Canyon cab has changed. We haven't used them in a few years because of old vehicles. Today we had a newer vehicle with a great driver. Picked us up at the perfect time and drove to the airport from spearfish. The price was 150 plus tax which I thought was high. Hopefully that will come down. 5 stars for Canyon cab! read more

horrible service, called in the morning early for a ride at 4 in the afternoon said yes. Waited until 5:10pm and no one showed. Called on the same phone we ordered a ride on and went straight to voicemail like it was blocked. Called on another phone and they stated they tried to call multiple times (lie) and told that the driver turned around. Super crappy that the company would leave us hopeful and thinking we were gonna be picked up and not even be told the cab cancelled. read more

Cab showed 30 minutes late and offered no good explanation besides traffic. No ETA or calls answered. 40 dollars for a 1.5 mile ride into town. Bad overall. Try another cab service or lyft / Uber. Will not use again. ​ read more

I used this service 7 months ago and was pleased! I do think they are a tad bit pricey but I still appreciate their service. I called them again for another ride from the airport and again I'm pleased! The choices here are limited. I also saw a negative review on here which is absurd because the reviewer admitted it was their fault their flight was delayed and they did not notify the company! read more

I called the night before to request a 4.30am pick up to take me to the airport. At 4.35am, no cab. I call the dispatcher and "he's on his way". At 4.55am, no cab. I call the dispatcher and am rudely told: "calm down, he's only a few blocks away". At 5am, the cab arrives. The driver tells me the dispatcher hadn't called him until I'd made the first call. I used to use this service before I moved away and recently returned only to find their new general manager Marcella is extremely short and very rude on the phone. I will now be looking for an alternative for my rides. read more

The rates change from driver to driver and you have to beg the dispatcher to actually send a cab to locations because it's "late"...then don't advertise 24/7. Lyft and Uber would make a killing out here. read more

My cat needed emergency care in the middle of the night. The nearest emergency clinic is 30 miles away in Rapid City. I called around and no-one picked up the phone even though they said they were 24 hrs. I called Canyon Cab Co and within a short time they were at my doorstep. Got me to the vet, waited for me and brought me home. Four days later I hired them again to pick up my kitty from the hospital. Thanks to them 'Hooper' survived and is doing great. I don't have a dependable car so this service in Sturgis is so needed and greatly appreciated. I recommend them highly. read more

I did one star because I couldn't do 0!!! I had scheduled a pick up from the airport and my flight was cancelled so I spent all morning on the phone with the airlines trying to get another flight and I forgot to call and cancel...so my fault there...so I get a call from the driver and I told her what happened and I apologized profusely and she said "oh no that's horrible" speaking about my flight situation and then said ok thank you and hung up. Two minutes later the boss I presume calls me and out of the gate he was an a$$ hole! Told me I wasted his time and other fairs he could have got...I apologized more and explained that I was on the phone all morning...he interrupts and says I don't care! You could have called and told me I think you should pay me my fare!! I said I'm sorry again and he said that isn't good enough!! I told him well there isn't anything I can do and then his reply...."you know what? Go F@&$ yourself!!! And then hung up on me!! I might would have been willing to compensate him for his time if he hadn't been a dick from the get go but there was no way I was going to pay him a dime acting like that!! Ridiculously slow service. Highly agitated at having to wait since only ONE cab appears to be operating for all areas! Having to wait 45 minutes is absolutely ridiculous. Get it together or don't refer to yourself as a cab service! read more
