My experience at Canton Dental was as professional, timely, and pleasant as a Dental office can be. I had an infected first molar that had a hole in it, which I had attempted to get extracted at another office, where I was not properly numbed with the anesthetic and was extremely painful when the dentist tried to extract it. This caused me to develope a fear of the dentist, as this was my first ever dental procedure aside from a regular cleaning. I came to Canton Dental after another episode of having a severe infection to try again to remove the tooth (as petrified as I was.) Dr. Rabanal did a FANTASTIC job! Along with his assistant, Charles, together they made the experience much less frightening than I anticipated. I did not even feel the pressure that the doctor said I would! The entire procedure took less than 10 minutes! Everyone here, from the front desk staff to the Doctors, assistants, and hygienists were all happy, and pleasant people. Just from sitting in the patient chair, you can see and hear how well this team works together to create a uniquely perfectly run practice. I would absolutely recommend this practice to anyone who needs a regular cleaning to a more complex treatment plan. There aren't too many dental offices that are so high-tech, remarkably clean, and every team member appearing to love their job! This really changed my outlook of the Dentist, after my last experience, and I will NEVER put off another procedure again, as long as they're still around! I have been going to Canton Dental Associates for my regular cleanings and exams since (nearly) this time last year and could not imagine going anywhere else! To start, you simply can't beat the location, which is just a 5/10-minute drive from my job at Johns Hopkins. Last week, I was able to fit in a cleaning during my lunch break, which is great for someone on the go! The receptionists are quick to greet me with a smile every time I come to the office--and I know they aren't just getting me to flash my maybe-not-so-pearly-whites to warn the hygienists. My wait is minimal but enjoyable as the receiving room is always clean, well-lit, and stocked with exciting issues of popular magazines. As regards the hygienists at Canton Dental Associates, they could not be more friendly or engaging. They maintain the utmost professionalism, too. I have never experienced any painful jabbing, whether physical OR emotional--okay, sometimes I forget to floss and I could (maybe) ease up on the coffee. My interactions with Dr. Kilian and Dr. Rollor (and Dr. Morini, too--when she was there) are always pleasant. I have never felt like I was made to get unnecessary X-rays or had a product pushed on me, which is refreshing! I am eyeing Invisalign, however, and I know that both Dr. K and Dr. R have a great track record. I recommend Canton Dental Associates to any and everyone who hasn't been to the dentist in a while. If you are dissatisfied with your current provider make the switch! You won't find better service in the Baltimore-area! read more

Canton Dental is by far THE BEST dental office I have ever been to. I have been doing Invislign with Dr. Lin and she has made the process so effortless for me. From the initial consultation, to impressions, to changing trays, to the follow up appointments she has cared about each step and achievement all of the way. With the technology Dr.Lin has brought into her practice I was able to see a 3D image of my mouth from start to finish to view the entire invislign process. My experience at Canton Dental has always been delighful. The staff Canton have always conducted themselves with the utmost professionalism. However, the primary reason I've chosen Canton for my dental needs is Dr. Margaret O'Connell. Prior to her move to Catonsville, her practice was located in Bowie, MD, which was about 20 minutes away. I was so pleased with the job she did on my teeth, I decided to keep her as my dentist, even though she is now about an hour and ten minutes away. I've had a number of dentists during my lifetime, but Dr. O'Connell is by far the best. Her "bedside manner" and the skills in which she displays in performing her duties is second to none. read more

I've been a patient for 10 years or so and can confidently say "everyone" at this practice and "everything" they've done over that time is great. Their COVID response was rapid and thorough and made sense. But they still did everything possible to work with patients on rush needs (I sent a photo of a cracked tooth that wasn't hurting - yet - and they said 'come on in!') Bottom line is they just really want to help to patients. I recommend to every--- ... Wait, if a bunch of people see this and sign up maybe it will be harder for ME to get an appointment? ... ... I really enjoy this dental office, everyone from the front desk to the dentists are extremely nice and friendly. I never feel pressured into doing any unnecessary procedures. I've been going here for about three years and am happy with them after several cleanings and one cavity filled. The hygienists and dentists are friendly and have been gentle with me when I tell them I have sensitive gums. Facilities look clean and well maintained. I have been coming to Canton Dental for the past 5 years. I moved to DC about 2 years ago and I still go there. it is worth the drive. Very nice staff... location is off the highway so the drive isn't actually that bad. Dr. Lin is very nice and gentle and I recently got the same day crown via the cool 3D printer looking machine.
