Plots can also be reserved through online. One rental per household. All gardeners are required to sign a rental agreement before gardening. Weekly at the Canton Farmers Market, dedicated volunteers provide seasonal lawn and garden information and displays on topics such as container gardening, composting, vegetable gardening and houseplants. Market shoppers bring photos of plants or leaves from a tree seeking advice from the garden experts. Perennial Exchanges : Plant Swaps are hosted at the Farmers Market in May and October. Fall Plant Exchange are held in late September and early October.

Also bought cauliflower, cabbage, two onions, and a cucumber. All were absolutely delicious for a perfect summer dinner. Sautéed one onion and the cabbage with some bacon. Steamed then Sautéed the cauliflower with some butter. Chunked up the other onion with tomatoes and cucumber and added some dressing for a great little salad. Served it all with some steaks off the grill, and it made for an awesome combo for the dads. I also took advantage of their 6 for 25 jams, preserves, and salsa jars. Got a hot chunky salsa, orange marmalade, blackberry jam, raspberry jam, strawberry jam, and hot pepper jelly. I already used the pepper jelly with some brie for an appetizer today. It would rock pared with any soft cheese, even cream cheese. I can't wait to use the other jams. Super quality for super cheap. Stop in. You are bound to find something delightful.

It was a Saturday afternoon and a perfect fall day - which meant our idea wasn't entirely original and everyone also also wanted cider and donuts. If it looks calm and quiet from the road, it might be false advertising. The entrance to the building is in the back, and the line goes through the building and then out the back entrance. Under normal circumstances, the line really wasn't that long, but the line was moving at a snail's pace. There were really only two people working but one cashier register. And they just weren't moving very fast. I can appreciate that they were understaffed (as so many businesses are these days) but there was a complete lack of urgency that made everyone a bit annoyed to wait in the line. They do have a few picnic tables in the back for people to sit and enjoy their snacks. They also offer cups so we can enjoy our cider right away. This place is a satellite site of their main Cider Mill, but I think the owners need to look into giving this place a little bit more love when it comes to staffing. If I were to come here again, I'd do so on a different day. I imagine that it's a better experience at 3pm in the afternoon on a Tuesday. That being said, don't come here on a weekend thinking you can pop in and out.

Not that pasteurized ick they try to tell you is real. Conveniently located on the edge of Plymouth, heading out to Ann Arbor, this is a great stop for quality cider. There are some picnic tables and plenty of food items to pick from but it is decidely less frills and adventures. It works for people like me though because it is super close to my parents house. It carries everything I need and it is not an all day extravaganza surrounded by endless families. I like kids and I like to act like a kid on occasion but sometimes I just want to pick up some cider or apples and skedaddle. This place is not without atmosphere, they have a nice woodstove and friendly employess and all the smells and happiness offered elsewhere. If you are nearby you gotta give it a whirl, it is a very short trek from Ann Arbor too.

The selection is definitely on the small side, but the store has certain items I buy almost every time, so it's one of my 3 go-to grocery stores (along with Kroger and Costco). It's excellent for milk, cheese, certain breakfast cereals, salsa, hummus, and some frozen items. It has a good selection of German chocolates, though I wouldn't call them inexpensive. The store is wide-open and reasonably clean. The biggest demerit is that some of the employees are inconsiderate or even come off as rude. I sometimes shop towards the end of the day, and there often seems to be a floor cleaner machine following me around, nipping at my heels. Worse than that, many of the cashiers act like their pants are on fire, racing to scan food items and ungently dropping or practically throwing them into the shopping cart in a haphazard manner. That does bug me, and they have torn a bag of flour and damaged some of my food items before, such as fruit and bread. I took one star off for that.
