure if I'd try this again the final total for. App, combo fajitas x2 watermelon mango mijito x2 and one modelo was $86 dollars. Honestly not horrible but it wasn't at all what I'd expect for that price point. TLDR: A beautiful upscale restaurant in downscale area. Inconsistent drinks, good salsa, slightly overpriced More like out pricing themselves but feels like overhead is high so it has to be priced high. Empty restaurant during a main business day. TBH wouldn't risk it if you're wanting a casual dinner and doesn't execute well enough to be a nicer date place. Would prefer a "lower scale" Mexican restaurant like El Tapatio. The food was delicious ! I loved the black bean salsa and honestly I am not a big black bean person. It was very very good ! The service was outstanding . we were greeted by all and RC was absolutely fabulous. !!!! The Ambiance was very relaxed and the place was clean and me and my boyfriend enjoyed our dinner very much . We are not local and were looking for a place to eat and happened across it. They should market this place and possibly put some eye catching advertisement outside or even on the windows to bring more attention to it . It could easily be overlooked due to the fact the sign is not big and we were not even sure if it was open until we stopped and went in to ask. I highly recommend this place. The prices were good and the food was delicious and the entire group of people were so nice !!!! We will be going back to Ardmore just so we can go back again . read more

SERVICE WAS THE BEST! If you want some good Cantina Food this will turn you on! I got the Ahi Tuna Ceviche and i recommend 11/10 the best ahi tuna i have ever had! The Vibe is awesome with the Decor and everything if you want good food this is the place to be! read more

I know there is El Tapitio and Casa Romo that are good places, but this place is fresh and delicious! The food is cooked to perfection and drinks are just as good.. The wait staff or so kind and attentive to all your needs.. The menu is set at excellent prices to fit every budget and the decor is so modern. I give it a 9.5/10. I recommend and try for yourself..
