This is a really good Chinese restaurant. Its not anything inventive though, but very well done. It does have a nice dining room, but I normally get take out. They're quick, so if you are looking for a quick dinner they're the best. Their portion sizes are HUGE! My daughter and I can eat dinner and have enough for me to take the rest for lunch the next day. I love the almond chicken, sweat and sour chicken, and the won ton soup! read more

Probably the best Chinese food in the area !!! They're more Americanized than empress of China on dort highway , more Cantonese style . Their chicken egg rolls and garlic chicken are great ! First-timer in Sept 2018 to Caton Chinese and was very pleased. Out-of-towner who was tired and needed an evening meal and happened upon Canton Chinese on Fenton Road by luck. Lucky! Low volume in the parking lot at 8PM. Ordered Hot & Sour soup (deelish) and it came with crunchies. Chicken w/Broccoli in white sauce with a side of chicken fried rice. Portion were well beyond single serving; took half back to my hotel. Fried egg roll was tasty, too. All of this and a Diet Coke was $12 total before tip. Food seemed very fresh, very hot and very tasty. Even the hot Chinese mustard came in a ballpark squirt bottle. My recommendation would be give Canton Chinese your attention if you like the Chinese/Canton style meal. read more

Yikes. Have been coming here for years and today they were definitely off. Egg drop soup tasted like a bowl of grease and then general's chicken was over cooked and crunchy. Waitress was horrible and could have cared less. Charged us for the inedible meal until I asked for a refund. Last trip here for sure. read more

Ordered a large takeout order (for6), yesterday. When I arrived, to my surprise, there was a wait line for takeout! Four before me and two walked in after. I waited my turn and my order was ready to go, the people waiting didn't wait long. Mind you this was a busy saturday night and the tables looked mostly full (there was a small partition blocking my view). Customer service was just right for how busy they seemed and understandably one of the hosts was a bit flustered, but all went well. We have been wanting to give this place a try after several recommendations so we did today. The fried rice was good and I like that you get a soup with every dinner. The egg foo young didn't taste the best compared to what I've had throughout my life. The gravy wasn't the traditional brown or sometimes yellow color. Our first visit after reading many positive reviews. We went for lunch. Excellent value for your money. Our party of three ordered from the lunch special menu. My son had the sweet and sour chicken with wonton soup and chicken fried rice. The chicken was tender and not soaked in grease like other places. My daughter had the chicken lo mein also with wonton soup & chicken fried rice. She was impressed with the large pieces of chicken in the fried rice. I ordered General Tso's chicken. The waitress told me they were out of dark meat and it would be served with white. She delivered sesame chicken. I don't know where the mix up was but it was delicious! I don't know if sesame chicken is usually dark meat; but my meal was tender white meat. I didn't mind the mix up and I was pleasantly surprised to get a discount at the register. Good Chinese food. Portions are very large. This was our go-to place when we lived in Grand Blanc. I've found better in Genesee County since then, but this place is still really good. The absolute hands down best Chinese food in the Flint area! The had burned out and rebuilt and the service is the same. Friendly staff make you feel like family. They remember you, especially the kids which always made our girls feel special, even now that they are older. I have never had anything that was bad and the food is always fresh. Nothing ever tastes "leftover" like some Chinese restaurants. I would recommend the restaurant to anyone. Great for take out or dine in.
